제 12 장

제사장과 레위 사람들

1   스알디엘의 아들 스룹바벨과 예수아와 함께 돌아온 제사장들과 레위 사람들은 이러하니라 제사장들은 스라야와 예레미야와 에스라와

2   아마랴와 말룩과 핫두스와

3   스가냐와 르훔과 므레못과

4   잇도와 긴느도이와 아비야와

5   미야민과 마아댜와 빌가와

6   스마야와 요야립과 여다야와

7   살루와 아목과 힐기야와 여다야니 이상은 예수아 때에 제사장들과 그들의 형제의 지도자들이었느니라

대제사장 예수아의 자손들

8   레위 사람들은 예수아와 빈누이와 갓미엘과 세레뱌와 유다와 맛다냐니 이 맛다냐는 그의 형제와 함께 찬송하는 일을 맡았고

9   또 그들의 형제 박부갸와 운노는 직무를 따라 그들의 맞은편에 있으며

10   예수아는 요야김을 낳고 요야김은 엘리아십을 낳고 엘리아십은 요야다를 낳고

11   요야다는 요나단을 낳고 요나단은 얏두아를 낳았느니라

제사장의 족장들

12   요야김 때에 제사장, 족장 된 자는 스라야 족속에는 므라야요 예레미야 족속에는 하나냐요

13   에스라 족속에는 므술람이요 아마랴 족속에는 여호하난이요

14   말루기 족속에는 요나단이요 스바냐 족속에는 요셉이요

15   하림 족속에는 아드나요 므라욧 족속에는 헬개요

16   잇도 족속에는 스가랴요 긴느돈 족속에는 므술람이요

17   아비야 족속에는 시그리요 미냐민 곧 모아댜 족속에는 빌대요

18   빌가 족속에는 삼무아요 스마야 족속에는 여호나단이요

19   요야립 족속에는 맛드내요 여다야 족속에는 웃시요

20   살래 족속에는 갈래요 아목 족속에는 에벨이요

21   힐기야 족속에는 하사뱌요 여다야 족속에는 느다넬이었느니라

제사장과 레위 사람들에 관한 기록

22   엘리아십과 요야다와 요하난과 얏두아 때에 레위 사람의 족장이 모두 책에 기록되었고 바사 왕 다리오 때에 제사장도 책에 기록되었고

23   레위 자손의 족장들은 엘리아십의 아들 요하난 때까지 역대지략에 기록되었으며

24   레위 족속의 지도자들은 하사뱌와 세레뱌와 갓미엘의 아들 예수아라 그들은 그들의 형제의 맞은편에 있어 하나님의 사람 다윗의 명령대로 순서를 따라 주를 찬양하며 감사하고

25   맛다냐와 박부갸와 오바댜와 므술람과 달몬과 악굽은 다 문지기로서 순서대로 문안의 곳간을 파수하였나니

26   이상의 모든 사람들은 요사닥의 손자 예수아의 아들 요야김과 총독 느헤미야와 제사장 겸 학사 에스라 때에 있었느니라

느헤미야가 성벽을 봉헌하다

27   예루살렘 성벽을 봉헌하게 되니 각처에서 레위 사람들을 찾아 예루살렘으로 데려다가 감사하며 노래하며 제금을 치며 비파와 수금을 타며 즐거이 봉헌식을 행하려 하매

28   이에 노래하는 자들이 예루살렘 사방 들과 느도바 사람의 마을에서 모여들고

29   또 벧길갈과 게바와 아스마웻 들에서 모여들었으니 이 노래하는 자들은 자기들을 위하여 예루살렘 사방에 마을들을 이루었음이라

30   제사장들과 레위 사람들이 몸을 정결하게 하고 또 백성과 성문과 성벽을 정결하게 하니라

31   이에 내가 유다의 방백들을 성벽 위에 오르게 하고 또 감사 찬송하는 자의 큰 무리를 둘로 나누어 성벽 위로 대오를 지어 가게 하였는데 한 무리는 오른쪽으로 분문을 향하여 가게 하니

32   그들의 뒤를 따르는 자는 호세야와 유다 지도자의 절반이요

33   또 아사랴와 에스라와 므술람과

34   유다와 베냐민과 스마야와 예레미야이며

35   또 제사장들의 자손 몇 사람이 나팔을 잡았으니 요나단의 아들 스마야의 손자 맛다냐의 증손 미가야의 현손 삭굴의 오대 손 아삽의 육대 손 스가랴와

36   그의 형제들인 스마야와 아사렐과 밀랄래와 길랄래와 마애와 느다넬과 유다와 하나니라 다 하나님의 사람 다윗의 악기를 잡았고 학사 에스라가 앞서서

37   샘문으로 전진하여 성벽으로 올라가는 곳에 이르러 다윗 성의 층계로 올라가서 다윗의 궁 윗 길에서 동쪽으로 향하여 수문에 이르렀고

38   감사 찬송하는 다른 무리는 왼쪽으로 행진하는데 내가 백성의 절반과 더불어 그 뒤를 따라 성벽 위로 가서 화덕 망대 윗 길로 성벽 넓은 곳에 이르고

39   에브라임 문 위로 옛문과 어문과 하나넬 망대와 함메아 망대를 지나 양문에 이르러 감옥 문에 멈추매

40   이에 감사 찬송하는 두 무리가 하나님의 전에 섰고 또 나와 민장의 절반도 함께 하였고

41   제사장 엘리아김과 마아세야와 미냐민과 미가야와 엘료에내와 스가랴와 하나냐는 다 나팔을 잡았고

42   또 마아세야와 스마야와 엘르아살과 웃시와 여호하난과 말기야와 엘람과 에셀이 함께 있으며 노래하는 자는 크게 찬송하였는데 그 감독은 예스라히야라

43   이 날에 무리가 큰 제사를 드리고 심히 즐거워하였으니 이는 하나님이 크게 즐거워하게 하셨음이라 부녀와 어린 아이도 즐거워하였으므로 예루살렘이 즐거워하는 소리가 멀리 들렸느니라

제사장과 레위 사람에게 준 몫

44   그 날에 사람을 세워 곳간을 맡기고 제사장들과 레위 사람들에게 돌릴 것 곧 율법에 정한 대로 거제물과 처음 익은 것과 십일조를 모든 성읍 밭에서 거두어 이 곳간에 쌓게 하였노니 이는 유다 사람이 섬기는 제사장들과 레위 사람들로 말미암아 즐거워하기 때문이라

45   그들은 하나님을 섬기는 일과 결례의 일을 힘썼으며 노래하는 자들과 문지기들도 그러하여 모두 다윗과 그의 아들 솔로몬의 명령을 따라 행하였으니

46   옛적 다윗과 아삽의 때에는 노래하는 자의 지도자가 있어서 하나님께 찬송하는 노래와 감사하는 노래를 하였음이며

47   스룹바벨 때와 느헤미야 때에는 온 이스라엘이 노래하는 자들과 문지기들에게 날마다 쓸 몫을 주되 그들이 성별한 것을 레위 사람들에게 주고 레위 사람들은 그것을 또 성별하여 아론 자손에게 주었느니라

#NEHEMÍAS 12

Sacerdotes y levitas

1Estos son los sacerdotes y levitas que subieron con Zorobabel hijo de Salatiel, y con Jesúa: Seraías, Jeremías, Esdras, 2Amarías, Maluc, Hatús, 3Secanías, Rehum, Meremot, 4Iddo, Gineto, Abías, 5Mijamín, Maadías, Bilga, 6Semaías, Joiarib, Jedaías, 7Salú, Amoc, Hilcías y Jedaías. Estos eran los príncipes de los sacerdotes y sus hermanos en los días de Jesúa. 8Y los levitas: Jesúa, Binúi, Cadmiel, Serebías, Judá y Matanías, que con sus hermanos oficiaba en los cantos de alabanza. 9Y Bacbuquías y Uni, sus hermanos, cada cual en su ministerio.

10Jesúa engendró a Joiacim, y Joiacim engendró a Eliasib, y Eliasib engendró a Joiada; 11Joiada engendró a Jonatán, y Jonatán engendró a Jadúa. 12Y en los días de Joiacim los sacerdotes jefes de familias fueron: de Seraías, Meraías; de Jeremías, Hananías; 13de Esdras, Mesulam; de Amarías, Johanán; 14de Melicú, Jonatán; de Sebanías, José; 15de Harim, Adna; de Meraiot, Helcai; 16de Iddo, Zacarías; de Ginetón, Mesulam; 17de Abías, Zicri; de Miniamín, de Moadías, Piltai; 18de Bilga, Samúa; de Semaías, Jonatán; 19de Joiarib, Matenai; de Jedaías, Uzi; 20de Salai, Calai; de Amoc, Eber; 21de Hilcías, Hasabías; de Jedaías, Natanael.

22Los levitas en días de Eliasib, de Joiada, de Johanán y de Jadúa fueron inscritos por jefes de familias; también los sacerdotes, hasta el reinado de Darío el persa. 23Los hijos de Leví, jefes de familias, fueron inscritos en el libro de las crónicas hasta los días de Johanán hijo de Eliasib. 24Los principales de los levitas: Hasabías, Serebías, Jesúa hijo de Cadmiel, y sus hermanos delante de ellos, para alabar y dar gracias, conforme al estatuto de David varón de Dios, guardando su turno. 25Matanías, Bacbuquías, Obadías, Mesulam, Talmón y Acub, guardas, eran porteros para la guardia a las entradas de las puertas. 26Estos fueron en los días de Joiacim hijo de Jesúa, hijo de Josadac, y en los días del gobernador Nehemías y del sacerdote Esdras, escriba.

Dedicación del muro

27Para la dedicación del muro de Jerusalén, buscaron a los levitas de todos sus lugares para traerlos a Jerusalén, para hacer la dedicación y la fiesta con alabanzas y con cánticos, con címbalos, salterios y cítaras. 28Y fueron reunidos los hijos de los cantores, así de la región alrededor de Jerusalén como de las aldeas de los netofatitas; 29y de la casa de Gilgal, y de los campos de Geba y de Azmavet; porque los cantores se habían edificado aldeas alrededor de Jerusalén. 30Y se purificaron los sacerdotes y los levitas; y purificaron al pueblo, y las puertas, y el muro. 31Hice luego subir a los príncipes de Judá sobre el muro, y puse dos coros grandes que fueron en procesión; el uno a la derecha, sobre el muro, hacia la puerta del Muladar. 32E iba tras de ellos Osaías con la mitad de los príncipes de Judá, 33y Azarías, Esdras, Mesulam, 34Judá y Benjamín, Semaías y Jeremías. 35Y de los hijos de los sacerdotes iban con trompetas Zacarías hijo de Jonatán, hijo de Semaías, hijo de Matanías, hijo de Micaías, hijo de Zacur, hijo de Asaf; 36y sus hermanos Semaías, Azarael, Milalai, Gilalai, Maai, Natanael, Judá y Hanani, con los instrumentos musicales de David varón de Dios; y el escriba Esdras delante de ellos. 37Y a la puerta de la Fuente, en frente de ellos, subieron por las gradas de la ciudad de David, por la subida del muro, desde la casa de David hasta la puerta de las Aguas, al oriente. 38El segundo coro iba del lado opuesto, y yo en pos de él, con la mitad del pueblo sobre el muro, desde la torre de los Hornos hasta el muro ancho; 39y desde la puerta de Efraín hasta la puerta Vieja y a la puerta del Pescado, y la torre de Hananeel, y la torre de Hamea, hasta la puerta de las Ovejas; y se detuvieron en la puerta de la Cárcel. 40Llegaron luego los dos coros a la casa de Dios; y yo, y la mitad de los oficiales conmigo, 41y los sacerdotes Eliacim, Maaseías, Miniamín, Micaías, Elioenai, Zacarías y Hananías, con trompetas; 42y Maasías, Semaías, Eleazar, Uzi, Johanán, Malquías, Elam y Ezer. Y los cantores cantaban en alta voz, e Izrahías era el director. 43Y sacrificaron aquel día numerosas víctimas, y se regocijaron, porque Dios los había recreado con grande contentamiento; se alegraron también las mujeres y los niños; y el alborozo de Jerusalén fue oído desde lejos.

Porciones para sacerdotes y levitas

44En aquel día fueron puestos varones sobre las cámaras de los tesoros, de las ofrendas, de las primicias y de los diezmos, para recoger en ellas, de los ejidos de las ciudades, las porciones legales para los sacerdotes y levitas; porque era grande el gozo de Judá con respecto a los sacerdotes y levitas que servían. 45Y habían cumplido el servicio de su Dios, y el servicio de la expiación, como también los cantores y los porteros, conforme al estatuto de David y de Salomón su hijo. 46Porque desde el tiempo de David y de Asaf, ya de antiguo, había un director de cantores para los cánticos y alabanzas y acción de gracias a Dios. 47Y todo Israel en días de Zorobabel y en días de Nehemías daba alimentos a los cantores y a los porteros, cada cosa en su día; consagraban asimismo sus porciones a los levitas, y los levitas consagraban parte a los hijos de Aarón.

#Nehemiah 12

Priests and Levites

1These are the priests and the Levites who came up with Zerubbabel the son of Shealtiel, and Jeshua: Seraiah, Jeremiah, Ezra, 2Amariah, Malluch, Hattush, 3Shecaniah, Rehum, Meremoth, 4Iddo, Ginnethoi, Abijah, 5Mijamin, Maadiah, Bilgah, 6Shemaiah, Joiarib, Jedaiah, 7Sallu, Amok, Hilkiah, Jedaiah. These were the chiefs of the priests and of their brothers in the days of Jeshua.

8And the Levites: Jeshua, Binnui, Kadmiel, Sherebiah, Judah, and Mattaniah, who with his brothers was in charge of the songs of thanksgiving. 9And Bakbukiah and Unni and their brothers stood opposite them in the service. 10And Jeshua was the father of Joiakim, Joiakim the father of Eliashib, Eliashib the father of Joiada, 11Joiada the father of Jonathan, and Jonathan the father of Jaddua.

12 And in the days of Joiakim were priests, heads of fathers’ houses: of Seraiah, Meraiah; of Jeremiah, Hananiah; 13of Ezra, Meshullam; of Amariah, Jehohanan; 14of Malluchi, Jonathan; of Shebaniah, Joseph; 15of Harim, Adna; of Meraioth, Helkai; 16of Iddo, Zechariah; of Ginnethon, Meshullam; 17of Abijah, Zichri; of Miniamin, of Moadiah, Piltai; 18of Bilgah, Shammua; of Shemaiah, Jehonathan; 19of Joiarib, Mattenai; of Jedaiah, Uzzi; 20of Sallai, Kallai; of Amok, Eber; 21of Hilkiah, Hashabiah; of Jedaiah, Nethanel.

22In the days of Eliashib, Joiada, Johanan, and Jaddua, the Levites were recorded as heads of fathers’ houses; so too were the priests in the reign of Darius the Persian. 23As for the sons of Levi, their heads of fathers’ houses were written in the Book of the Chronicles until the days of Johanan the son of Eliashib. 24And the chiefs of the Levites: Hashabiah, Sherebiah, and Jeshua the son of Kadmiel, with their brothers who stood opposite them, to praise and to give thanks, according to the commandment of David the man of God, watch by watch.

25Mattaniah, Bakbukiah, Obadiah, Meshullam, Talmon, and Akkub were gatekeepers standing guard at the storehouses of the gates. 26These were in the days of Joiakim the son of Jeshua son of Jozadak, and in the days of Nehemiah the governor and of Ezra, the priest and scribe.

Dedication of the Wall

27And at the dedication of the wall of Jerusalem they sought the Levites in all their places, to bring them to Jerusalem to celebrate the dedication with gladness, with thanksgivings and with singing, with cymbals, harps, and lyres. 28And the sons of the singers gathered together from the district surrounding Jerusalem and from the villages of the Netophathites; 29also from Beth-gilgal and from the region of Geba and Azmaveth, for the singers had built for themselves villages around Jerusalem. 30And the priests and the Levites purified themselves, and they purified the people and the gates and the wall.

31Then I brought the leaders of Judah up onto the wall and appointed two great choirs that gave thanks. One went to the south on the wall to the Dung Gate. 32And after them went Hoshaiah and half of the leaders of Judah, 33and Azariah, Ezra, Meshullam, 34Judah, Benjamin, Shemaiah, and Jeremiah, 35and certain of the priests’ sons with trumpets: Zechariah the son of Jonathan, son of Shemaiah, son of Mattaniah, son of Micaiah, son of Zaccur, son of Asaph; 36and his relatives, Shemaiah, Azarel, Milalai, Gilalai, Maai, Nethanel, Judah, and Hanani, with the musical instruments of David the man of God. And Ezra the scribe went before them. 37At the Fountain Gate they went up straight before them by the stairs of the city of David, at the ascent of the wall, above the house of David, to the Water Gate on the east.

38 The other choir of those who gave thanks went to the north, and I followed them with half of the people, on the wall, above the Tower of the Ovens, to the Broad Wall, 39and above the Gate of Ephraim, and by the Gate of Yeshanah, and by the Fish Gate and the Tower of Hananel and the Tower of the Hundred, to the Sheep Gate; and they came to a halt at the Gate of the Guard. 40So both choirs of those who gave thanks stood in the house of God, and I and half of the officials with me; 41and the priests Eliakim, Maaseiah, Miniamin, Micaiah, Elioenai, Zechariah, and Hananiah, with trumpets; 42and Maaseiah, Shemaiah, Eleazar, Uzzi, Jehohanan, Malchijah, Elam, and Ezer. And the singers sang with Jezrahiah as their leader. 43And they offered great sacrifices that day and rejoiced, for God had made them rejoice with great joy; the women and children also rejoiced. And the joy of Jerusalem was heard far away.

Service at the Temple

44 On that day men were appointed over the storerooms, the contributions, the firstfruits, and the tithes, to gather into them the portions required by the Law for the priests and for the Levites according to the fields of the towns, for Judah rejoiced over the priests and the Levites who ministered. 45And they performed the service of their God and the service of purification, as did the singers and the gatekeepers, according to the command of David and his son Solomon. 46For long ago in the days of David and Asaph there were directors of the singers, and there were songs of praise and thanksgiving to God. 47And all Israel in the days of Zerubbabel and in the days of Nehemiah gave the daily portions for the singers and the gatekeepers; and they set apart that which was for the Levites; and the Levites set apart that which was for the sons of Aaron.
