제 10 장
열두 제자를 부르시다(막 3:13-19; 눅 6:12-16)
1 예수께서 그의 열두 제자를 부르사 더러운 귀신을 쫓아내며 모든 병과 모든 약한 것을 고치는 권능을 주시니라
열두 제자에게 명하여 이르시다(막 6:7-13; 눅 9:1-6)
2 열두 사도의 이름은 이러하니 베드로라 하는 시몬을 비롯하여 그의 형제 안드레와 세베대의 아들야고보와 그의 형제 요한,
3 빌립과 바돌로매, 도마와 세리 마태, 알패오의 아들야고보와 다대오,
4 1)가나나인 시몬 및 가룟유다 곧 예수를 판 자라
5 예수께서 이 열둘을 내보내시며 명하여 이르시되 이방인의 길로도 가지 말고 사마리아인의 고을에도 들어가지 말고
6 오히려 이스라엘 집의 잃어버린 양에게로 가라
7 가면서 전파하여 말하되 천국이 가까이 왔다 하고
8 병든 자를 고치며 죽은 자를 살리며 나병환자를 깨끗하게 하며 귀신을 쫓아내되 너희가 거저 받았으니 거저 주라
9 너희 전대에 금이나 은이나 동을 가지지 말고
10 여행을 위하여 배낭이나 두 벌 옷이나 신이나 지팡이를 가지지 말라 이는 일꾼이 자기의 먹을 것 받는 것이 마땅함이라
11 어떤 성이나 마을에 들어가든지 그 중에 합당한 자를 찾아내어 너희가 떠나기까지 거기서 머물라
12 또 그 집에 들어가면서 평안하기를 빌라
13 그 집이 이에 합당하면 너희 빈 평안이 거기 임할 것이요 만일 합당하지 아니하면 그 평안이 너희에게 돌아올 것이니라
14 누구든지 너희를 영접하지도 아니하고 너희 말을 듣지도 아니하거든 그 집이나 성에서 나가 너희 발의 먼지를 떨어 버리라
15 내가 진실로 너희에게 이르노니 심판 날에 소돔과 고모라 땅이 그 성보다 견디기 쉬우리라
미움을 받을 것이다(막 13:9-13; 눅 21:12-17)
16 보라 내가 너희를 보냄이 양을 이리 가운데로 보냄과 같도다 그러므로 너희는 뱀 같이 지혜롭고 비둘기 같이 순결하라
17 사람들을 삼가라 그들이 너희를 공회에 넘겨 주겠고 그들의 회당에서 채찍질하리라
18 또 너희가 나로 말미암아 총독들과 임금들 앞에 끌려 가리니 이는 그들과 이방인들에게 증거가 되게 하려 하심이라
19 너희를 넘겨 줄 때에 어떻게 또는 무엇을 말할까 염려하지 말라 그 때에 너희에게 할 말을 주시리니
20 말하는 이는 너희가 아니라 너희 속에서 말씀하시는 이 곧 너희 아버지의 성령이시니라
21 장차 형제가 형제를, 아버지가 자식을 죽는 데에 내주며 자식들이 부모를 대적하여 죽게 하리라
22 또 너희가 내 이름으로 말미암아 모든 사람에게 미움을 받을 것이나 끝까지 견디는 자는 구원을 얻으리라
23 이 동네에서 너희를 박해하거든 저 동네로 피하라 내가 진실로 너희에게 이르노니 이스라엘의 모든 동네를 다 다니지 못하여서 인자가 오리라
두려워할 분을 두려워하라(눅 12:2-9)
24 제자가 그 선생보다, 또는 종이 그 상전보다 높지 못하나니
25 제자가 그 선생 같고 종이 그 상전 같으면 족하도다 집 주인을 바알세불이라 하였거든 하물며 그 집 사람들이랴
26 그런즉 그들을 두려워하지 말라 감추인 것이 드러나지 않을 것이 없고 숨은 것이 알려지지 않을 것이 없느니라
27 내가 너희에게 어두운 데서 이르는 것을 광명한 데서 말하며 너희가 귓속말로 듣는 것을 집 위에서 전파하라
28 몸은 죽여도 영혼은 능히 죽이지 못하는 자들을 두려워하지 말고 오직 몸과 영혼을 능히 지옥에 멸하실 수 있는 이를 두려워하라
29 참새 두 마리가 한 앗사리온에 팔리지 않느냐 그러나 너희 아버지께서 허락하지 아니하시면 그 하나도 땅에 떨어지지 아니하리라
30 너희에게는 머리털까지 다 세신 바 되었나니
31 두려워하지 말라 너희는 많은 참새보다 귀하니라
32 누구든지 사람 앞에서 나를 시인하면 나도 하늘에 계신 내 아버지 앞에서 그를 시인할 것이요
33 누구든지 사람 앞에서 나를 부인하면 나도 하늘에 계신 내 아버지 앞에서 그를 부인하리라
검을 주러 왔다(눅 12:51-53; 14:26-27)
34 내가 세상에 화평을 주러 온 줄로 생각하지 말라 화평이 아니요 검을 주러 왔노라
35 내가 온 것은 사람이 그 아버지와, 딸이 어머니와, 며느리가 시어머니와 불화하게 하려 함이니
36 사람의 원수가 자기 집안 식구리라
37 아버지나 어머니를 나보다 더 사랑하는 자는 내게 합당하지 아니하고 아들이나 딸을 나보다 더 사랑하는 자도 내게 합당하지 아니하며
38 또 자기 십자가를 지고 나를 따르지 않는 자도 내게 합당하지 아니하니라
39 자기 목숨을 얻는 자는 잃을 것이요 나를 위하여 자기 목숨을 잃는 자는 얻으리라
상을 받을 사람(막 9:41)
40 너희를 영접하는 자는 나를 영접하는 것이요 나를 영접하는 자는 나를 보내신 이를 영접하는 것이니라
41 선지자의 이름으로 선지자를 영접하는 자는 선지자의 상을 받을 것이요 의인의 이름으로 의인을 영접하는 자는 의인의 상을 받을 것이요
42 또 누구든지 제자의 이름으로 이 작은 자 중 하나에게 냉수 한 그릇이라도 주는 자는 내가 진실로 너희에게 이르노니 그 사람이 결단코 상을 잃지 아니하리라 하시니라
CAPÍTULO 10
Jesús instruye y autoriza a los Doce Apóstoles y los envía a predicar, ministrar y sanar a los enfermos — Quienes reciben a los Doce, reciben al Señor.
1 Entonces, allamando a sus bdoce discípulos, les dio cautoridad sobre los despíritus inmundos, para que los echasen fuera y esanasen toda fenfermedad y toda dolencia.
2 Y los nombres de los doce apóstoles son estos: el primero, Simón, que es llamado Pedro, y su hermano Andrés; aJacobo hijo de Zebedeo y su hermano Juan;
3 Felipe y Bartolomé; Tomás y Mateo, el apublicano; Jacobo hijo de Alfeo, y Lebeo, por sobrenombre Tadeo;
4 aSimón el Cananita, y bJudas Iscariote, el que además le centregó.
5 A estos doce aenvió Jesús, a los cuales dio mandamiento, diciendo: Por camino de gentiles no vayáis, y en ciudad de bsamaritanos no entréis;
6 sino id antes a las ovejas perdidas de la casa de Israel.
7 Y yendo, predicad, diciendo: El reino de los cielos ase ha acercado.
8 Sanad enfermos, limpiad leprosos, resucitad muertos, echad fuera demonios; ade gracia recibisteis, dad de gracia.
9 No llevéis oro, ni plata, ni cobre en vuestras abolsas;
10 ni alforja para el camino, ni dos ropas de vestir, ni calzado ni bordón, porque el obrero es digno de su alimento.
11 Mas en cualquier ciudad o aldea donde entréis, averiguad quién es digno en ella y reposad allí hasta que salgáis.
12 Y al entrar en la casa, saludad.
13 Y si la casa fuere digna, vuestra paz vendrá sobre ella; mas si no fuere digna, vuestra paz se volverá a vosotros.
14 Y si alguno no os recibiere ni oyere vuestras palabras, asalid de aquella casa o ciudad y bsacudid el polvo de vuestros pies.
15 De cierto os digo que en el día del juicio el castigo será más tolerable para la tierra de aSodoma y de Gomorra que para aquella ciudad.
16 He aquí, yo os envío como a ovejas en medio de lobos; sed, pues, aprudentes como serpientes y bsencillos como palomas.
17 Y guardaos de los hombres, porque os entregarán a los concilios y os azotarán en sus sinagogas;
18 y aun ante gobernantes y ante areyes seréis llevados bpor causa de mí, cpara testimonio a ellos y a los gentiles.
19 Pero cuando os entreguen, no os preocupéis de cómo o de qué hablaréis, porque en aquella hora os será dado lo que habéis de ahablar.
20 Pues no sois vosotros los que habláis, sino el aEspíritu de vuestro Padre que habla en vosotros.
21 Y el hermano entregará a la muerte al hermano, y el padre al hijo; y los hijos se levantarán contra los padres y los harán morir.
22 Y seréis aaborrecidos por todos por causa de mi nombre; pero el que bpersevere hasta el fin, este será salvo.
23 Mas cuando os persigan en esta ciudad, huid a la otra; porque de cierto os digo que no acabaréis de recorrer todas las ciudades de Israel antes que venga el Hijo del Hombre.
24 El adiscípulo no es más que su maestro, ni el siervo más que su señor.
25 Bástale al discípulo aser como su maestro y al siervo como su señor. Si al padre de familia llamaron Beelzebú, ¿cuánto más a los de su casa?
26 Así que, no los temáis, porque nada hay aencubierto que no haya de ser manifestado, ni oculto que no haya de saberse.
27 Lo que os digo en la oscuridad, decidlo a plena luz; y lo que oís al oído, proclamadlo desde las azoteas.
28 Y no atemáis a los que matan el cuerpo pero no pueden matar al alma; más bien temed a aquel que puede destruir el balma y el cuerpo en el cinfierno.
29 ¿No se venden dos pajarillos por un cuarto? Con todo, ni uno de ellos cae a tierra sin saberlo vuestro Padre.
30 Pues aun vuestros cabellos están todos contados.
31 Así que no temáis; más avaléis vosotros que muchos pajarillos.
32 A cualquiera, pues, que me aconfiese delante de los hombres, yo también le confesaré delante de mi Padre que está en los cielos.
33 Y a cualquiera que me aniegue delante de los hombres, yo también le negaré delante de mi Padre que está en los cielos.
34 No penséis que he venido para traer apaz a la tierra; no he venido para traer paz, sino espada.
35 Porque he venido para poner en disensión al hombre contra su padre, y a la hija contra su madre y a la nuera contra su suegra.
36 Y los aenemigos del hombre serán los de su casa.
37 El que aama al padre o a la madre más que a mí, no es digno de mí; y el que ama al hijo o a la hija más que a mí, no es digno de mí.
38 Y el que no toma su acruz y sigue en pos de mí no es bdigno de mí.
39 aEl que halla su vida, bla perderá; y el que cpierde su dvida por causa de mí, la hallará.
40 El que os arecibe a vosotros, a mí me recibe; y el que a mí me recibe, recibe al que me envió.
41 El que recibe a un profeta porque es profeta, arecompensa de profeta recibirá; y el que recibe a un justo porque es justo, recompensa de justo recibirá.
42 Y cualquiera que dé a uno de estos pequeñitos un vaso de agua fría solamente, porque es adiscípulo, de cierto os digo que no bperderá su recompensa.
CHAPTER 10
Jesus instructs and empowers the Twelve Apostles and sends them forth to preach, minister, and heal the sick—Those who receive the Twelve receive the Lord.
1 And when he had acalled unto him his btwelve disciples, he gave them cpower against dunclean spirits, to cast them out, and to eheal all manner of fsickness and all manner of disease.
2 Now the names of the twelve apostles are these; The first, Simon, who is called Peter, and Andrew his brother; James the son of Zebedee, and John his brother;
3 Philip, and Bartholomew; Thomas, and Matthew the apublican; James the son of Alphæus, and Lebbæus, whose surname was Thaddæus;
4 Simon the Canaanite, and Judas Iscariot, who also abetrayed him.
5 These twelve Jesus asent forth, and commanded them, saying, Go not into the way of the Gentiles, and into any city of the bSamaritans enter ye not:
6 But go rather to the alost bsheep of the house of Israel.
7 And as ye go, preach, saying, The kingdom of heaven ais at hand.
8 aHeal the sick, cleanse the blepers, raise the dead, ccast out devils: dfreely ye have received, freely egive.
9 Provide neither gold, nor silver, nor brass in your apurses,
10 Nor ascrip for your journey, neither two coats, neither shoes, nor yet staves: for the workman is bworthy of his cmeat.
11 And into whatsoever city or town ye shall aenter, inquire who in it is worthy; and there abide till ye go thence.
12 And when ye come into an house, salute it.
13 And if the house be worthy, let your peace come upon it: but if it be not worthy, let your peace return to you.
14 And whosoever shall not receive you, nor hear your words, when ye depart out of that house or city, shake off the adust of your bfeet.
15 Verily I say unto you, It shall be more tolerable for the land of aSodom and Gomorrha in the day of judgment, than for that city.
16 ¶ Behold, I send you forth as asheep in the midst of wolves: be ye therefore bwise as serpents, and charmless as doves.
17 But beware of men: for they will deliver you up to the councils, and they will scourge you in their synagogues;
18 And ye shall be brought before governors and akings bfor my sake, for a ctestimony against them and the Gentiles.
19 But when they deliver you up, atake no thought how or what ye shall speak: for it shall be given you in that same hour what ye shall bspeak.
20 For it is not ye that speak, but the aSpirit of your Father which speaketh in you.
21 And the brother shall deliver up the brother to death, and the father the child: and the children shall rise up against their parents, and cause them to be put to death.
22 And ye shall be ahated of all men bfor my cname’s sake: but he that dendureth to the end shall be saved.
23 But when they persecute you in this city, flee ye into another: for verily I say unto you, Ye shall not have gone over the cities of Israel, till the Son of man be come.
24 The adisciple is not above his master, nor the servant above his lord.
25 It is enough for the disciple athat he be as his master, and the servant as his lord. If they have called the master of the house Beelzebub, how much more shall they call them of his household?
26 Fear them not therefore: for there is nothing acovered, that shall not be revealed; and hid, that shall not be known.
27 What I tell you in darkness, that speak ye in light: and what ye hear in the ear, that preach ye upon the housetops.
28 And afear not them which kill the body, but are not able to kill the soul: but rather bfear him which is able to cdestroy both dsoul and body in ehell.
29 Are not two asparrows sold for a farthing? and one of them shall not fall on the ground without your Father.
30 But the very ahairs of your head are all numbered.
31 Fear ye not therefore, ye are of more avalue than many bsparrows.
32 Whosoever therefore shall aconfess me before men, him will I confess also before my Father which is in heaven.
33 But whosoever shall adeny me before men, him will I also deny before my Father which is in heaven.
34 Think not that I am come to send apeace on earth: I came not to send peace, but a sword.
35 For I am come to set a man at variance against his father, and the daughter against her mother, and the daughter in law against her mother in law.
36 And a man’s afoes shall be they of his own bhousehold.
37 He that aloveth father or mother bmore than me is not worthy of me: and he that cloveth son or daughter more than me is not worthy of me.
38 And he that taketh not his across, and followeth after me, is not bworthy of me.
39 aHe that findeth his life shall blose it: and he that closeth his dlife for my sake shall find it.
40 ¶ He that areceiveth you breceiveth me, and he that receiveth me receiveth him that sent me.
41 He that areceiveth a prophet in the name of a prophet shall receive a prophet’s breward; and he that receiveth a righteous man in the name of a righteous man shall receive a righteous man’s reward.
42 And whosoever shall give to drink unto one of these little ones a cup of cold water only in the aname of a disciple, verily I say unto you, he shall in no wise blose his reward.
