제 8 장
나병환자를 깨끗하게 하시다(막 1:40-45; 눅 5:12-16)
1 예수께서 산에서 내려 오시니 수많은 무리가 따르니라
2 한 나병환자가 나아와 절하며 이르되 주여 원하시면 저를 깨끗하게 하실 수 있나이다 하거늘
3 예수께서 손을 내밀어 그에게 대시며 이르시되 내가 원하노니 깨끗함을 받으라 하시니 즉시 그의 나병이 깨끗하여진지라
4 예수께서 이르시되 삼가 아무에게도 이르지 말고 다만 가서 ㄱ)제사장에게 네 몸을 보이고 모세가 명한 예물을 드려 그들에게 입증하라 하시니라
백부장의 하인을 고치시다(눅 7:1-10; 요 4:43-54)
5 예수께서 가버나움에 들어가시니 한 백부장이 나아와 간구하여
6 이르되 주여 내 하인이 중풍병으로 집에 누워 몹시 괴로워하나이다
7 이르시되 내가 가서 고쳐 주리라
8 백부장이 대답하여 이르되 주여 내 집에 들어오심을 나는 감당하지 못하겠사오니 다만 말씀으로만 하옵소서 그러면 내 하인이 낫겠사옵나이다
9 나도 남의 수하에 있는 사람이요 내 아래에도 군사가 있으니 이더러 가라 하면 가고 저더러 오라 하면 오고 내 종더러 이것을 하라 하면 하나이다
10 예수께서 들으시고 놀랍게 여겨 따르는 자들에게 이르시되 내가 진실로 너희에게 이르노니 1)이스라엘 중 아무에게서도 이만한 믿음을 보지 못하였노라
11 또 너희에게 이르노니 동 서로부터 많은 사람이 이르러 아브라함과 이삭과 야곱과 함께 천국에 2)앉으려니와
12 그 나라의 본 자손들은 바깥 어두운 데 쫓겨나 거기서 울며 이를 갈게 되리라
13 예수께서 백부장에게 이르시되 가라 네 믿은 대로 될지어다 하시니 그 즉시 하인이 나으니라
많은 사람들을 다 고치시다(막 1:29-34; 눅 4:38-41)
14 예수께서 베드로의 집에 들어가사 그의 장모가 열병으로 앓아 누운 것을 보시고
15 그의 손을 만지시니 열병이 떠나가고 여인이 일어나서 예수께 수종들더라
16 저물매 사람들이 귀신 들린 자를 많이 데리고 예수께 오거늘 예수께서 말씀으로 귀신들을 쫓아 내시고 병든 자들을 다 고치시니
17 이는 선지자 이사야를 통하여 하신 말씀에 ㄴ)우리의 연약한 것을 친히 담당하시고 병을 짊어지셨도다 함을 이루려 하심이더라
나를 따르라(눅 9:57-62)
18 예수께서 무리가 자기를 에워싸는 것을 보시고 건너편으로 가기를 명하시니라
19 한 서기관이 나아와 예수께 아뢰되 선생님이여 어디로 가시든지 저는 따르리이다
20 예수께서 이르시되 여우도 굴이 있고 공중의 새도 거처가 있으되 인자는 머리 둘 곳이 없다 하시더라
21 제자 중에 또 한 사람이 이르되 주여 내가 먼저 가서 내 아버지를 장사하게 허락하옵소서
22 예수께서 이르시되 죽은 자들이 그들의 죽은 자들을 장사하게 하고 너는 나를 따르라 하시니라
바람과 바다를 잔잔하게 하시다(막 4:35-41; 눅 8:22-25)
23 배에 오르시매 제자들이 따랐더니
24 바다에 큰 놀이 일어나 배가 물결에 덮이게 되었으되 예수께서는 주무시는지라
25 그 제자들이 나아와 깨우며 이르되 주여 구원하소서 우리가 죽겠나이다
26 예수께서 이르시되 어찌하여 무서워하느냐 믿음이 작은 자들아 하시고 곧 일어나사 바람과 바다를 꾸짖으시니 아주 잔잔하게 되거늘
27 그 사람들이 놀랍게 여겨 이르되 이이가 어떠한 사람이기에 바람과 바다도 순종하는가 하더라
귀신 들린 두 사람을 고치시다(막 5:1-20; 눅 8:26-39)
28 또 예수께서 건너편 가다라 지방에 가시매 귀신 들린 자 둘이 무덤 사이에서 나와 예수를 만나니 그들은 몹시 사나워 아무도 그 길로 지나갈 수 없을 지경이더라
29 이에 그들이 소리 질러 이르되 하나님의 아들이여 우리가 당신과 무슨 상관이 있나이까 때가 이르기 전에 우리를 괴롭게 하려고 여기 오셨나이까 하더니
30 마침 멀리서 많은 돼지 떼가 먹고 있는지라
31 귀신들이 예수께 간구하여 이르되 만일 우리를 쫓아 내시려면 돼지 떼에 들여 보내 주소서 하니
32 그들에게 가라 하시니 귀신들이 나와서 돼지에게로 들어가는지라 온 떼가 비탈로 내리달아 바다에 들어가서 물에서 몰사하거늘
33 치던 자들이 달아나 시내에 들어가 이 모든 일과 귀신 들린 자의 일을 고하니
34 온 시내가 예수를 만나려고 나가서 보고 그 지방에서 떠나시기를 간구하더라
CAPÍTULO 8
Jesús sana a un leproso, cura al siervo de un centurión y a otras personas, calma la tempestad y echa fuera demonios — Los demonios entran en un hato de cerdos.
1 Y cuando Jesús descendió del monte, le seguía mucha gente.
2 Y he aquí vino un aleproso y le adoraba, diciendo: Señor, si quieres, puedes limpiarme.
3 Y extendiendo Jesús su mano, le tocó, diciendo: Quiero; sé limpio. Y al instante su lepra fue alimpiada.
4 Entonces Jesús le dijo: Mira, no lo digas a nadie; sino ve, muéstrate al sacerdote y presenta la ofrenda que mandó Moisés, para testimonio a ellos.
5 Y cuando entró Jesús en Capernaúm, vino a él un centurión, rogándole
6 y diciendo: Señor, mi acriado yace en casa, paralítico, gravemente atormentado.
7 Y Jesús le dijo: Yo iré y le sanaré.
8 Y respondió el centurión y dijo: Señor, no soy adigno de que entres bajo mi techo; mas solamente di la palabra, y mi criado bserá sanado.
9 Porque también yo soy hombre bajo autoridad y tengo soldados bajo mi mando; y digo a este: Ve, y va; y al otro: Ven, y viene; y a mi siervo: Haz esto, y lo hace.
10 Y acuando Jesús lo oyó, se maravilló y dijo a los que le seguían: De cierto os digo que ni aun en Israel he hallado tanta fe.
11 Y os digo que vendrán amuchos del oriente y del occidente, y se sentarán con Abraham, e Isaac y Jacob en el reino de los cielos;
12 mas los ahijos del reino serán echados a las btinieblas de afuera; allí será el cllanto y el crujir de dientes.
13 Entonces Jesús dijo al centurión: Ve, y como creíste te sea hecho. Y su criado fue sanado en aquella misma hora.
14 Y cuando fue Jesús a casa de Pedro, vio a la suegra de este postrada en cama con fiebre.
15 Y le atocó la mano, y la fiebre la dejó; y ella se levantó y les servía.
16 Y cuando era ya tarde, trajeron a él muchos aendemoniados; y echó fuera los demonios con su palabra y sanó a todos los enfermos,
17 para que se cumpliese lo que fue dicho por el profeta Isaías, que dijo: aÉl mismo tomó nuestras enfermedades y llevó nuestras dolencias.
18 Y viendo Jesús mucha gente alrededor de sí, mandó pasar al otro lado.
19 Y acercándose un escriba, le dijo: Maestro, te seguiré adondequiera que vayas.
20 Y Jesús le dijo: Las zorras tienen guaridas, y las aves del cielo, nidos, pero el Hijo del Hombre no tiene dónde recostar la cabeza.
21 Y otro de sus discípulos le dijo: Señor, permíteme que vaya primero y entierre a mi padre.
22 Y Jesús le dijo: Sígueme; deja que alos muertos entierren a sus muertos.
23 Y entrando él en la barca, sus discípulos le siguieron.
24 Y he aquí, se levantó en el mar una gran tempestad, de modo que las olas cubrían la barca; mas él dormía.
25 Y acercándose sus discípulos, le despertaron, diciendo: ¡Señor, sálvanos, que perecemos!
26 Y él les dijo: ¿Por qué teméis, hombres de poca fe? Entonces, levantándose, areprendió a los vientos y al mar, y hubo gran bbonanza.
27 Y los hombres se maravillaron, diciendo: ¿Qué hombre es este, que aun los vientos y ael mar le obedecen?
28 Y cuando él hubo llegado a la otra ribera, al país de los agergesenos, le vinieron al encuentro dos endemoniados que salían de los sepulcros, feroces en gran manera, de modo que nadie podía pasar por aquel camino.
29 Y he aquí, clamaron, diciendo: ¿Qué tenemos que ver contigo, Jesús, Hijo de Dios? ¿Has venido acá para atormentarnos aantes de tiempo?
30 Y estaba paciendo lejos de ellos un hato de muchos cerdos.
31 Y los demonios le rogaron, diciendo: Si nos echas fuera, permítenos ir a aquel hato de cerdos.
32 Y les dijo: Id. Y ellos salieron y se fueron a aquel hato de cerdos; y he aquí, todo el hato de cerdos se precipitó al mar por un despeñadero, y murieron en las aguas.
33 Y los que cuidaban los cerdos huyeron y, viniendo a la ciudad, contaron todas las cosas y lo que había pasado con los endemoniados.
34 Y he aquí, toda la ciudad salió a encontrar a Jesús; y cuando le vieron, le rogaban que saliese de sus contornos.
CHAPTER 8
Jesus heals a leper, cures the centurion’s servant and others, stills the tempest, and casts out devils—The devils enter a herd of swine.
1 When he was come down from the mountain, great multitudes followed him.
2 And, behold, there came a aleper and worshipped him, saying, Lord, if thou wilt, thou canst make me clean.
3 And Jesus put forth his hand, and touched him, saying, I will; be thou clean. And immediately his leprosy was acleansed.
4 And Jesus saith unto him, See thou tell no man; but go thy way, shew thyself to the priest, and offer the gift that Moses commanded, for a testimony unto them.
5 ¶ And when Jesus was entered into Capernaum, there came unto him a centurion, beseeching him,
6 And saying, Lord, my aservant lieth at home sick of the bpalsy, grievously tormented.
7 And Jesus saith unto him, I will come and heal him.
8 The centurion answered and said, Lord, I am not aworthy that thou shouldest come under my roof: but speak the word only, and my servant shall be bhealed.
9 For I am a man under aauthority, having soldiers under me: and I say to this man, Go, and he goeth; and to another, Come, and he cometh; and to my servant, Do this, and he doeth it.
10 aWhen Jesus heard it, he marvelled, and said to them that followed, Verily I say unto you, I have not found so great bfaith, no, not in Israel.
11 And I say unto you, That amany shall come from the east and west, and shall sit down with Abraham, and Isaac, and Jacob, in the kingdom of heaven.
12 But the achildren of the kingdom shall be cast out into bouter darkness: there shall be cweeping and gnashing of teeth.
13 And Jesus said unto the centurion, Go thy way; and as thou hast believed, so be it done unto thee. And his servant was healed in the selfsame hour.
14 ¶ And when Jesus was come into Peter’s house, he saw his awife’s mother blaid, and sick of a fever.
15 And he atouched her hand, and the fever left her: and she arose, and ministered unto them.
16 ¶ When the even was come, they brought unto him many that were possessed with adevils: and he cast out the bspirits with his word, and chealed all that were sick:
17 That it might be fulfilled which was spoken by Esaias the prophet, saying, aHimself took our binfirmities, and bare our csicknesses.
18 ¶ Now when Jesus saw great multitudes about him, he gave commandment to depart unto the other side.
19 And a certain scribe came, and said unto him, Master, I will afollow thee whithersoever thou goest.
20 And Jesus saith unto him, The foxes have holes, and the birds of the air have nests; but the Son of man hath not where to lay his head.
21 And another of his disciples said unto him, Lord, asuffer me first to go and bury my father.
22 But Jesus said unto him, aFollow me; and let the bdead bury their dead.
23 ¶ And when he was entered into a ship, his disciples followed him.
24 And, behold, there arose a great atempest in the sea, insomuch that the ship was covered with the waves: but he was asleep.
25 And his disciples came to him, and awoke him, saying, Lord, save us: we perish.
26 And he saith unto them, Why are ye afearful, O ye of little faith? Then he arose, and brebuked the winds and the sea; and there was a great calm.
27 But the men marvelled, saying, What manner of man is this, that even the winds and the asea obey him!
28 ¶ And when he was come to the other side into the country of the Gergesenes, there met him two possessed with adevils, coming out of the tombs, exceeding fierce, so that no man might pass by that way.
29 And, behold, they cried out, saying, What have we to do with thee, Jesus, thou Son of God? art thou come hither to torment us before athe time?
30 And there was a good way off from them an herd of many swine feeding.
31 So the devils besought him, saying, If thou cast us out, suffer us to go away into the herd of swine.
32 And he said unto them, Go. And when they were come out, they went into the herd of swine: and, behold, the whole herd of swine ran violently down a steep place into the sea, and perished in the waters.
33 And they that kept them fled, and went their ways into the city, and told every thing, and what was befallen to the possessed of the devils.
34 And, behold, the whole city came out to ameet Jesus: and when they saw him, they besought him that he would depart out of their bcoasts.
