제 10 장
칠십 인을 세워서 보내시다(마 11:20-24)
1 그 후에 주께서 따로 칠십 인을 세우사 친히 가시려는 각 동네와 각 지역으로 둘씩 앞서 보내시며
2 이르시되 추수할 것은 많되 일꾼이 적으니 그러므로 추수하는 주인에게 청하여 추수할 일꾼들을 보내 주소서 하라
3 갈지어다 내가 너희를 보냄이 어린 양을 이리 가운데로 보냄과 같도다
4 전대나 배낭이나 신발을 가지지 말며 길에서 아무에게도 문안하지 말며
5 어느 집에 들어가든지 먼저 말하되 이 집이 평안할지어다 하라
6 만일 평안을 받을 사람이 거기 있으면 너희의 평안이 그에게 머물 것이요 그렇지 않으면 너희에게로 돌아오리라
7 그 집에 유하며 주는 것을 먹고 마시라 일꾼이 그 삯을 받는 것이 마땅하니라 이 집에서 저 집으로 옮기지 말라
8 어느 동네에 들어가든지 너희를 영접하거든 너희 앞에 차려놓는 것을 먹고
9 거기 있는 병자들을 고치고 또 말하기를 하나님의 나라가 너희에게 가까이 왔다 하라
10 어느 동네에 들어가든지 너희를 영접하지 아니하거든 그 거리로 나와서 말하되
11 너희 동네에서 우리 발에 묻은 먼지도 너희에게 떨어버리노라 그러나 하나님의 나라가 가까이 온 줄을 알라 하라
12 내가 너희에게 말하노니 그 날에 소돔이 그 동네보다 견디기 쉬우리라
13 화 있을진저 고라신아, 화 있을진저 벳새다야, 너희에게 행한 모든 권능을 두로와 시돈에서 행하였더라면 그들이 벌써 베옷을 입고 재에 앉아 회개하였으리라
14 심판 때에 두로와 시돈이 너희보다 견디기 쉬우리라
15 가버나움아 네가 하늘에까지 높아지겠느냐 음부에까지 낮아지리라
16 너희 말을 듣는 자는 곧 내 말을 듣는 것이요 너희를 저버리는 자는 곧 나를 저버리는 것이요 나를 저버리는 자는 나 보내신 이를 저버리는 것이라 하시니라
칠십 인이 돌아오다
17 칠십 인이 기뻐하며 돌아와 이르되 주여 주의 이름이면 귀신들도 우리에게 항복하더이다
18 예수께서 이르시되 사탄이 하늘로부터 번개 같이 떨어지는 것을 내가 보았노라
19 내가 너희에게 뱀과 전갈을 밟으며 원수의 모든 능력을 제어할 권능을 주었으니 너희를 해칠 자가 결코 없으리라
20 그러나 귀신들이 너희에게 항복하는 것으로 기뻐하지 말고 너희 이름이 하늘에 기록된 것으로 기뻐하라 하시니라
예수의 감사 기도(마 11:25-27; 13:16-17)
21 그 때에 예수께서 성령으로 기뻐하시며 이르시되 천지의 주재이신 아버지여 이것을 지혜롭고 슬기 있는 자들에게는 숨기시고 어린 아이들에게는 나타내심을 감사하나이다 옳소이다 이렇게 된 것이 아버지의 뜻이니이다
22 내 아버지께서 모든 것을 내게 주셨으니 아버지 외에는 아들이 누구인지 아는 자가 없고 아들과 또 아들의 소원대로 계시를 받는 자 외에는 아버지가 누구인지 아는 자가 없나이다 하시고
23 제자들을 돌아 보시며 조용히 이르시되 너희가 보는 것을 보는 눈은 복이 있도다
24 내가 너희에게 말하노니 많은 선지자와 임금이 너희가 보는 바를 보고자 하였으되 보지 못하였으며 너희가 듣는 바를 듣고자 하였으되 듣지 못하였느니라
자비를 베푼 사마리아 사람
25 어떤 율법교사가 일어나 예수를 시험하여 이르되 선생님 내가 무엇을 하여야 영생을 얻으리이까
26 예수께서 이르시되 율법에 무엇이라 기록되었으며 네가 어떻게 읽느냐
27 대답하여 이르되 네 마음을 다하며 목숨을 다하며 힘을 다하며 뜻을 다하여 주 너의 하나님을 사랑하고 또한 네 이웃을 네 자신 같이 사랑하라 하였나이다
28 예수께서 이르시되 네 대답이 옳도다 이를 행하라 그러면 살리라 하시니
29 그 사람이 자기를 옳게 보이려고 예수께 여짜오되 그러면 내 이웃이 누구니이까
30 예수께서 대답하여 이르시되 어떤 사람이 예루살렘에서 여리고로 내려가다가 강도를 만나매 강도들이 그 옷을 벗기고 때려 거의 죽은 것을 버리고 갔더라
31 마침 한 제사장이 그 길로 내려가다가 그를 보고 피하여 지나가고
32 또 이와 같이 한 레위인도 그 곳에 이르러 그를 보고 피하여 지나가되
33 어떤 사마리아 사람은 여행하는 중 거기 이르러 그를 보고 불쌍히 여겨
34 가까이 가서 기름과 포도주를 그 상처에 붓고 싸매고 자기 짐승에 태워 주막으로 데리고 가서 돌보아 주니라
35 그 이튿날 그가 주막 주인에게 데나리온 둘을 내어 주며 이르되 이 사람을 돌보아 주라 비용이 더 들면 내가 돌아올 때에 갚으리라 하였으니
36 네 생각에는 이 세 사람 중에 누가 강도 만난 자의 이웃이 되겠느냐
37 이르되 자비를 베푼 자니이다 예수께서 이르시되 가서 너도 이와 같이 하라 하시니라
마르다와 마리아
38 그들이 길 갈 때에 예수께서 한 마을에 들어가시매 마르다라 이름하는 한 여자가 자기 집으로 영접하더라
39 그에게 마리아라 하는 동생이 있어 주의 발치에 앉아 그의 말씀을 듣더니
40 마르다는)준비하는 일이 많아 마음이 분주한지라 예수께 나아가 이르되 주여 내 동생이 나 혼자 일하게 두는 것을 생각하지 아니하시나이까 그를 명하사 나를 도와 주라 하소서
41 주께서 대답하여 이르시되 마르다야 마르다야 네가 많은 일로 염려하고 근심하나
42 몇 가지만 하든지 혹은 한 가지만이라도 족하니라 마리아는 이 좋은 편을 택하였으니 빼앗기지 아니하리라 하시니라
CAPÍTULO 10
Jesús llama a los Setenta, les da autoridad y los instruye — Estos predican y sanan — Aquellos que reciben a los discípulos de Cristo le reciben a Él — El Hijo revela al Padre — Jesús enseña la parábola del buen samaritano.
1 Y después de estas cosas, el Señor adesignó a otros bsetenta, a quienes envió de cdos en dos delante de sí a toda ciudad y lugar a donde él había de ir.
2 Y les dijo: La amies a la verdad es mucha, pero los obreros pocos; por tanto, rogad al Señor de la mies que envíe obreros a su mies.
3 Id, he aquí yo os envío como acorderos en medio de lobos.
4 No llevéis abolsa, ni alforja ni calzado; y a nadie saludéis por el camino.
5 En cualquier casa donde entréis, primeramente decid: aPaz sea a esta casa.
6 Y si hubiere allí algún hijo de paz, vuestra paz reposará sobre él; y si no, se volverá a vosotros.
7 Y quedaos en aquella misma casa, comiendo y bebiendo lo que os den; porque ael obrero es digno de su bsalario. No os paséis de casa en casa.
8 Y en cualquier ciudad donde entréis y aos reciban, comed lo que os pongan delante,
9 y sanad a los enfermos que en ella haya y decidles: Se ha acercado a vosotros el areino de Dios.
10 Pero en cualquier ciudad donde entréis y no os reciban, salid por sus calles y decid:
11 Aun el apolvo de vuestra ciudad que se ha pegado a nuestros pies lo sacudimos contra vosotros; pero sabed esto, que el reino de los cielos se ha acercado a vosotros.
12 Y os digo que en aquel día será más tolerable para los de Sodoma que para aquella ciudad.
13 ¡Ay de ti, Corazín! ¡Ay de ti, Betsaida!, porque si en Tiro y en Sidón se hubieran hecho las maravillas que se han hecho en vosotras, ya hace tiempo que, sentados en cilicio y ceniza, se habrían arrepentido.
14 Por tanto, en el juicio será más tolerable para Tiro y Sidón que para vosotras.
15 Y tú, Capernaúm, que hasta los cielos eres levantada, hasta el Hades serás abatida.
16 aEl que a vosotros boye, a mí me oye; y el que a vosotros desecha, a cmí me desecha; y el que me desecha a mí, desecha al que me envió.
17 Y volvieron los setenta con gozo, diciendo: Señor, ¡aun los demonios se nos sujetan en tu nombre!
18 Y les dijo: Yo veía a aSatanás caer del cielo como un rayo.
19 He aquí os doy potestad para ahollar serpientes y escorpiones, y vencer toda fuerza del enemigo, y nada os bdañará.
20 No obstante, no os regocijéis de esto, de que los aespíritus se os sujeten, sino bregocijaos de que vuestros nombres están cescritos en los cielos.
21 En aquella misma hora Jesús se regocijó en el espíritu y dijo: Yo te alabo, oh Padre, Señor del cielo y de la tierra, porque escondiste estas cosas ade los sabios y bentendidos, y las has revelado a los cpequeños. Sí, Padre, porque así te agradó.
22 Todas las cosas me han sido aentregadas por mi Padre; y nadie sabe bquién es el Hijo sino el Padre, ni quién es el Padre sino el Hijo y aquel a quien el Hijo lo quiera crevelar.
23 Y volviéndose a los discípulos, les dijo aparte: Bienaventurados los ojos que ven lo que vosotros veis,
24 pues os digo que muchos profetas y reyes desearon ver lo que vosotros veis, y no lo vieron; y oír lo que oís, y no lo oyeron.
25 Y he aquí, un intérprete de la ley se levantó y dijo, para tentarle: Maestro, ¿qué debo hacer para heredar la avida eterna?
26 Y él le dijo: ¿Qué está escrito en la ley? ¿Cómo lees?
27 Y él, respondiendo, dijo: Amarás al Señor tu Dios con todo tu corazón, y con toda tu alma, y con todas tus fuerzas y con toda tu mente; y a tu prójimo como a ti mismo.
28 Y le dijo: Bien has respondido; haz esto y avivirás.
29 Pero él, queriendo ajustificarse a sí mismo, dijo a Jesús: ¿Y quién es mi prójimo?
30 Y respondiendo Jesús, dijo: Un hombre descendía de Jerusalén a Jericó y cayó en manos de ladrones, los cuales le despojaron; e hiriéndole, se fueron, dejándole medio muerto.
31 Y aconteció que descendió un sacerdote por aquel camino y, al verle, pasó de largo.
32 Y asimismo un alevita, llegando cerca de aquel lugar, al verle, pasó de largo.
33 Mas un asamaritano que iba de camino llegó cerca de él y, al verle, fue movido a misericordia;
34 y acercándose, vendó sus heridas, echándoles aceite y vino; y poniéndole sobre su propia cabalgadura, le llevó al mesón y cuidó de él.
35 Y otro día, al partir, sacó dos denarios y los dio al mesonero, y le dijo: Cuídamelo; y todo lo que gastes de más, yo te lo pagaré cuando vuelva.
36 ¿Quién, pues, de estos tres te parece que fue el prójimo de aquel que cayó en manos de los ladrones?
37 Y él dijo: El que tuvo misericordia de él. Entonces Jesús le dijo: Ve y haz tú lo mismo.
38 Y aconteció que, prosiguiendo ellos su camino, Jesús entró en una aldea; y una mujer llamada aMarta le recibió en su casa.
39 Y esta tenía una hermana que se llamaba aMaría, la que, sentándose a los pies de Jesús, oía su palabra.
40 Pero Marta se preocupaba con muchos quehaceres; y acercándose, dijo: Señor, ¿no te da cuidado que mi hermana me deje servir sola? Dile, pues, que me ayude.
41 Pero respondiendo Jesús, le dijo: Marta, Marta, afanada y turbada estás con muchas cosas.
42 Pero solo una cosa es necesaria; y María ha escogido la buena parte, la cual no le será quitada.
CHAPTER 10
Jesus calls, empowers, and instructs the Seventy—They preach and heal—Those who receive Christ’s disciples receive Christ—The Father is revealed by the Son—Jesus gives the parable of the good Samaritan.
1 After these things the Lord aappointed other bseventy also, and sent them ctwo and two before his face into every city and place, whither he himself would come.
2 Therefore said he unto them, The aharvest truly is great, but the labourers are few: pray ye therefore the Lord of the harvest, that he would send forth labourers into his harvest.
3 Go your ways: behold, I send you forth as alambs among wolves.
4 Carry neither apurse, nor scrip, nor shoes: and bsalute no man by the way.
5 And into whatsoever house ye enter, first say, aPeace be to this house.
6 And if the son of peace be there, your peace shall rest upon it: if not, it shall turn to you again.
7 And in the same house remain, eating and drinking such things as they give: for the alabourer is worthy of his bhire. Go not from house to house.
8 And into whatsoever city ye enter, and they areceive you, eat such things as are set before you:
9 And heal the sick that are therein, and say unto them, The akingdom of God is come nigh unto you.
10 But into whatsoever city ye enter, and they receive you not, go your ways out into the streets of the same, and say,
11 Even the very adust of your city, which cleaveth on us, we do wipe off against you: notwithstanding be ye sure of this, that the kingdom of God is come nigh unto you.
12 But I say unto you, that it shall be more tolerable in that day for Sodom, than for that city.
13 Woe unto thee, Chorazin! woe unto thee, Bethsaida! for if the mighty works had been done in Tyre and Sidon, which have been done in you, they had a great while ago repented, sitting in sackcloth and ashes.
14 But it shall be more tolerable for Tyre and Sidon at the judgment, than for you.
15 And thou, Capernaum, which art exalted to heaven, shalt be thrust down to hell.
16 aHe that bheareth you heareth me; and he that cdespiseth you ddespiseth me; and he that edespiseth me despiseth him that sent me.
17 ¶ And the aseventy returned again with joy, saying, Lord, even the devils are subject unto us through thy name.
18 And he said unto them, I beheld aSatan as lightning fall from heaven.
19 Behold, I give unto you apower to btread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means churt you.
20 Notwithstanding in this arejoice not, that the spirits are subject unto you; but rather brejoice, because your names are cwritten in heaven.
21 ¶ In that hour Jesus arejoiced in spirit, and said, I thank thee, O Father, Lord of heaven and earth, that thou hast hid these things bfrom the wise and cprudent, and hast revealed them unto dbabes: even so, Father; for so it seemed good in thy sight.
22 All things are adelivered to me of my Father: and no man knoweth bwho the Son is, but the Father; and who the Father is, but the Son, and he to whom the Son will creveal him.
23 ¶ And he turned him unto his disciples, and said privately, Blessed are the aeyes which see the things that ye see:
24 For I tell you, that many aprophets and bkings have desired to see those things which ye see, and have not seen them; and to hear those things which ye hear, and have not heard them.
25 ¶ And, behold, a certain lawyer stood up, and tempted him, saying, Master, what shall I do to inherit aeternal life?
26 He said unto him, What is written in the law? how readest thou?
27 And he answering said, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy aheart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy strength, and with all thy mind; and thy neighbour as thyself.
28 And he said unto him, Thou hast answered right: this do, and thou shalt alive.
29 But he, willing to ajustify himself, said unto Jesus, And who is my bneighbour?
30 And Jesus answering said, A certain man went down from Jerusalem to Jericho, and fell among thieves, which stripped him of his raiment, and awounded him, and departed, leaving him half dead.
31 And by chance there came down a certain priest that way: and when he saw him, he passed by on the other side.
32 And likewise a Levite, when he was at the place, came and looked on him, and passed by on the other side.
33 But a certain aSamaritan, as he journeyed, came where he was: and when he saw him, he had bcompassion on him,
34 And went to him, and bound up his wounds, pouring in oil and wine, and set him on his own beast, and brought him to an inn, and took acare of him.
35 And on the morrow when he departed, he took out two pence, and gave them to the ahost, and said unto him, Take care of him; and whatsoever thou spendest more, when I come again, I will repay thee.
36 Which now of these three, thinkest thou, was neighbour unto him that fell among the thieves?
37 And he said, He that shewed mercy on him. Then said Jesus unto him, Go, and do thou likewise.
38 ¶ Now it came to pass, as they went, that he entered into a certain village: and a certain woman named aMartha received him into her house.
39 And she had a sister called Mary, which also sat at Jesus’ feet, and heard his word.
40 But Martha was cumbered about much serving, and came to him, and said, Lord, dost thou not care that my sister hath left me to serve alone? bid her therefore that she help me.
41 And Jesus answered and said unto her, Martha, Martha, thou art acareful and troubled about many things:
42 But one thing is needful: and Mary hath achosen that good part, which shall not be taken away from her.
