제 17 장
용서, 믿음, 종이 할 일(마 18:6-7; 21:22; 막 9:42)
1 예수께서 제자들에게 이르시되 실족하게 하는 것이 없을 수는 없으나 그렇게 하게 하는 자에게는 화로다
2 그가 이 작은 자 중의 하나를 실족하게 할진대 차라리 연자맷돌이 그 목에 매여 바다에 던져지는 것이 나으리라
3 너희는 스스로 조심하라 만일 네 형제가 죄를 범하거든 경고하고 회개하거든 용서하라
4 만일 하루에 일곱 번이라도 네게 죄를 짓고 일곱 번 네게 돌아와 내가 회개하노라 하거든 너는 용서하라 하시더라
5 사도들이 주께 여짜오되 우리에게 믿음을 더하소서 하니
6 주께서 이르시되 너희에게 겨자씨 한 알만한 믿음이 있었더라면 이 뽕나무더러 뿌리가 뽑혀 바다에 심기어라 하였을 것이요 그것이 너희에게 순종하였으리라
7 너희 중 누구에게 밭을 갈거나 양을 치거나 하는 종이 있어 밭에서 돌아오면 그더러 곧 와 앉아서 먹으라 말할 자가 있느냐
8 도리어 그더러 내 먹을 것을 준비하고 띠를 띠고 내가 먹고 마시는 동안에 수종들고 너는 그 후에 먹고 마시라 하지 않겠느냐
9 명한 대로 하였다고 종에게 감사하겠느냐
10 이와 같이 너희도 명령 받은 것을 다 행한 후에 이르기를 우리는 무익한 종이라 우리가 하여야 할 일을 한 것뿐이라 할지니라
나병환자 열 명이 깨끗함을 받다
11 예수께서 예루살렘으로 가실 때에 사마리아와 갈릴리 사이로 지나가시다가
12 한 마을에 들어가시니 나병환자 열 명이 예수를 만나 멀리 서서
13 소리를 높여 이르되 예수 선생님이여 우리를 불쌍히 여기소서 하거늘
14 보시고 이르시되 가서 제사장들에게 너희 몸을 보이라 하셨더니 그들이 가다가 깨끗함을 받은지라
15 그 중의 한 사람이 자기가 나은 것을 보고 큰 소리로 하나님께 영광을 돌리며 돌아와
16 예수의 발 아래에 엎드리어 감사하니 그는 사마리아 사람이라
17 예수께서 대답하여 이르시되 열 사람이 다 깨끗함을 받지 아니하였느냐 그 아홉은 어디 있느냐
18 이 이방인 외에는 하나님께 영광을 돌리러 돌아온 자가 없느냐 하시고
19 그에게 이르시되 일어나 가라 네 믿음이 너를 구원하였느니라 하시더라
하나님의 나라는 너희 안에 있다(마 24:23-28, 37-41)
20 바리새인들이 하나님의 나라가 어느 때에 임하나이까 묻거늘 예수께서 대답하여 이르시되 하나님의 나라는 볼 수 있게 임하는 것이 아니요
21 또 여기 있다 저기 있다고도 못하리니 하나님의 나라는 너희 안에 있느니라
22 또 제자들에게 이르시되 때가 이르리니 너희가 인자의 날 하루를 보고자 하되 보지 못하리라
23 사람이 너희에게 말하되 보라 저기 있다 보라 여기 있다 하리라 그러나 너희는 가지도 말고 따르지도 말라
24 번개가 하늘 아래 이쪽에서 번쩍이어 하늘 아래 저쪽까지 비침같이 인자도 자기 날에 그러하리라
25 그러나 그가 먼저 많은 고난을 받으며 이 세대에게 버린 바 되어야 할지니라
26 노아의 때에 된 것과 같이 인자의 때에도 그러하리라
27 노아가 방주에 들어가던 날까지 사람들이 먹고 마시고 장가 들고 시집 가더니 홍수가 나서 그들을 다 멸망시켰으며
28 또 롯의 때와 같으리니 사람들이 먹고 마시고 사고 팔고 심고 집을 짓더니
29 롯이 소돔에서 나가던 날에 하늘로부터 불과 유황이 비오듯 하여 그들을 멸망시켰느니라
30 인자가 나타나는 날에도 이러하리라
31 그 날에 만일 사람이 지붕 위에 있고 그의 세간이 그 집 안에 있으면 그것을 가지러 내려가지 말 것이요 밭에 있는 자도 그와 같이 뒤로 돌이키지 말 것이니라
32 롯의 처를 기억하라
33 무릇 자기 목숨을 보전하고자 하는 자는 잃을 것이요 잃는 자는 살리리라
34 내가 너희에게 이르노니 그 밤에 둘이 한 자리에 누워 있으매 하나는 데려감을 얻고 하나는 버려둠을 당할 것이요
35 두 여자가 함께 맷돌을 갈고 있으매 하나는 데려감을 얻고 하나는 버려둠을 당할 것이니라
36 (없음)
37 그들이 대답하여 이르되 주여 어디오니이까 이르시되 주검 있는 곳에는 독수리가 모이느니라 하시니라
CAPÍTULO 17
Jesús habla de las ofensas, del perdón y de la fe — Aun los fieles son siervos inútiles — Se sana a diez leprosos — Jesús habla sobre la Segunda Venida.
1 Y Jesús dijo a sus discípulos: Imposible es que no vengan tropiezos; mas, ¡ay de aquel por quien vienen!
2 Mejor le fuera que se le colgase al cuello una piedra de molino y se le lanzase al mar, que ahacer tropezar a uno de estos pequeñitos.
3 Mirad por vosotros mismos; si tu hermano apeca contra ti, repréndele; y si se arrepiente, bperdónale.
4 Y si siete veces al día peca contra ti, y siete veces al día vuelve a ti, diciendo: aMe arrepiento, perdónale.
5 Y dijeron los apóstoles al Señor: Auméntanos la fe.
6 Entonces el Señor dijo: Si tuvieseis afe como un grano de mostaza, diríais a este sicómoro: Desarráigate y plántate en el mar; y os obedecería.
7 ¿Y quién de vosotros, que tiene un siervo que ara o aapacienta, al volver él del campo le dice enseguida: Pasa, siéntate a la mesa?
8 ¿No le dice más bien: Prepárame la cena, y cíñete y sírveme hasta que haya comido y bebido; y después de eso, come y bebe tú?
9 ¿Da gracias al siervo porque hizo lo que se le había mandado? Pienso que no.
10 Así también vosotros, cuando hayáis hecho todo lo que se os ha mandado, decid: aSiervos inútiles somos, porque solo hicimos lo que debíamos hacer.
11 Y aconteció que yendo Jesús a Jerusalén, pasaba entre Samaria y Galilea.
12 Y al entrar en una aldea, salieron a su encuentro diez hombres aleprosos, los cuales se pararon de lejos
13 y alzaron la voz, diciendo: ¡Jesús, Maestro, ten misericordia de nosotros!
14 Y cuando él los vio, les dijo: Id, mostraos a los asacerdotes. Y aconteció que, mientras iban, fueron limpiados.
15 Entonces uno de ellos, cuando vio que había sido sanado, volvió glorificando a Dios a gran voz,
16 y se postró sobre su rostro a los pies de Jesús, dándole agracias; y este era samaritano.
17 Y respondiendo Jesús, dijo: ¿No son diez los que fueron limpiados? Y los nueve, ¿dónde están?
18 ¿No hubo quien volviese y diese gloria a Dios, sino este extranjero?
19 Y le dijo: Levántate, vete; tu fe te ha sanado.
20 Y cuando los fariseos le preguntaron cuándo había de venir el areino de Dios, les respondió y dijo: El reino de Dios no vendrá con advertencia,
21 ni dirán: Helo aquí, o helo allí, porque he aquí, el reino de Dios aestá entre vosotros.
22 Y dijo a sus discípulos: Tiempo vendrá cuando desearéis ver uno de los días del Hijo del Hombre y no lo veréis.
23 Y os adirán: Helo aquí o helo allí. No vayáis ni los sigáis.
24 Porque como el relámpago que al fulgurar ilumina el cielo desde un extremo hasta el otro, así también será el Hijo del Hombre en su adía.
25 Pero primero es necesario que apadezca mucho y sea rechazado por esta generación.
26 Y como fue en los días de aNoé, así también será en los días del Hijo del Hombre.
27 Comían, bebían, se casaban y se daban en casamiento, hasta el día en que entró Noé en el arca, y vino el adiluvio y los destruyó a todos.
28 Asimismo, como sucedió en los días de Lot: comían, bebían, compraban, vendían, plantaban, edificaban;
29 pero el día en que Lot salió de aSodoma, llovió del cielo fuego y azufre, y destruyó a todos.
30 Así será el día en que el Hijo del Hombre se manifieste.
31 En aquel día, el que esté en la azotea y tenga sus bienes en casa, no descienda a tomarlos; y el que esté en el campo, asimismo no vuelva atrás.
32 Acordaos de ala mujer de Lot.
33 Todo el que procure salvar su vida, la perderá; y todo el que la apierda, la salvará.
34 Os digo que en aquella noche estarán dos en una cama, uno será tomado y el otro será dejado.
35 Dos mujeres estarán moliendo juntas; una será tomada y la otra será dejada.
36 Dos estarán en el campo; uno será tomado y el otro será dejado.
37 aY respondiendo, le dijeron: ¿Dónde, Señor? Y él les dijo: Donde estuviere el cuerpo, allí se juntarán también las águilas.
CHAPTER 17
Jesus speaks of offenses, forgiveness, and faith—Even the faithful are unprofitable servants—Ten lepers are healed—Jesus discourses on the Second Coming.
1 Then said he unto the disciples, It is impossible but that aoffences will come: but woe unto him, through whom they come!
2 It were better for him that a millstone were hanged about his neck, and he cast into the sea, than that he should aoffend one of these little ones.
3 ¶ Take heed to yourselves: If thy brother atrespass against thee, rebuke him; and if he repent, bforgive him.
4 And if he trespass against thee seven times in a day, and seven times in a day turn again to thee, saying, I arepent; thou shalt forgive him.
5 And the apostles said unto the Lord, Increase our faith.
6 And the Lord said, If ye had afaith as a grain of mustard seed, ye might say unto this sycamine tree, Be thou plucked up by the root, and be thou planted in the sea; and it should obey you.
7 But which of you, having a servant plowing or afeeding cattle, will say unto him bby and by, when he is come from the field, Go and sit down to meat?
8 And will not rather say unto him, Make ready wherewith I may sup, and gird thyself, and serve me, till I have eaten and drunken; and afterward thou shalt eat and drink?
9 Doth he thank that servant because he did the things that were commanded him? I atrow not.
10 So likewise ye, when ye shall have done all those things which are commanded you, say, We are aunprofitable servants: we have done that which was our bduty to do.
11 ¶ And it came to pass, as he went to Jerusalem, that he passed through the midst of Samaria and Galilee.
12 And as he entered into a certain village, there met him ten men that were alepers, which stood afar off:
13 And they lifted up their voices, and said, Jesus, Master, have mercy on us.
14 And when he saw them, he said unto them, Go shew yourselves unto the apriests. And it came to pass, that, as they went, they were cleansed.
15 And one of them, when he saw that he was healed, turned back, and with a loud voice glorified God,
16 And fell down on his face at his feet, giving him athanks: and he was a Samaritan.
17 And Jesus answering said, Were there not ten acleansed? but where are the bnine?
18 There are not found that returned to give glory to God, save this stranger.
19 And he said unto him, Arise, go thy way: thy faith hath made thee whole.
20 ¶ And when he was demanded of the Pharisees, when the akingdom of God should come, he answered them and said, The kingdom of God cometh not with observation:
21 Neither shall they say, Lo here! or, lo there! for, behold, the akingdom of God bis cwithin you.
22 And he said unto the disciples, The days will come, when ye shall desire to see one of the days of the Son of man, and ye shall not see it.
23 And they shall say to you, See here; or, asee there: go not after them, nor follow them.
24 For as the lightning, that lighteneth out of the one part under heaven, shineth unto the other part under heaven; so shall also the Son of man be in his aday.
25 But first must he suffer many things, and be rejected of this generation.
26 And as it was in the days of aNoe, so shall it be also in the days of the Son of man.
27 They did eat, they drank, they married wives, they were given in marriage, until the day that Noe entered into the ark, and the aflood came, and destroyed them all.
28 Likewise also as it was in the days of Lot; they did eat, they drank, they bought, they sold, they planted, they builded;
29 But the same day that Lot went out of aSodom it rained fire and brimstone from heaven, and destroyed them all.
30 Even thus shall it be in the day when the Son of man is revealed.
31 In that day, he which shall be upon the housetop, and his stuff in the house, let him not come down to take it away: and he that is in the field, let him likewise not return back.
33 Whosoever shall seek to save his life shall lose it; and whosoever shall alose his life shall preserve it.
34 I tell you, in that night there shall be two men in one bed; the one shall be taken, and the other shall be left.
35 Two women shall be grinding together; the one shall be taken, and the other left.
36 Two men shall be in the field; the one shall be taken, and the other left.
37 aAnd they answered and said unto him, Where, Lord? And he said unto them, Wheresoever the body is, thither will the eagles be gathered together.
