제 5 장

1   솔로몬이 여호와의 전을 위하여 만드는 모든 일을 마친지라 이에 솔로몬이 그의 아버지 다윗이 드린 은과 금과 모든 기구를 가져다가 하나님의 전 곳간에 두었더라

언약궤를 성전으로 옮기다(왕상 8:1-9)

2   이에 솔로몬이 여호와의 언약궤를 다윗 성 곧 시온에서부터 메어 올리고자 하여 이스라엘 장로들과 모든 지파의 우두머리 곧 이스라엘 자손의 족장들을 다 예루살렘으로 소집하니

3   일곱째 달 절기에 이스라엘 모든 사람이 다 왕에게로 모이고

4   이스라엘 장로들이 이르매 레위 사람들이 궤를 메니라

5   궤와 회막과 장막 안에 모든 거룩한 기구를 메고 올라가되 레위인 제사장들이 그것들을 메고 올라가매

6   솔로몬 왕과 그 앞에 모인 모든 이스라엘 회중이 궤 앞에서 양과 소로 제사를 드렸으니 그 수가 많아 기록할 수도 없고 셀 수도 없었더라

7   제사장들이 여호와의 언약궤를 그 처소로 메어 들였으니 곧 본전 지성소 그룹들의 날개 아래라

8   그룹들이 궤 처소 위에서 날개를 펴서 궤와 그 채를 덮었는데

9   그 채가 길어서 궤에서 나오므로 그 끝이 본전 앞에서 보이나 밖에서는 보이지 아니하며 그 궤가 오늘까지 그 곳에 있으며

10   궤 안에는 두 돌판 외에 아무것도 없으니 이것은 이스라엘 자손이 애굽에서 나온 후 여호와께서 그들과 언약을 세우실 때에 모세가 호렙에서 그 안에 넣은 것이더라

여호와의 영광

11   이 때에는 제사장들이 그 반열대로 하지 아니하고 스스로 정결하게 하고 성소에 있다가 나오매

12   노래하는 레위 사람 아삽과 헤만과 여두둔과 그의 아들들과 형제들이 다 세마포를 입고 제단 동쪽에 서서 제금과 비파와 수금을 잡고 또 나팔 부는 제사장 백이십 명이 함께 서 있다가

13   나팔 부는 자와 노래하는 자들이 일제히 소리를 내어 여호와를 찬송하며 감사하는데 나팔 불고 제금 치고 모든 악기를 울리며 소리를 높여 여호와를 찬송하여 이르되 선하시도다 그의 자비하심이 영원히 있도다 하매 그 때에 여호와의 전에 구름이 가득한지라

14   제사장들이 그 구름으로 말미암아 능히 서서 섬기지 못하였으니 이는 여호와의 영광이 하나님의 전에 가득함이었더라

1Acabada toda la obra que hizo Salomón para la casa de Jehová, metió Salomón las cosas que David su padre había dedicado; y puso la plata, y el oro, y todos los utensilios, en los tesoros de la casa de Dios.

Salomón traslada el arca al templo

(1 R. 8.1-11)

2Entonces Salomón reunió en Jerusalén a los ancianos de Israel y a todos los príncipes de las tribus, los jefes de las familias de los hijos de Israel, para que trajesen el arca del pacto de Jehová de la ciudad de David, que es Sion. 3Y se congregaron con el rey todos los varones de Israel, para la fiesta solemne del mes séptimo. 4Vinieron, pues, todos los ancianos de Israel, y los levitas tomaron el arca; 5y llevaron el arca, y el tabernáculo de reunión, y todos los utensilios del santuario que estaban en el tabernáculo; los sacerdotes y los levitas los llevaron. 6Y el rey Salomón, y toda la congregación de Israel que se había reunido con él delante del arca, sacrificaron ovejas y bueyes, que por ser tantos no se pudieron contar ni numerar. 7Y los sacerdotes metieron el arca del pacto de Jehová en su lugar, en el santuario de la casa, en el lugar santísimo, bajo las alas de los querubines; 8pues los querubines extendían las alas sobre el lugar del arca, y los querubines cubrían por encima así el arca como sus barras. 9E hicieron salir las barras, de modo que se viesen las cabezas de las barras del arca delante del lugar santísimo, mas no se veían desde fuera; y allí están hasta hoy. 10En el arca no había más que las dos tablas que Moisés había puesto en Horeb, con las cuales Jehová había hecho pacto con los hijos de Israel, cuando salieron de Egipto. 11Y cuando los sacerdotes salieron del santuario (porque todos los sacerdotes que se hallaron habían sido santificados, y no guardaban sus turnos; 12y los levitas cantores, todos los de Asaf, los de Hemán y los de Jedutún, juntamente con sus hijos y sus hermanos, vestidos de lino fino, estaban con címbalos y salterios y arpas al oriente del altar; y con ellos ciento veinte sacerdotes que tocaban trompetas), 13cuando sonaban, pues, las trompetas, y cantaban todos a una, para alabar y dar gracias a Jehová, y a medida que alzaban la voz con trompetas y címbalos y otros instrumentos de música, y alababan a Jehová, diciendo: Porque él es bueno, porque su misericordia es para siempre; entonces la casa se llenó de una nube, la casa de Jehová. 14Y no podían los sacerdotes estar allí para ministrar, por causa de la nube; porque la gloria de Jehová había llenado la casa de Dios.

1 Thus all the work that Solomon did for the house of the Lord was finished. And Solomon brought in the things that David his father had dedicated, and stored the silver, the gold, and all the vessels in the treasuries of the house of God.

The Ark Brought to the Temple

2Then Solomon assembled the elders of Israel and all the heads of the tribes, the leaders of the fathers’ houses of the people of Israel, in Jerusalem, to bring up the ark of the covenant of the Lord out of the city of David, which is Zion. 3And all the men of Israel assembled before the king at the feast that is in the seventh month. 4And all the elders of Israel came, and the Levites took up the ark. 5And they brought up the ark, the tent of meeting, and all the holy vessels that were in the tent; the Levitical priests brought them up. 6And King Solomon and all the congregation of Israel, who had assembled before him, were before the ark, sacrificing so many sheep and oxen that they could not be counted or numbered. 7Then the priests brought the ark of the covenant of the Lord to its place, in the inner sanctuary of the house, in the Most Holy Place, underneath the wings of the cherubim. 8The cherubim spread out their wings over the place of the ark, so that the cherubim made a covering above the ark and its poles. 9And the poles were so long that the ends of the poles were seen from the Holy Place before the inner sanctuary, but they could not be seen from outside. And they are there to this day. 10There was nothing in the ark except the two tablets that Moses put there at Horeb, where the Lord made a covenant with the people of Israel, when they came out of Egypt. 11And when the priests came out of the Holy Place (for all the priests who were present had consecrated themselves, without regard to their divisions, 12and all the Levitical singers, Asaph, Heman, and Jeduthun, their sons and kinsmen, arrayed in fine linen, with cymbals, harps, and lyres, stood east of the altar with 120 priests who were trumpeters; 13and it was the duty of the trumpeters and singers to make themselves heard in unison in praise and thanksgiving to the Lord), and when the song was raised, with trumpets and cymbals and other musical instruments, in praise to the Lord,

“For he is good, for his steadfast love endures forever,”

the house, the house of the Lord, was filled with a cloud, 14so that the priests could not stand to minister because of the cloud, for the glory of the Lord filled the house of God.
