제 2 장

1   이스라엘의 아들은 이러하니 르우벤과 시므온과 레위와 유다와 잇사갈과 스불론과

2   단과 요셉과 베냐민과 납달리와 갓과 아셀이더라

유다의 자손

3   유다의 아들은 에르와 오난과 셀라니 이 세 사람은 가나안 사람 수아의 딸이 유다에게 낳아 준 자요 유다의 맏아들 에르는 여호와 보시기에 악하였으므로 여호와께서 죽이셨고

4   유다의 며느리 다말이 유다에게 베레스와 세라를 낳아 주었으니 유다의 아들이 모두 다섯이더라

5   베레스의 아들은 헤스론과 하물이요

6   세라의 아들은 시므리와 에단과 헤만과 갈골과 다라니 모두 다섯 사람이요

7   갈미의 아들은 아갈이니 그는 진멸시킬 물건을 범하여 이스라엘을 괴롭힌 자이며

8   에단의 아들은 아사랴더라

다윗의 가계

9   헤스론이 낳은 아들은 여라므엘과 람과 글루배라

10   람은 암미나답을 낳고 암미나답은 나손을 낳았으니 나손은 유다 자손의 방백이며

11   나손은 살마를 낳고 살마는 보아스를 낳고

12   보아스는 오벳을 낳고 오벳은 이새를 낳고

13   이새는 맏아들 엘리압과 둘째로 아비나답과 셋째로 시므아와

14   넷째로 느다넬과 다섯째로 랏대와

15   여섯째로 오셈과 일곱째로 다윗을 낳았으며

16   그들의 자매는 스루야와 아비가일이라 스루야의 아들은 아비새와 요압과 아사헬 삼형제요

17   아비가일은 아마사를 낳았으니 아마사의 아버지는 이스마엘 사람 예델이었더라

헤스론의 자손

18   헤스론의 아들 갈렙이 그의 아내 아수바와 여리옷에게서 아들을 낳았으니 그가 낳은 아들들은 예셀과 소밥과 아르돈이며

19   아수바가 죽은 후에 갈렙이 또 에브랏에게 장가 들었더니 에브랏이 그에게 훌을 낳아 주었고

20   훌은 우리를 낳고 우리는 브살렐을 낳았더라

21   그 후에 헤스론이 육십 세에 길르앗의 아버지 마길의 딸에게 장가 들어 동침하였더니 그가 스굽을 헤스론에게 낳아 주었으며

22   스굽은 야일을 낳았고 야일은 길르앗 땅에서 스물세 성읍을 가졌더니

23   그술과 아람이 야일의 성읍들과 그낫과 그에 딸린 성읍들 모두 육십을 그들에게서 빼앗았으며 이들은 다 길르앗의 아버지 마길의 자손이었더라

24   헤스론이 갈렙 에브라다에서 죽은 후에 그의 아내 아비야가 그로 말미암아 아스훌을 낳았으니 아스훌은 드고아의 아버지더라

여라므엘의 자손

25   헤스론의 맏아들 여라므엘의 아들은 맏아들 람과 그 다음 브나와 오렌과 오셈과 아히야이며

26   여라므엘이 다른 아내가 있었으니 이름은 아다라라 그는 오남의 어머니더라

27   여라므엘의 맏아들 람의 아들은 마아스와 야민과 에겔이요

28   오남의 아들들은 삼매와 야다요 삼매의 아들은 나답과 아비술이며

29   아비술의 아내의 이름은 아비하일이라 아비하일이 아반과 몰릿을 그에게 낳아 주었으며

30   나답의 아들들은 셀렛과 압바임이라 셀렛은 아들이 없이 죽었고

31   압바임의 아들은 이시요 이시의 아들은 세산이요 세산의 아들은 알래요

32   삼매의 아우 야다의 아들들은 예델과 요나단이라 예델은 아들이 없이 죽었고

33   요나단의 아들들은 벨렛과 사사라 여라므엘의 자손은 이러하며

34   세산은 아들이 없고 딸뿐이라 그에게 야르하라 하는 애굽 종이 있으므로

35   세산이 딸을 그 종 야르하에게 주어 아내를 삼게 하였더니 그가 그로 말미암아 앗대를 낳고

36   앗대는 나단을 낳고 나단은 사밧을 낳고

37   사밧은 에블랄을 낳고 에블랄은 오벳을 낳고

38   오벳은 예후를 낳고 예후는 아사랴를 낳고

39   아사랴는 헬레스를 낳고 헬레스는 엘르아사를 낳고

40   엘르아사는 시스매를 낳고 시스매는 살룸을 낳고

41   살룸은 여가먀를 낳고 여가먀는 엘리사마를 낳았더라

갈렙의 자손

42   여라므엘의 아우 갈렙의 아들 곧 맏아들은 메사이니 십의 아버지요 그 아들은 마레사니 헤브론의 아버지이며

43   헤브론의 아들들은 고라와 답부아와 레겜과 세마라

44   세마는 라함을 낳았으니 라함은 요르그암의 아버지이며 레겜은 삼매를 낳았고

45   삼매의 아들은 마온이라 마온은 벧술의 아버지이며

46   갈렙의 소실 에바는 하란과 모사와 가세스를 낳고 하란은 가세스를 낳았으며

47   야대의 아들은 레겜과 요단과 게산과 벨렛과 에바와 사압이며

48   갈렙의 소실 마아가는 세벨과 디르하나를 낳았고

49   또 맛만나의 아버지 사압을 낳았고 또 막베나와 기브아의 아버지 스와를 낳았으며 갈렙의 딸은 악사더라

50   갈렙의 자손 곧 에브라다의 맏아들 훌의 아들은 이러하니 기럇여아림의 아버지 소발과

51   베들레헴의 아버지 살마와 벧가델의 아버지 하렙이라

52   기럇여아림의 아버지 소발의 자손은 하로에와 므누홋 사람의 절반이니

53   기럇여아림 족속들은 이델 종족과 붓 종족과 수맛 종족과 미스라 종족이라 이로 말미암아 소라와 에스다올 두 종족이 나왔으며

54   살마의 자손들은 베들레헴과 느도바 종족과 아다롯벳요압과 마나핫 종족의 절반과 소라 종족과

55   야베스에 살던 서기관 종족 곧 디랏 종족과 시므앗 종족과 수갓 종족이니 이는 다 레갑 가문의 조상 함맛에게서 나온 겐 종족이더라

(Gn. 35.22-26)

1Estos son los hijos de Israel: Rubén, Simeón, Leví, Judá, Isacar, Zabulón, 2Dan, José, Benjamín, Neftalí, Gad y Aser.

Descendientes de Judá

3Los hijos de Judá: Er, Onán y Sela. Estos tres le nacieron de la hija de Súa, cananea. Y Er, primogénito de Judá, fue malo delante de Jehová, quien lo mató. 4Y Tamar su nuera dio a luz a Fares y a Zera. Todos los hijos de Judá fueron cinco.

5Los hijos de Fares: Hezrón y Hamul. 6Y los hijos de Zera: Zimri, Etán, Hemán, Calcol y Dara; por todos cinco. 7Hijo de Carmi fue Acán, el que perturbó a Israel, porque prevaricó en el anatema. 8Azarías fue hijo de Etán.

9Los hijos que nacieron a Hezrón: Jerameel, Ram y Quelubai. 10Ram engendró a Aminadab, y Aminadab engendró a Naasón, príncipe de los hijos de Judá. 11Naasón engendró a Salmón, y Salmón engendró a Booz. 12Booz engendró a Obed, y Obed engendró a Isaí, 13e Isaí engendró a Eliab su primogénito, el segundo Abinadab, Simea el tercero, 14el cuarto Natanael, el quinto Radai, 15el sexto Ozem, el séptimo David, 16de los cuales Sarvia y Abigail fueron hermanas. Los hijos de Sarvia fueron tres: Abisai, Joab y Asael. 17Abigail dio a luz a Amasa, cuyo padre fue Jeter ismaelita, 18Caleb hijo de Hezrón engendró a Jeriot de su mujer Azuba. Y los hijos de ella fueron Jeser, Sobab y Ardón. 19Muerta Azuba, tomó Caleb por mujer a Efrata, la cual dio a luz a Hur. 20Y Hur engendró a Uri, y Uri engendró a Bezaleel.

21Después entró Hezrón a la hija de Maquir padre de Galaad, la cual tomó siendo él de sesenta años, y ella dio a luz a Segub. 22Y Segub engendró a Jair, el cual tuvo veintitrés ciudades en la tierra de Galaad. 23Pero Gesur y Aram tomaron de ellos las ciudades de Jair, con Kenat y sus aldeas, sesenta lugares. Todos estos fueron de los hijos de Maquir padre de Galaad. 24Muerto Hezrón en Caleb de Efrata, Abías mujer de Hezrón dio a luz a Asur padre de Tecoa.

25Los hijos de Jerameel primogénito de Hezrón fueron Ram su primogénito, Buna, Orén, Ozem y Ahías. 26Y tuvo Jerameel otra mujer llamada Atara, que fue madre de Onam. 27Los hijos de Ram primogénito de Jerameel fueron Maaz, Jamín y Equer. 28Y los hijos de Onam fueron Samai y Jada. Los hijos de Samai: Nadab y Abisur. 29Y el nombre de la mujer de Abisur fue Abihail, la cual dio a luz a Ahbán y a Molid. 30Los hijos de Nadab: Seled y Apaim. Y Seled murió sin hijos. 31Isi fue hijo de Apaim, y Sesán hijo de Isi, e hijo de Sesán, Ahlai. 32Los hijos de Jada hermano de Samai: Jeter y Jonatán. Y murió Jeter sin hijos. 33Los hijos de Jonatán: Pelet y Zaza. Estos fueron los hijos de Jerameel. 34Y Sesán no tuvo hijos, sino hijas; pero tenía Sesán un siervo egipcio llamado Jarha. 35A este Sesán dio su hija por mujer, y ella dio a luz a Atai. 36Atai engendró a Natán, y Natán engendró a Zabad; 37Zabad engendró a Eflal, Eflal engendró a Obed; 38Obed engendró a Jehú, Jehú engendró a Azarías; 39Azarías engendró a Heles, Heles engendró a Elasa; 40Elasa engendró a Sismai, Sismai engendró a Salum; 41Salum engendró a Jecamías, y Jecamías engendró a Elisama.

42Los hijos de Caleb hermano de Jerameel fueron: Mesa su primogénito, que fue el padre de Zif; y los hijos de Maresa padre de Hebrón. 43Y los hijos de Hebrón: Coré, Tapúa, Requem y Sema. 44Sema engendró a Raham padre de Jorcoam, y Requem engendró a Samai. 45Maón fue hijo de Samai, y Maón padre de Bet-sur. 46Y Efa concubina de Caleb dio a luz a Harán, a Mosa y a Gazez. Y Harán engendró a Gazez. 47Los hijos de Jahdai: Regem, Jotam, Gesam, Pelet, Efa y Saaf. 48Maaca concubina de Caleb dio a luz a Seber y a Tirhana. 49También dio a luz a Saaf padre de Madmana, y a Seva padre de Macbena y padre de Gibea. Y Acsa fue hija de Caleb. 50Estos fueron los hijos de Caleb. Los hijos de Hur primogénito de Efrata: Sobal padre de Quiriat-jearim, 51Salma padre de Belén, y Haref padre de Bet-gader. 52Y los hijos de Sobal padre de Quiriat-jearim fueron Haroe, la mitad de los manahetitas. 53Y las familias de Quiriat-jearim fueron los itritas, los futitas, los sumatitas y los misraítas, de los cuales salieron los zoratitas y los estaolitas. 54Los hijos de Salma: Belén, y los netofatitas, Atrot-bet-joab, y la mitad de los manahetitas, los zoraítas. 55Y las familias de los escribas que moraban en Jabes fueron los tirateos, los simeateos y los sucateos, los cuales son los ceneos que vinieron de Hamat padre de la casa de Recab.

1These are the sons of Israel: Reuben, Simeon, Levi, Judah, Issachar, Zebulun, 2Dan, Joseph, Benjamin, Naphtali, Gad, and Asher. 3The sons of Judah: Er, Onan and Shelah; these three Bath-shua the Canaanite bore to him. Now Er, Judah’s firstborn, was evil in the sight of the Lord, and he put him to death. 4His daughter-in-law Tamar also bore him Perez and Zerah. Judah had five sons in all.

5The sons of Perez: Hezron and Hamul. 6The sons of Zerah: Zimri, Ethan, Heman, Calcol, and Dara, five in all. 7The son of Carmi: Achan, the troubler of Israel, who broke faith in the matter of the devoted thing; 8and Ethan’s son was Azariah.

9The sons of Hezron that were born to him: Jerahmeel, Ram, and Chelubai. 10Ram fathered Amminadab, and Amminadab fathered Nahshon, prince of the sons of Judah. 11Nahshon fathered Salmon, Salmon fathered Boaz, 12Boaz fathered Obed, Obed fathered Jesse. 13Jesse fathered Eliab his firstborn, Abinadab the second, Shimea the third, 14Nethanel the fourth, Raddai the fifth, 15Ozem the sixth, David the seventh. 16And their sisters were Zeruiah and Abigail. The sons of Zeruiah: Abishai, Joab, and Asahel, three. 17Abigail bore Amasa, and the father of Amasa was Jether the Ishmaelite.

18 Caleb the son of Hezron fathered children by his wife Azubah, and by Jerioth; and these were her sons: Jesher, Shobab, and Ardon. 19When Azubah died, Caleb married Ephrath, who bore him Hur. 20Hur fathered Uri, and Uri fathered Bezalel.

21Afterward Hezron went in to the daughter of Machir the father of Gilead, whom he married when he was sixty years old, and she bore him Segub. 22And Segub fathered Jair, who had twenty-three cities in the land of Gilead. 23But Geshur and Aram took from them Havvoth-jair, Kenath, and its villages, sixty towns. All these were descendants of Machir, the father of Gilead. 24After the death of Hezron, Caleb went in to Ephrathah, the wife of Hezron his father, and she bore him Ashhur, the father of Tekoa.

25The sons of Jerahmeel, the firstborn of Hezron: Ram, his firstborn, Bunah, Oren, Ozem, and Ahijah. 26Jerahmeel also had another wife, whose name was Atarah; she was the mother of Onam. 27The sons of Ram, the firstborn of Jerahmeel: Maaz, Jamin, and Eker. 28The sons of Onam: Shammai and Jada. The sons of Shammai: Nadab and Abishur. 29The name of Abishur’s wife was Abihail, and she bore him Ahban and Molid. 30The sons of Nadab: Seled and Appaim; and Seled died childless. 31The son of Appaim: Ishi. The son of Ishi: Sheshan. The son of Sheshan: Ahlai. 32The sons of Jada, Shammai’s brother: Jether and Jonathan; and Jether died childless. 33The sons of Jonathan: Peleth and Zaza. These were the descendants of Jerahmeel. 34Now Sheshan had no sons, only daughters, but Sheshan had an Egyptian slave whose name was Jarha. 35So Sheshan gave his daughter in marriage to Jarha his slave, and she bore him Attai. 36Attai fathered Nathan, and Nathan fathered Zabad. 37Zabad fathered Ephlal, and Ephlal fathered Obed. 38Obed fathered Jehu, and Jehu fathered Azariah. 39Azariah fathered Helez, and Helez fathered Eleasah. 40Eleasah fathered Sismai, and Sismai fathered Shallum. 41Shallum fathered Jekamiah, and Jekamiah fathered Elishama.

42The sons of Caleb the brother of Jerahmeel: Mareshah his firstborn, who fathered Ziph. The son of Mareshah: Hebron. 43The sons of Hebron: Korah, Tappuah, Rekem and Shema. 44Shema fathered Raham, the father of Jorkeam; and Rekem fathered Shammai. 45The son of Shammai: Maon; and Maon fathered Beth-zur. 46Ephah also, Caleb’s concubine, bore Haran, Moza, and Gazez; and Haran fathered Gazez. 47The sons of Jahdai: Regem, Jotham, Geshan, Pelet, Ephah, and Shaaph. 48Maacah, Caleb’s concubine, bore Sheber and Tirhanah. 49She also bore Shaaph the father of Madmannah, Sheva the father of Machbenah and the father of Gibea; and the daughter of Caleb was Achsah. 50These were the descendants of Caleb.

The sons of Hur the firstborn of Ephrathah: Shobal the father of Kiriath-jearim, 51Salma, the father of Bethlehem, and Hareph the father of Beth-gader. 52Shobal the father of Kiriath-jearim had other sons: Haroeh, half of the Menuhoth. 53And the clans of Kiriath-jearim: the Ithrites, the Puthites, the Shumathites, and the Mishraites; from these came the Zorathites and the Eshtaolites. 54The sons of Salma: Bethlehem, the Netophathites, Atroth-beth-joab and half of the Manahathites, the Zorites. 55The clans also of the scribes who lived at Jabez: the Tirathites, the Shimeathites and the Sucathites. These are the Kenites who came from Hammath, the father of the house of Rechab.
