제 25 장
열 처녀 비유
1 그 때에 천국은 마치 등을 들고 신랑을 맞으러 나간 열 처녀와 같다 하리니
2 그 중의 다섯은 미련하고 다섯은 슬기 있는 자라
3 미련한 자들은 등을 가지되 기름을 가지지 아니하고
4 슬기 있는 자들은 그릇에 기름을 담아 등과 함께 가져갔더니
5 신랑이 더디 오므로 다 졸며 잘새
6 밤중에 소리가 나되 보라 신랑이로다 맞으러 나오라 하매
7 이에 그 처녀들이 다 일어나 등을 준비할새
8 미련한 자들이 슬기 있는 자들에게 이르되 우리 등불이 꺼져가니 너희 기름을 좀 나눠 달라 하거늘
9 슬기 있는 자들이 대답하여 이르되 우리와 너희가 쓰기에 다 부족할까 하노니 차라리 파는 자들에게 가서 너희 쓸 것을 사라 하니
10 그들이 사러 간 사이에 신랑이 오므로 준비하였던 자들은 함께 혼인 잔치에 들어가고 문은 닫힌지라
11 그 후에 남은 처녀들이 와서 이르되 주여 주여 우리에게 열어 주소서
12 대답하여 이르되 진실로 너희에게 이르노니 내가 너희를 알지 못하노라 하였느니라
13 그런즉 깨어 있으라 너희는 그 날과 그 때를 알지 못하느니라
달란트 비유(눅 19:11-27)
14 또 어떤 사람이 타국에 갈 때 그 종들을 불러 자기 소유를 맡김과 같으니
15 각각 그 재능대로 한 사람에게는 금 다섯 1)달란트를, 한 사람에게는 두 1)달란트를, 한 사람에게는 한 1)달란트를 주고 떠났더니
16 다섯 1)달란트 받은 자는 바로 가서 그것으로 장사하여 또 다섯 1)달란트를 남기고
17 두 1)달란트 받은 자도 그같이 하여 또 두 1)달란트를 남겼으되
18 한 1)달란트 받은 자는 가서 땅을 파고 그 주인의 돈을 감추어 두었더니
19 오랜 후에 그 종들의 주인이 돌아와 그들과 결산할새
20 다섯 1)달란트 받았던 자는 다섯 1)달란트를 더 가지고 와서 이르되 주인이여 내게 다섯 1)달란트를 주셨는데 보소서 내가 또 다섯 1)달란트를 남겼나이다
21 그 주인이 이르되 잘하였도다 착하고 충성된 종아 네가 적은 일에 충성하였으매 내가 많은 것을 네게 맡기리니 네 주인의 즐거움에 참여할지어다 하고
22 두 1)달란트 받았던 자도 와서 이르되 주인이여 내게 두 1)달란트를 주셨는데 보소서 내가 또 두 1)달란트를 남겼나이다
23 그 주인이 이르되 잘하였도다 착하고 충성된 종아 네가 적은 일에 충성하였으매 내가 많은 것을 네게 맡기리니 네 주인의 즐거움에 참여할지어다 하고
24 한 1)달란트 받았던 자는 와서 이르되 주인이여 당신은 굳은 사람이라 심지 않은 데서 거두고 헤치지 않은 데서 모으는 줄을 내가 알았으므로
25 두려워하여 나가서 당신의 1)달란트를 땅에 감추어 두었었나이다 보소서 당신의 것을 가지셨나이다
26 그 주인이 대답하여 이르되 악하고 게으른 종아 나는 심지 않은 데서 거두고 헤치지 않은 데서 모으는 줄로 네가 알았느냐
27 그러면 네가 마땅히 내 돈을 취리하는 자들에게나 맡겼다가 내가 돌아와서 내 원금과 이자를 받게 하였을 것이니라 하고
28 그에게서 그 한 1)달란트를 빼앗아 열 1)달란트 가진 자에게 주라
29 무릇 있는 자는 받아 풍족하게 되고 없는 자는 그 있는 것까지 빼앗기리라
30 이 무익한 종을 바깥 어두운 데로 내쫓으라 거기서 슬피 울며 이를 갈리라 하니라
인자가 모든 천사와 함께 올 때
31 인자가 자기 영광으로 모든 천사와 함께 올 때에 자기 영광의 보좌에 앉으리니
32 모든 민족을 그 앞에 모으고 각각 구분하기를 목자가 양과 염소를 구분하는 것 같이 하여
33 양은 그 오른편에 염소는 왼편에 두리라
34 그 때에 임금이 그 오른편에 있는 자들에게 이르시되 내 아버지께 복 받을 자들이여 나아와 창세로부터 너희를 위하여 예비된 나라를 상속받으라
35 내가 주릴 때에 너희가 먹을 것을 주었고 목마를 때에 마시게 하였고 나그네 되었을 때에 영접하였고
36 헐벗었을 때에 옷을 입혔고 병들었을 때에 돌보았고 옥에 갇혔을 때에 와서 보았느니라
37 이에 의인들이 대답하여 이르되 주여 우리가 어느 때에 주께서 주리신 것을 보고 음식을 대접하였으며 목마르신 것을 보고 마시게 하였나이까
38 어느 때에 나그네 되신 것을 보고 영접하였으며 헐벗으신 것을 보고 옷 입혔나이까
39 어느 때에 병드신 것이나 옥에 갇히신 것을 보고 가서 뵈었나이까 하리니
40 임금이 대답하여 이르시되 내가 진실로 너희에게 이르노니 너희가 여기 내 형제 중에 지극히 작은 자 하나에게 한 것이 곧 내게 한 것이니라 하시고
41 또 왼편에 있는 자들에게 이르시되 저주를 받은 자들아 나를 떠나 마귀와 그 사자들을 위하여 예비된 영원한 불에 들어가라
42 내가 주릴 때에 너희가 먹을 것을 주지 아니하였고 목마를 때에 마시게 하지 아니하였고
43 나그네 되었을 때에 영접하지 아니하였고 헐벗었을 때에 옷 입히지 아니하였고 병들었을 때와 옥에 갇혔을 때에 돌보지 아니하였느니라 하시니
44 그들도 대답하여 이르되 주여 우리가 어느 때에 주께서 주리신 것이나 목마르신 것이나 나그네 되신 것이나 헐벗으신 것이나 병드신 것이나 옥에 갇히신 것을 보고 공양하지 아니하더이까
45 이에 임금이 대답하여 이르시되 내가 진실로 너희에게 이르노니 이 지극히 작은 자 하나에게 하지 아니한 것이 곧 내게 하지 아니한 것이니라 하시리니
46 그들은 영벌에, 의인들은 영생에 들어가리라 하시니라
CAPÍTULO 25
Jesús enseña la parábola de las diez vírgenes, la de los talentos, y la de las ovejas y los cabritos.
1 aEntonces el reino de los cielos será semejante a diez bvírgenes que, tomando sus lámparas, salieron a recibir al cnovio.
2 Y cinco de ellas eran prudentes y cinco insensatas.
3 Las insensatas, tomando sus lámparas, no tomaron consigo aaceite;
4 mas las prudentes tomaron aceite en sus vasijas, juntamente con sus lámparas.
5 Y tardándose el novio, cabecearon todas y se durmieron.
6 Y a la medianoche se oyó un clamor: He aquí el novio viene; salid a recibirle.
7 Entonces todas aquellas vírgenes se levantaron y arreglaron sus alámparas.
8 Y las insensatas dijeron a las prudentes: Dadnos de vuestro aceite, porque nuestras lámparas se apagan.
9 Pero las prudentes respondieron, diciendo: Para que no nos falte a nosotras y a vosotras, id más bien a los que venden y comprad para vosotras mismas.
10 Y mientras ellas iban a comprar, vino el novio; y las que estaban apreparadas entraron con él a las bodas; y se bcerró la puerta.
11 Y después vinieron también las otras vírgenes, diciendo: ¡Señor, Señor, ábrenos!
12 Mas respondiendo él, dijo: aDe cierto os digo que bno os conozco.
13 Velad, pues, porque no sabéis el día ni la hora en que el Hijo del Hombre ha de venir.
14 Porque el reino de los cielos es como un hombre que, partiendo lejos, llamó a sus siervos y les encomendó sus bienes.
15 Y a uno dio cinco atalentos, y al otro dos, y al otro uno, a cada uno conforme a su capacidad; y luego se fue lejos.
16 Y el que había recibido cinco talentos fue y negoció con ellos, y ganó otros cinco talentos.
17 Asimismo, el que había recibido dos, ganó también otros dos.
18 Pero el que había recibido uno fue y cavó en la tierra, y escondió el dinero de su señor.
19 Y después de mucho tiempo, volvió el señor de aquellos siervos e ahizo cuentas con ellos.
20 Y llegando el que había recibido cinco talentos, trajo otros cinco talentos, diciendo: Señor, cinco talentos me encomendaste; he aquí, he ganado otros cinco talentos sobre ellos.
21 Y su señor le dijo: Bien, buen asiervo y fiel; sobre poco has sido bfiel, sobre mucho cte pondré; entra en el dgozo de tu señor.
22 Y llegando también el que había recibido dos talentos, dijo: Señor, dos talentos me encomendaste; he aquí, he ganado otros dos talentos sobre ellos.
23 Su señor le dijo: Bien, buen siervo y fiel; sobre poco has sido fiel, sobre mucho te pondré; entra en el gozo de tu señor.
24 Y llegando también el que había recibido un talento, dijo: Señor, te conocía que eres hombre aduro, que siegas donde no sembraste y recoges donde no esparciste;
25 y tuve miedo, y fui y aescondí tu talento en la tierra; aquí tienes lo que es tuyo.
26 Y respondiendo su señor, le dijo: Siervo malo y negligente, sabías que siego donde no sembré y que recojo donde no esparcí;
27 por tanto, debías haber dado mi dinero a los banqueros y, al venir yo, hubiera recibido lo que es mío con intereses.
28 Quitadle, pues, el talento y dadlo al que tiene diez talentos.
29 Porque al que tiene, le será dado y tendrá más; y al que no tiene, aun lo que tiene le será aquitado.
30 Y al siervo inútil echadle en las tinieblas de afuera; allí será el llanto y el crujir de dientes.
31 Y cuando el aHijo del Hombre venga en su bgloria y todos los santos ángeles con él, entonces se sentará sobre el trono de su gloria.
32 Y serán reunidas delante de él todas las naciones; entonces aapartará los unos de los otros, como aparta el bpastor las ovejas de los cabritos.
33 Y pondrá las ovejas a su aderecha, y los cabritos a la izquierda.
34 Entonces el Rey dirá a los que estén a su derecha: Venid, benditos de mi Padre, aheredad el reino preparado para vosotros desde la fundación del mundo.
35 Porque tuve hambre, y me disteis de comer; tuve sed, y me disteis de beber; fui forastero, y me recogisteis;
36 estuve desnudo, y me cubristeis; aenfermo, y me bvisitasteis; estuve en la cárcel, y vinisteis a mí.
37 Entonces los justos le responderán, diciendo: Señor, ¿cuándo te vimos hambriento y te sustentamos?, ¿o sediento y te dimos de beber?
38 ¿Y cuándo te vimos forastero y te recogimos?, ¿o desnudo y te cubrimos?
39 ¿O cuándo te vimos enfermo o en la cárcel, y fuimos a verte?
40 Y respondiendo el Rey, les dirá: De cierto os digo que en cuanto lo ahicisteis a uno de estos, mis hermanos más pequeños, a mí lo hicisteis.
41 Entonces dirá también a los que estén a la aizquierda: Apartaos de mí, bmalditos, al fuego eterno preparado para el diablo y sus ángeles.
42 Porque tuve hambre, y no me disteis de comer; tuve sed, y no me disteis de beber;
43 fui forastero, y no me recogisteis; estuve desnudo, y no me cubristeis; enfermo y en la cárcel, y no me visitasteis.
44 Entonces también ellos le responderán, diciendo: Señor, ¿cuándo te vimos hambriento, o sediento, o forastero, o desnudo, o enfermo o en la cárcel, y no te servimos?
45 Entonces les responderá, diciendo: De cierto os digo que en cuanto no lo hicisteis a uno de estos más apequeños, tampoco a mí lo hicisteis.
46 E irán estos al atormento eterno, y los bjustos a la cvida eterna.
CHAPTER 25
Jesus gives the parables of the ten virgins, the talents, and the sheep and the goats.
1 aThen shall the kingdom of heaven be likened unto ten bvirgins, which took their clamps, and went forth to meet the bridegroom.
2 And five of them were wise, and five were foolish.
3 They that were foolish took their lamps, and took no oil with them:
4 But the wise took oil in their vessels with their lamps.
5 While the bridegroom tarried, they all aslumbered and bslept.
6 And at midnight there was a cry made, Behold, the abridegroom cometh; go ye out to meet him.
7 Then all those virgins arose, and trimmed their alamps.
8 And the foolish said unto the wise, Give us of your oil; for our lamps aare gone out.
9 But the wise answered, saying, Not so; lest there be not enough for us and you: but go ye rather to them that sell, and buy for yourselves.
10 And while they went to buy, the bridegroom came; and they that were aready went in with him to the marriage: and the door was bshut.
11 Afterward came also the other virgins, saying, Lord, Lord, open to us.
12 But he answered and said, aVerily I say unto you, I bknow you not.
13 aWatch therefore, for ye know neither the day nor the hour wherein the Son of man cometh.
14 ¶ For the kingdom of heaven is as a man travelling into a far country, who called his own servants, and delivered unto them his goods.
15 And unto one he agave five btalents, to another two, and to another one; to every man according to his several ability; and straightway took his journey.
16 Then he that had received the five talents went and traded with the same, and made them other five talents.
17 And likewise he that had received two, he also gained other two.
18 But he that had received one went and digged in the earth, and hid his lord’s money.
19 After a long time the lord of those servants cometh, and areckoneth with them.
20 And so he that had received five talents came and brought other five talents, saying, Lord, thou adeliveredst unto me five talents: behold, I have gained beside them five talents more.
21 His lord said unto him, Well done, thou good and faithful aservant: thou hast been bfaithful over a few things, I will make thee cruler over many things: enter thou into the djoy of thy lord.
22 He also that had received two talents came and said, Lord, thou deliveredst unto me two talents: behold, I have gained two other talents beside them.
23 His lord said unto him, Well done, good and afaithful servant; thou hast been faithful over a few things, I will make thee ruler over many things: enter thou into the joy of thy lord.
24 Then he which had received the one talent came and said, Lord, I knew thee that thou art an ahard man, reaping where thou hast not sown, and gathering where thou hast not strawed:
25 And I was aafraid, and went and hid thy talent in the earth: lo, there thou hast that is thine.
26 His lord answered and said unto him, Thou wicked and aslothful servant, thou knewest that I breap where I sowed not, and gather where I have not strawed:
27 Thou oughtest therefore to have put my money to the exchangers, and then at my coming I should have received mine own with ausury.
28 Take therefore the atalent from him, and give it unto him which hath ten talents.
29 For unto every one that hath shall be agiven, and he shall have babundance: but from him that hath not shall be ctaken away even that which he hath.
30 And cast ye the unprofitable servant into outer darkness: there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth.
31 ¶ When the aSon of man shall come in his bglory, and all the holy angels with him, then shall he sit upon the throne of his glory:
32 And before him shall be gathered all anations: and he shall bseparate them one from another, as a cshepherd divideth his dsheep from the goats:
33 And he shall set the sheep on his aright hand, but the goats on the left.
34 Then shall the King say unto them on his aright hand, Come, ye bblessed of my Father, cinherit the dkingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world:
35 For I was an ahungred, and ye bgave me meat: I was thirsty, and ye gave me drink: I was a cstranger, and ye took me in:
36 Naked, and ye clothed me: I was sick, and ye avisited me: I was in bprison, and ye came unto me.
37 Then shall the righteous answer him, saying, Lord, when saw we thee an hungred, and fed thee? or thirsty, and gave thee drink?
38 When saw we thee a stranger, and took thee in? or naked, and clothed thee?
39 Or when saw we thee asick, or in prison, and came unto thee?
40 And the King shall answer and say unto them, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye have adone it unto one of the bleast of these my cbrethren, ye have done it unto me.
41 Then shall he say also unto them on the aleft hand, bDepart from me, ye ccursed, into everlasting dfire, eprepared for the devil and his angels:
42 For I was an ahungred, and ye gave me no meat: I was thirsty, and ye gave me no drink:
43 I was a stranger, and ye took me not in: naked, and ye clothed me not: sick, and in prison, and ye visited me not.
44 Then shall they also answer him, saying, Lord, when saw we thee an hungred, or athirst, or a stranger, or naked, or sick, or in prison, and did not minister unto thee?
45 Then shall he answer them, saying, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye did it not to one of the aleast of these, ye did it not to me.
46 And these shall go away into aeverlasting bpunishment: but the crighteous into dlife eeternal.
