제 13 장
회개하지 아니하면 망하리라
1 그 때 마침 두어 사람이 와서 빌라도가 어떤 갈릴리 사람들의 피를 그들의 제물에 섞은 일로 예수께 아뢰니
2 대답하여 이르시되 너희는 이 갈릴리 사람들이 이같이 해 받으므로 다른 모든 갈릴리 사람보다 죄가 더 있는 줄 아느냐
3 너희에게 이르노니 아니라 너희도 만일 회개하지 아니하면 다 이와 같이 망하리라
4 또 실로암에서 망대가 무너져 치어 죽은 열여덟 사람이 예루살렘에 거한 다른 모든 사람보다 죄가 더 있는 줄 아느냐
5 너희에게 이르노니 아니라 너희도 만일 회개하지 아니하면 다 이와 같이 망하리라
열매 맺지 못하는 무화과나무 비유
6 이에 비유로 말씀하시되 한 사람이 포도원에 무화과나무를 심은 것이 있더니 와서 그 열매를 구하였으나 얻지 못한지라
7 포도원지기에게 이르되 내가 삼 년을 와서 이 무화과나무에서 열매를 구하되 얻지 못하니 찍어버리라 어찌 땅만 버리게 하겠느냐
8 대답하여 이르되 주인이여 금년에도 그대로 두소서 내가 두루 파고 거름을 주리니
9 이 후에 만일 열매가 열면 좋거니와 그렇지 않으면 찍어버리소서 하였다 하시니라
안식일에 꼬부라진 여자를 고치시다
10 예수께서 안식일에 한 회당에서 가르치실 때에
11 열여덟 해 동안이나 귀신 들려 앓으며 꼬부라져 조금도 펴지 못하는 한 여자가 있더라
12 예수께서 보시고 불러 이르시되 여자여 네가 네 병에서 놓였다 하시고
13 안수하시니 여자가 곧 펴고 하나님께 영광을 돌리는지라
14 회당장이 예수께서 안식일에 병 고치시는 것을 분 내어 무리에게 이르되 일할 날이 엿새가 있으니 그 동안에 와서 고침을 받을 것이요 안식일에는 하지 말 것이니라 하거늘
15 주께서 대답하여 이르시되 외식하는 자들아 너희가 각각 안식일에 자기의 소나 나귀를 외양간에서 풀어내어 이끌고 가서 물을 먹이지 아니하느냐
16 그러면 열여덟 해 동안 사탄에게 매인 바 된 이 아브라함의 딸을 안식일에 이 매임에서 푸는 것이 합당하지 아니하냐
17 예수께서 이 말씀을 하시매 모든 반대하는 자들은 부끄러워하고 온 무리는 그가 하시는 모든 영광스러운 일을 기뻐하니라
겨자씨와 누룩 비유(마 13:31-33; 막 4:30-32)
18 그러므로 예수께서 이르시되 하나님의 나라가 무엇과 같을까 내가 무엇으로 비교할까
19 마치 사람이 자기 채소밭에 갖다 심은 겨자씨 한 알 같으니 자라 나무가 되어 공중의 새들이 그 가지에 깃들였느니라
20 또 이르시되 내가 하나님의 나라를 무엇으로 비교할까
21 마치 여자가 가루 서 말 속에 갖다 넣어 전부 부풀게 한 누룩과 같으니라 하셨더라
좁은 문으로 들어가기를 힘쓰라(마 7:13-14, 21-23)
22 예수께서 각 성 각 마을로 다니사 가르치시며 예루살렘으로 여행하시더니
23 어떤 사람이 여짜오되 주여 구원을 받는 자가 적으니이까 그들에게 이르시되
24 좁은 문으로 들어가기를 힘쓰라 내가 너희에게 이르노니 들어가기를 구하여도 못하는 자가 많으리라
25 집 주인이 일어나 문을 한 번 닫은 후에 너희가 밖에 서서 문을 두드리며 주여 열어 주소서 하면 그가 대답하여 이르되 나는 너희가 어디에서 온 자인지 알지 못하노라 하리니
26 그 때에 너희가 말하되 우리는 주 앞에서 먹고 마셨으며 주는 또한 우리의 길거리에서 가르치셨나이다 하나
27 그가 너희에게 말하여 이르되 나는 너희가 어디에서 왔는지 알지 못하노라 행악하는 모든 자들아 나를 떠나 가라 하리라
28 너희가 아브라함과 이삭과 야곱과 모든 선지자는 하나님 나라에 있고 오직 너희는 밖에 쫓겨난 것을 볼 때에 거기서 슬피 울며 이를 갈리라
29 사람들이 동서남북으로부터 와서 하나님의 나라 잔치에 참여하리니
30 보라 나중 된 자로서 먼저 될 자도 있고 먼저 된 자로서 나중 될 자도 있느니라 하시더라
선지자들을 죽이는 예루살렘아(마 23:37-39)
31 곧 그 때에 어떤 바리새인들이 나아와서 이르되 나가서 여기를 떠나소서 헤롯이 당신을 죽이고자 하나이다
32 이르시되 너희는 가서 저 여우에게 이르되 오늘과 내일은 내가 귀신을 쫓아내며 병을 고치다가 제삼일에는 완전하여지리라 하라
33 그러나 오늘과 내일과 모레는 내가 갈 길을 가야 하리니 선지자가 예루살렘 밖에서는 죽는 법이 없느니라
34 예루살렘아 예루살렘아 선지자들을 죽이고 네게 파송된 자들을 돌로 치는 자여 암탉이 제 새끼를 날개 아래에 모음 같이 내가 너희의 자녀를 모으려 한 일이 몇 번이냐 그러나 너희가 원하지 아니하였도다
35 보라 너희 집이 황폐하여 버린 바 되리라 내가 너희에게 이르노니 너희가 주의 이름으로 오시는 이를 찬송하리로다 할 때까지는 나를 보지 못하리라 하시니라
CAPÍTULO 13
Jesús enseña: Arrepentíos o pereceréis — Enseña la parábola de la higuera estéril; sana a una mujer en el día de reposo y compara el reino de Dios a un grano de mostaza — Habla sobre si serán pocos o muchos los que se salven, y se lamenta por Jerusalén.
1 Y en este mismo tiempo estaban allí algunos que le contaban acerca de los galileos cuya sangre Pilato había mezclado con los sacrificios de ellos.
2 Y respondiendo Jesús, les dijo: ¿Pensáis que estos galileos, porque han apadecido tales cosas, eran más pecadores que todos los galileos?
3 Os digo: No, antes bien, si no os aarrepentís, todos bpereceréis igualmente.
4 O aquellos dieciocho sobre los cuales cayó la torre de Siloé y los mató, ¿pensáis que ellos eran más culpables que todos los hombres que habitan en Jerusalén?
5 Os digo: No, antes bien, si no os arrepentís, todos pereceréis igualmente.
6 Y dijo esta parábola: Un hombre tenía una higuera plantada en su aviña, y vino a buscar fruto en ella y no lo halló.
7 Y dijo al viñador: He aquí hace tres años que vengo a buscar fruto en esta higuera y no lo hallo; acórtala, ¿para qué ha de seguir ocupando el terreno?
8 Él entonces, respondiendo, le dijo: Señor, déjala aún este año, hasta que yo cave alrededor de ella y la abone.
9 Y si da fruto, bien; y si no, la cortarás después.
10 Y Jesús enseñaba en una sinagoga en el día de reposo.
11 Y he aquí, había allí una mujer que tenía espíritu de enfermedad desde hacía dieciocho años, y andaba encorvada y en ninguna manera se podía enderezar.
12 Y cuando Jesús la vio, la llamó y le dijo: Mujer, quedas libre de tu enfermedad.
13 Y apuso las manos sobre ella, y al instante ella se enderezó y glorificaba a Dios.
14 Y respondiendo el principal de la sinagoga, enojado de que Jesús hubiese curado en el día de reposo, dijo a la gente: Seis días hay en que es necesario trabajar; en estos, pues, venid y sed sanados, y no en el día de reposo.
15 Entonces el Señor le respondió y dijo: ¡Hipócrita! ¿No desata cada uno de vosotros su buey o su asno del pesebre y lo lleva a beber en el día de reposo?
16 Y a esta hija de Abraham, que Satanás había atado durante dieciocho años, ¿no se la debía desatar de esta ligadura en el adía de reposo?
17 Y al decir él estas cosas, se avergonzaban todos sus adversarios; pero todo el pueblo se regocijaba de todas las cosas gloriosas que él hacía.
18 Y dijo: ¿A qué es semejante el reino de Dios, y con qué lo compararé?
19 Es semejante al grano de mostaza que un hombre tomó y sembró en su huerto; y creció y se hizo árbol grande, y las aves del cielo hicieron nidos en sus ramas.
20 Y otra vez dijo: ¿A qué compararé el reino de Dios?
21 Es semejante a la levadura que una mujer tomó y escondió en tres medidas de harina, hasta que todo hubo fermentado.
22 Y Jesús pasaba por las ciudades y aldeas, enseñando y caminando hacia Jerusalén.
23 Y le preguntó uno: Señor, ¿son apocos los que se salvan? Y él les dijo:
24 Esforzaos por entrar por la puerta aangosta, porque os digo que muchos bprocurarán entrar y no podrán.
25 Después que el padre de familia se levante y cierre la puerta, y estando fuera, comencéis a llamar a la puerta, diciendo: aSeñor, Señor, ábrenos; él, respondiendo, os dirá: No sé de dónde sois.
26 Entonces comenzaréis a decir: Delante de ti hemos comido y bebido, y en nuestras plazas enseñaste;
27 pero os dirá: Os digo que no sé de dónde sois; aapartaos de mí todos vosotros, hacedores de iniquidad.
28 Allí será el allanto y el crujir de dientes cuando veáis a Abraham, y a Isaac, y a Jacob y a todos los profetas en el breino de Dios, y vosotros estéis excluidos.
29 Y avendrán del oriente y del occidente, del norte y del sur, y se sentarán a la mesa en el reino de Dios.
30 Y he aquí, son postreros los que eran los aprimeros; y son primeros los que eran los postreros.
31 Aquel mismo día llegaron unos fariseos y le dijeron: Sal y vete de aquí, porque aHerodes te quiere matar.
32 Y él les dijo: Id y decid a aquel zorro: He aquí, echo fuera demonios y hago sanidades hoy y mañana, y al tercer día aseré perfeccionado.
33 Sin embargo, es menester que hoy, y mañana y pasado mañana siga mi camino, porque no es posible que un aprofeta muera fuera de bJerusalén.
34 ¡Jerusalén, Jerusalén, que amatas a los profetas y apedreas a los que te son enviados! ¡Cuántas veces quise juntar a tus hijos, como la bgallina a sus polluelos debajo de sus alas, y no quisiste!
35 He aquí, vuestra casa os es dejada adesierta; y os digo que bno me veréis más hasta que llegue el tiempo cuando digáis: Bendito el que viene en nombre del Señor.
CHAPTER 13
Jesus teaches, Repent or perish—He gives the parable of the barren fig tree, heals a woman on the Sabbath, and likens the kingdom of God to a mustard seed—He discusses whether few or many are saved and laments over Jerusalem.
1 There were present at that season some that told him of the Galilæans, whose blood Pilate had mingled with their sacrifices.
2 And Jesus answering said unto them, Suppose ye that these Galilæans were asinners above all the Galilæans, because they suffered such things?
3 I tell you, Nay: but, except ye arepent, ye shall all likewise bperish.
4 Or those eighteen, upon whom the tower in Siloam fell, and slew them, think ye that they were sinners above all men that dwelt in Jerusalem?
5 I tell you, Nay: but, except ye repent, ye shall all likewise perish.
6 ¶ He spake also this parable; A certain man had a fig tree planted in his avineyard; and he came and sought fruit thereon, and found none.
7 Then said he unto the dresser of his vineyard, Behold, these three years I come seeking fruit on this fig tree, and find none: acut it down; why cumbereth it the ground?
8 And he answering said unto him, Lord, let it alone this year also, till I shall dig about it, and dung it:
9 And if it bear fruit, well: and if not, then after that thou shalt cut it down.
10 And he was teaching in one of the synagogues on the sabbath.
11 ¶ And, behold, there was a woman which had a spirit of infirmity eighteen years, and was bowed together, and could in no wise lift up herself.
12 And when Jesus saw her, he called her to him, and said unto her, Woman, thou art loosed from thine infirmity.
13 And he alaid his bhands on her: and immediately she was made straight, and glorified God.
14 And the ruler of the synagogue answered with indignation, because that Jesus had healed on the sabbath day, and said unto the people, There are six days in which men ought to awork: in them therefore come and be healed, and not on the sabbath day.
15 The Lord then answered him, and said, Thou hypocrite, doth not each one of you on the sabbath loose his ox or his ass from the stall, and lead him away to watering?
16 And ought not this woman, being a daughter of Abraham, whom Satan hath bound, lo, these eighteen years, be loosed from this bond on the asabbath day?
17 And when he had said these things, all his adversaries were ashamed: and all the people rejoiced for all the glorious things that were done by him.
18 ¶ Then said he, Unto what is the kingdom of God like? and whereunto shall I aresemble it?
19 It is like a grain of mustard seed, which a man took, and cast into his garden; and it grew, and awaxed a great tree; and the fowls of the air lodged in the branches of it.
20 And again he said, Whereunto shall I liken the kingdom of God?
21 It is like leaven, which a woman took and hid in three measures of meal, till the whole was leavened.
22 And he went through the cities and villages, teaching, and journeying toward Jerusalem.
23 Then said one unto him, Lord, are there afew that be saved? And he said unto them,
24 ¶ Strive to enter in at the astrait bgate: for many, I say unto you, will cseek to enter in, and shall not be able.
25 When once the master of the house is risen up, and hath shut to the door, and ye begin to stand without, and to knock at the door, saying, Lord, aLord, open unto us; and he shall answer and say unto you, I know you not whence ye are:
26 Then shall ye begin to say, We have eaten and drunk in thy presence, and thou hast taught in our streets.
27 But he shall say, I tell you, I know you not whence ye are; adepart from me, all ye workers of iniquity.
28 There shall be aweeping and gnashing of teeth, when ye shall see Abraham, and Isaac, and Jacob, and all the prophets, in the bkingdom of God, and you yourselves thrust out.
29 And athey shall come from the east, and from the west, and from the north, and from the south, and shall sit down in the kingdom of God.
30 And, behold, there are last which shall be first, and there are afirst which shall be last.
31 ¶ The same day there came certain of the Pharisees, saying unto him, Get thee out, and depart hence: for aHerod will kill thee.
32 And he said unto them, Go ye, and tell that fox, Behold, I cast out devils, and I do cures to day and to morrow, and the third day I shall be aperfected.
33 Nevertheless I must walk to day, and to morrow, and the day following: for it cannot be that a aprophet perish out of bJerusalem.
34 O Jerusalem, Jerusalem, which akillest the prophets, and stonest them that are sent unto thee; how often would I have gathered thy children together, as a bhen doth gather her brood under her wings, and ye would not!
35 Behold, your house is left unto you adesolate: and verily I say unto you, bYe shall not see me, until the time come when ye shall say, cBlessed is he that cometh in the name of the Lord.
