제 4 장
네 가지 땅에 떨어진 씨 비유(마 13:1-9; 눅 8:4-8)
1 예수께서 다시 바닷가에서 가르치시니 큰 무리가 모여들거늘 예수께서 바다에 떠 있는 배에 올라 앉으시고 온 무리는 바닷가 육지에 있더라
2 이에 예수께서 여러 가지를 비유로 가르치시니 그 가르치시는 중에 그들에게 이르시되
3 들으라 씨를 뿌리는 자가 뿌리러 나가서
4 뿌릴새 더러는 길 가에 떨어지매 새들이 와서 먹어 버렸고
5 더러는 흙이 얕은 돌밭에 떨어지매 흙이 깊지 아니하므로 곧 싹이 나오나
6 해가 돋은 후에 타서 뿌리가 없으므로 말랐고
7 더러는 가시떨기에 떨어지매 가시가 자라 기운을 막으므로 결실하지 못하였고
8 더러는 좋은 땅에 떨어지매 자라 무성하여 결실하였으니 삼십 배나 육십 배나 백 배가 되었느니라 하시고
9 또 이르시되 들을 귀 있는 자는 들으라 하시니라
비유를 설명하시다(마 13:10-23; 눅 8:9-15)
10 예수께서 홀로 계실 때에 함께 한 사람들이 열두 제자와 더불어 그 비유들에 대하여 물으니
11 이르시되 하나님 나라의 비밀을 너희에게는 주었으나 외인에게는 모든 것을 비유로 하나니
12 이는 ㄱ)그들로 보기는 보아도 알지 못하며 듣기는 들어도 깨닫지 못하게 하여 돌이켜 죄 사함을 얻지 못하게 하려 함이라 하시고
13 또 이르시되 너희가 이 비유를 알지 못할진대 어떻게 모든 비유를 알겠느냐
14 뿌리는 자는 말씀을 뿌리는 것이라
15 말씀이 길 가에 뿌려졌다는 것은 이들을 가리킴이니 곧 말씀을 들었을 때에 사탄이 즉시 와서 그들에게 뿌려진 말씀을 빼앗는 것이요
16 또 이와 같이 돌밭에 뿌려졌다는 것은 이들을 가리킴이니 곧 말씀을 들을 때에 즉시 기쁨으로 받으나
17 그 속에 뿌리가 없어 잠깐 견디다가 말씀으로 인하여 환난이나 박해가 일어나는 때에는 곧 넘어지는 자요
18 또 어떤 이는 가시떨기에 뿌려진 자니 이들은 말씀을 듣기는 하되
19 세상의 염려와 재물의 유혹과 기타 욕심이 들어와 말씀을 막아 결실하지 못하게 되는 자요
20 좋은 땅에 뿌려졌다는 것은 곧 말씀을 듣고 받아 삼십 배나 육십 배나 백 배의 결실을 하는 자니라
등불은 등경 위에(눅 8:16-18)
21 또 그들에게 이르시되 사람이 등불을 가져오는 것은 말 아래에나 평상 아래에 두려 함이냐 등경 위에 두려 함이 아니냐
22 드러내려 하지 않고는 숨긴 것이 없고 나타내려 하지 않고는 감추인 것이 없느니라
23 들을 귀 있는 자는 들으라
24 또 이르시되 너희가 무엇을 듣는가 스스로 삼가라 너희의 헤아리는 그 헤아림으로 너희가 헤아림을 받을 것이며 더 받으리니
25 있는 자는 받을 것이요 없는 자는 그 있는 것까지도 빼앗기리라
자라나는 씨 비유(마 13:31-32; 눅 13:18-19)
26 또 이르시되 하나님의 나라는 사람이 씨를 땅에 뿌림과 같으니
27 그가 밤낮 자고 깨고 하는 중에 씨가 나서 자라되 어떻게 그리 되는지를 알지 못하느니라
28 땅이 스스로 열매를 맺되 처음에는 싹이요 다음에는 이삭이요 그 다음에는 이삭에 충실한 곡식이라
29 열매가 익으면 곧 낫을 대나니 이는 추수 때가 이르렀음이라
겨자씨 비유(마 13:31-32; 눅 13:18-19)
30 또 이르시되 우리가 하나님의 나라를 어떻게 비교하며 또 무슨 비유로 나타낼까
31 겨자씨 한 알과 같으니 땅에 심길 때에는 땅 위의 모든 씨보다 작은 것이로되
32 심긴 후에는 자라서 모든 풀보다 커지며 큰 가지를 내나니 공중의 새들이 그 그늘에 깃들일 만큼 되느니라
비유로 가르치시다(마 13:34-35)
33 예수께서 이러한 많은 비유로 그들이 알아 들을 수 있는 대로 말씀을 가르치시되
34 비유가 아니면 말씀하지 아니하시고 다만 혼자 계실 때에 그 제자들에게 모든 것을 해석하시더라
바람과 바다를 잔잔하게 하시다(마 8:23-27; 눅 8:22-25)
35 그 날 저물 때에 제자들에게 이르시되 우리가 저편으로 건너가자 하시니
36 그들이 무리를 떠나 예수를 배에 계신 그대로 모시고 가매 다른 배들도 함께 하더니
37 큰 광풍이 일어나며 물결이 배에 부딪쳐 들어와 배에 가득하게 되었더라
38 예수께서는 고물에서 베개를 베고 주무시더니 제자들이 깨우며 이르되 선생님이여 우리가 죽게 된 것을 돌보지 아니하시나이까 하니
39 예수께서 깨어 바람을 꾸짖으시며 바다더러 이르시되 잠잠하라 고요하라 하시니 바람이 그치고 아주 잔잔하여지더라
40 이에 제자들에게 이르시되 어찌하여 이렇게 무서워하느냐 너희가 1)어찌 믿음이 없느냐 하시니
41 그들이 심히 두려워하여 서로 말하되 그가 누구이기에 바람과 바다도 순종하는가 하였더라
CAPÍTULO 4
Jesús enseña las parábolas del sembrador, de la luz debajo del almud, de la semilla que crece en secreto y del grano de mostaza — Jesús calma la tempestad.
1 Y otra vez comenzó a enseñar junto al amar, y se reunió alrededor de él tanta gente, que entró él en una barca y se sentó en ella; y toda la gente estaba en tierra junto al mar.
2 Y les enseñaba por parábolas muchas cosas; y les decía en su adoctrina:
3 Oíd: He aquí, el asembrador salió a sembrar.
4 Y aconteció, al sembrar, que una parte cayó junto al camino, y vinieron las aves del cielo y se la comieron.
5 Y otra parte cayó en pedregales, donde no había mucha tierra; y brotó pronto, porque la tierra no era profunda.
6 Pero cuando salió el sol, se quemó; y por cuanto no tenía raíz, se secó.
7 Y otra parte cayó entre espinos; y crecieron los espinos y la ahogaron, y no dio fruto.
8 Y otra parte cayó en buena tierra, y dio fruto que brotó y creció; y dio a treinta, y a sesenta y a ciento por uno.
9 Entonces les dijo: El que tiene oídos para oír, oiga.
10 Y cuando estuvo asolo, los que estaban cerca de él, con los doce, le preguntaron sobre la parábola.
11 Y les dijo: A vosotros os es dado saber el amisterio del reino de Dios; mas a los que están fuera, por bparábolas reciben todas las cosas,
12 para que viendo, vean y ano perciban; y oyendo, oigan y no entiendan; no sea que se conviertan y les sean perdonados los pecados.
13 Y les dijo: ¿No conocéis esta parábola? ¿Cómo, pues, entenderéis todas las parábolas?
14 El sembrador es el que siembra la palabra.
15 Y estos son los de junto al camino en los que se siembra la palabra; mas después que la han oído, inmediatamente viene aSatanás y quita la palabra que se sembró en sus corazones.
16 Y de igual manera, estos son los que son sembrados en pedregales, los que cuando han oído la palabra, enseguida la atoman con gozo;
17 pero no tienen raíz en sí, sino que son temporales; y cuando viene la atribulación o la bpersecución por causa de la palabra, enseguida tropiezan.
18 Y estos son los que son sembrados entre espinos, los que oyen la palabra,
19 pero los afanes de este mundo, y el engaño de las ariquezas, y las bcodicias de otras cosas entran y ahogan la palabra, y esta se hace infructuosa.
20 Y estos son los que son sembrados en buena tierra, los que oyen la palabra, y la reciben y dan fruto, a treinta, a sesenta y a ciento por uno.
21 También les dijo: ¿Acaso se trae la aluz para ponerla debajo del almud o debajo de la cama? ¿No es para ponerla en el candelero?
22 Porque no hay nada oculto que no haya de ser manifestado, ni nada secreto que no haya de descubrirse.
23 aSi alguno tiene oídos para oír, oiga.
24 Les dijo también: Atended a lo que oís; porque con la medida que medís, os será medido, ay a vosotros los que oís, os será añadido.
25 aPorque al que tiene, le será dado; y al que no tiene, aun lo que tiene le será bquitado.
26 Decía además: Así es el reino de Dios, como cuando un hombre echa semilla en la tierra;
27 y duerme y se levanta, de noche y de día, y la semilla brota y acrece sin que él sepa cómo.
28 Porque de sí fructifica la tierra: primero hierba, luego espiga, después grano lleno en la espiga;
29 y cuando el fruto se produce, enseguida se mete la hoz, porque la asiega ha llegado.
30 Y decía: ¿A qué haremos semejante el reino de Dios? ¿O con qué parábola lo compararemos?
31 Es como el grano de mostaza que, cuando se siembra en tierra, es la más pequeña de todas las semillas que hay en la tierra;
32 mas después de sembrado, crece y se hace la mayor de todas las hortalizas, y echa grandes ramas, de tal manera que las aves del cielo pueden morar bajo su sombra.
33 Y con muchas parábolas semejantes les hablaba la palabra, conforme a lo que podían aoír.
34 Y sin parábolas no les hablaba; mas a sus discípulos en privado les declaraba todo.
35 Y les dijo aquel día cuando anochecía: Pasemos al otro lado.
36 Y despidiendo a la multitud, le llevaron así como estaba en la barca; y había también con él otras barcas.
37 Entonces se levantó una gran tempestad de viento, y echaba las olas en la barca, de tal manera que ya se anegaba.
38 Y él estaba en la popa, durmiendo sobre un cabezal, y le despertaron y le dijeron: Maestro, ¿no tienes cuidado que perecemos?
39 Y levantándose, reprendió al viento y dijo al mar: ¡aCalla, enmudece! Y cesó el viento y se hizo grande bbonanza.
40 Y a ellos les dijo: ¿Por qué estáis así aamedrentados? ¿Cómo no tenéis bfe?
41 Y tuvieron gran temor y se decían el uno al otro: ¿aQuién es este, que aun el viento y el mar le obedecen?
CHAPTER 4
Jesus gives the parables of the sower, the candle under a bushel, the seed growing secretly, and the mustard seed—He stills the tempest.
1 And he began again to teach by the asea side: and there was gathered unto him a great multitude, so that he entered into a ship, and sat in the sea; and the whole multitude was by the sea on the land.
2 And he taught them many things by parables, and said unto them in his adoctrine,
3 Hearken; Behold, there went out a asower to sow:
4 And it came to pass, as he sowed, some fell by the way side, and the fowls of the air came and devoured it up.
5 And some fell on stony ground, where it had not much earth; and immediately it sprang up, because it had no depth of earth:
6 But when the sun was up, it was scorched; and because it had no root, it withered away.
7 And some fell among thorns, and the thorns grew up, and choked it, and it yielded no fruit.
8 And other fell on good ground, and did yield fruit that sprang up and increased; and brought forth, some thirty, and some sixty, and some an hundred.
9 And he said unto them, He that hath ears to hear, let him hear.
10 And when he was aalone, they that were about him with the twelve asked of him the parable.
11 And he said unto them, Unto you it is given to know the amystery of the kingdom of God: but unto them that are without, all these things are done in bparables:
12 That seeing they may see, and not aperceive; and hearing they may hear, and not understand; lest at any time they should be converted, and their sins should be bforgiven them.
13 And he said unto them, Know ye not this parable? and how then will ye know all parables?
14 ¶ The sower soweth the word.
15 And these are they by the way side, where the word is sown; but when they have heard, aSatan cometh immediately, and taketh away the word that was sown in their hearts.
16 And these are they likewise which are sown on stony ground; who, when they have heard the word, immediately areceive it with gladness;
17 And have no root in themselves, and so endure but for a time: afterward, when aaffliction or bpersecution ariseth for the word’s sake, immediately they are offended.
18 And these are they which are sown among thorns; such as hear the word,
19 And the cares of this world, and the deceitfulness of ariches, and the blusts of other things entering in, choke the word, and it becometh unfruitful.
20 And these are they which are sown on good ground; such as hear the word, and receive it, and bring forth fruit, some thirtyfold, some sixty, and some an hundred.
21 ¶ And he said unto them, Is a acandle brought to be put under a bushel, or under a bed? and not to be set on a candlestick?
22 For there is nothing hid, which shall not be manifested; neither was any thing kept secret, but that it should come abroad.
23 aIf any man have ears to hear, let him hear.
24 And he said unto them, Take heed what ye hear: with what measure ye mete, it shall be measured to you: aand unto you that hear shall more be bgiven.
25 aFor he that hath, to him shall be given: and he that hath not, from him shall be btaken even that which he hath.
26 ¶ And he said, So is the kingdom of God, as if a man should cast seed into the ground;
27 And should sleep, and rise night and day, and the seed should spring and agrow up, he knoweth not how.
28 For the earth bringeth forth afruit of herself; first the blade, then the ear, after that the full corn in the ear.
29 But when the fruit is brought forth, immediately he putteth in the sickle, because the aharvest is come.
30 ¶ And he said, Whereunto shall we liken the kingdom of God? or with what comparison shall we compare it?
31 It is like a grain of mustard seed, which, when it is sown in the earth, is less than all the seeds that be in the earth:
32 But when it is sown, it groweth up, and becometh greater than all herbs, and shooteth out great branches; so that the fowls of the air may lodge under the shadow of it.
33 And with many such parables spake he the word unto them, as they were aable to hear it.
34 But without a parable spake he not unto them: and when they were alone, he expounded all things to his disciples.
35 And the same day, when the even was come, he saith unto them, Let us pass over unto the other side.
36 And when they had sent away the multitude, they took him even as he was in the ship. And there were also with him other little ships.
37 And there arose a great storm of wind, and the waves beat into the ship, so that it was now full.
38 And he was in the hinder part of the ship, asleep on a pillow: and they awake him, and say unto him, Master, carest thou not that we perish?
39 And he arose, and rebuked the wind, and said unto the sea, aPeace, be still. And the wind ceased, and there was a great bcalm.
40 And he said unto them, Why are ye so afearful? how is it that ye have no bfaith?
41 And they feared exceedingly, and said one to another, What manner of man is this, that even the wind and the sea obey him?
