제 21 장
가난한 과부의 헌금(막 12:41-44)
1 예수께서 눈을 들어 부자들이 헌금함에 헌금 넣는 것을 보시고
2 또 어떤 가난한 과부가 두 렙돈 넣는 것을 보시고
3 이르시되 내가 참으로 너희에게 말하노니 이 가난한 과부가 다른 모든 사람보다 많이 넣었도다
4 저들은 그 풍족한 중에서 헌금을 넣었거니와 이 과부는 그 가난한 중에서 자기가 가지고 있는 생활비 전부를 넣었느니라 하시니라
성전이 무너뜨려질 것을 이르시다(마 24:1-2; 막 13:1-2)
5 어떤 사람들이 성전을 가리켜 그 아름다운 돌과 헌물로 꾸민 것을 말하매 예수께서 이르시되
6 너희 보는 이것들이 날이 이르면 돌 하나도 돌 위에 남지 않고 다 무너뜨려지리라
7 그들이 물어 이르되 선생님이여 그러면 어느 때에 이런 일이 있겠사오며 이런 일이 일어나려 할 때에 무슨 징조가 있사오리이까
8 이르시되 미혹을 받지 않도록 주의하라 많은 사람이 내 이름으로 와서 이르되 내가 그라 하며 때가 가까이 왔다 하겠으나 그들을 따르지 말라
9 난리와 소요의 소문을 들을 때에 두려워하지 말라 이 일이 먼저 있어야 하되 끝은 곧 되지 아니하리라
환난의 징조(마 24:3-14; 막 13:3-13)
10 또 이르시되 민족이 민족을, 나라가 나라를 대적하여 일어나겠고
11 곳곳에 큰 지진과 기근과 전염병이 있겠고 또 무서운 일과 하늘로부터 큰 징조들이 있으리라
12 이 모든 일 전에 내 이름으로 말미암아 너희에게 손을 대어 박해하며 회당과 옥에 넘겨 주며 임금들과 집권자들 앞에 끌어 가려니와
13 이 일이 도리어 너희에게 증거가 되리라
14 그러므로 너희는 변명할 것을 미리 궁리하지 않도록 명심하라
15 내가 너희의 모든 대적이 능히 대항하거나 변박할 수 없는 구변과 지혜를 너희에게 주리라
16 심지어 부모와 형제와 친척과 벗이 너희를 넘겨 주어 너희 중의 몇을 죽이게 하겠고
17 또 너희가 내 이름으로 말미암아 모든 사람에게 미움을 받을 것이나
18 너희 머리털 하나도 상하지 아니하리라
19 너희의 인내로 너희 영혼을 얻으리라
예루살렘의 환난과 인자의 오심(마 24:15-21, 29-31; 막 13:14-19, 24-27)
20 너희가 예루살렘이 군대들에게 에워싸이는 것을 보거든 그 멸망이 가까운 줄을 알라
21 그 때에 유대에 있는 자들은 산으로 도망갈 것이며 성내에 있는 자들은 나갈 것이며 촌에 있는 자들은 그리로 들어가지 말지어다
22 이 날들은 기록된 모든 것을 이루는 징벌의 날이니라
23 그 날에는 아이 밴 자들과 젖먹이는 자들에게 화가 있으리니 이는 땅에 큰 환난과 이 백성에게 진노가 있겠음이로다
24 그들이 칼날에 죽임을 당하며 모든 이방에 사로잡혀 가겠고 예루살렘은 이방인의 때가 차기까지 이방인들에게 밟히리라
25 일월 성신에는 징조가 있겠고 땅에서는 민족들이 바다와 파도의 성난 소리로 인하여 혼란한 중에 곤고하리라
26 사람들이 세상에 임할 일을 생각하고 무서워하므로 기절하리니 이는 하늘의 권능들이 흔들리겠음이라
27 그 때에 사람들이 인자가 구름을 타고 능력과 큰 영광으로 오는 것을 보리라
28 이런 일이 되기를 시작하거든 일어나 머리를 들라 너희 속량이 가까웠느니라 하시더라
무화과나무에서 배울 교훈(마 24:32-35; 막 13:28-31)
29 이에 비유로 이르시되 무화과나무와 모든 나무를 보라
30 싹이 나면 너희가 보고 여름이 가까운 줄을 자연히 아나니
31 이와 같이 너희가 이런 일이 일어나는 것을 보거든 하나님의 나라가 가까이 온 줄을 알라
32 내가 진실로 너희에게 말하노니 이 세대가 지나가기 전에 모든 일이 다 이루어지리라
33 천지는 없어지겠으나 내 말은 없어지지 아니하리라
항상 기도하며 깨어 있으라
34 너희는 스스로 조심하라 그렇지 않으면 방탕함과 술취함과 생활의 염려로 마음이 둔하여지고 뜻밖에 그 날이 덫과 같이 너희에게 임하리라
35 이 날은 온 지구상에 거하는 모든 사람에게 임하리라
36 이러므로 너희는 장차 올 이 모든 일을 능히 피하고 인자 앞에 서도록 항상 기도하며 깨어 있으라 하시니라
37 예수께서 낮에는 성전에서 가르치시고 밤에는 나가 감람원이라 하는 산에서 쉬시니
38 모든 백성이 그 말씀을 들으려고 이른 아침에 성전에 나아가더라
CAPÍTULO 21
Jesús predice la destrucción del templo y de Jerusalén — Habla de las señales que precederán a Su segunda venida y enseña la parábola de la higuera.
1 Y mirando, Jesús vio a los ricos que echaban sus ofrendas en el arca del tesoro.
2 Y vio también a una viuda pobre que echaba allí dos ablancas.
3 Entonces dijo: En verdad os digo que esta viuda pobre echó más que todos.
4 Porque todos estos, de lo que les sobra echaron para las ofrendas de Dios; mas ella, de su pobreza, echó todo el sustento que tenía.
5 Y a unos que hablaban de que el templo estaba adornado de hermosas piedras y dádivas, dijo:
6 En cuanto a estas cosas que veis, días vendrán en que no quedará apiedra sobre piedra que no sea destruida.
7 Y le preguntaron, diciendo: Maestro, ¿cuándo será esto? ¿Y qué aseñal habrá cuando estas cosas estén a punto de suceder?
8 Él entonces dijo: Mirad que no seáis engañados, porque vendrán muchos en mi nombre, diciendo: Yo soy; y: el tiempo está cerca; por tanto, no vayáis en pos de ellos.
9 Pero cuando oigáis de guerras y de sediciones, no os espantéis; porque es necesario que estas cosas acontezcan primero; mas el fin no será inmediatamente.
10 Entonces les dijo: Se levantará anación contra nación y reino contra reino;
11 y habrá grandes terremotos y, en varios lugares, hambres y apestilencias; y habrá cosas terribles y grandes señales del cielo.
12 Pero antes de todas estas cosas os echarán mano y os aperseguirán, entregándoos a las sinagogas y a las cárceles, y seréis llevados ante reyes y ante gobernadores por causa de mi nombre.
13 Y esto os será ocasión para dar testimonio.
14 Proponeos, pues, en vuestros corazones no apensar de antemano cómo habéis de responder;
15 porque yo os daré palabras y asabiduría, a las cuales no podrán resistir ni contradecir ninguno de los que se os opongan.
16 Y seréis entregados aun por vuestros padres, y hermanos, y parientes y amigos; y matarán a algunos de vosotros.
17 Y seréis aborrecidos por todos por acausa de mi nombre.
18 Pero ni un acabello de vuestra cabeza perecerá.
19 Con vuestra apaciencia bganaréis vuestras almas.
20 Y cuando veáis a aJerusalén rodeada de ejércitos, sabed entonces que su destrucción ha llegado.
21 Entonces, los que estén en Judea, huyan a los montes; y los que estén en medio de ella, váyanse; y los que estén en los acampos, no entren en ella.
22 Porque estos son días de venganza, para que se cumplan todas las cosas que están escritas.
23 Pero, ¡ay de las que estén encintas y de las que críen en aquellos días!, porque habrá gran calamidad en la tierra e ira sobre este pueblo.
24 Y acaerán a filo de espada y serán llevados cautivos a todas las naciones; y Jerusalén será hollada por los bgentiles hasta que se cumplan los tiempos de los gentiles.
25 aEntonces habrá señales en el sol, y en la luna y en las estrellas; y en la tierra habrá angustia de las naciones y confusión ante el bramido del mar y de las olas;
26 adesfalleciendo los hombres a causa del temor y de la expectación de las cosas que sobrevendrán en la tierra, porque los poderes de los cielos serán bsacudidos.
27 Y entonces verán al Hijo del Hombre que vendrá en una anube con poder y gran gloria.
28 Y cuando estas cosas comiencen a suceder, mirad y levantad vuestras cabezas, porque vuestra redención está cerca.
29 Y también les dijo una parábola: Mirad la ahiguera y todos los árboles.
30 Cuando veis que ya brotan, vosotros mismos entendéis que el verano ya está cerca.
31 Así también vosotros, cuando veáis suceder estas cosas, sabed que está cerca el reino de Dios.
32 De cierto os digo que no pasará aesta generación hasta que todo esto haya acontecido.
33 El cielo y la tierra pasarán, pero mis palabras no pasarán.
34 Y mirad por vosotros, que vuestros corazones no se carguen de glotonería, y de embriaguez y de las preocupaciones de esta vida, y venga de repente sobre vosotros aquel adía;
35 porque como una atrampa vendrá sobre todos los que habitan sobre la faz de toda la tierra.
36 Velad, pues, aorando en todo tiempo bque seáis tenidos por cdignos de escapar de todas estas cosas que han de venir, y de estar de pie delante del dHijo del Hombre.
37 Y enseñaba de día en el templo; y de noche, saliendo, se quedaba en el monte que se llama de los Olivos.
38 Y todo el pueblo venía a él por la mañana para oírle en el templo.
CHAPTER 21
Jesus foretells the destruction of the temple and of Jerusalem—He tells of the signs to precede His Second Coming and gives the parable of the fig tree.
1 And he looked up, and saw the arich men casting their gifts into the treasury.
2 And he saw also a certain poor widow casting in thither two amites.
3 And he said, Of a truth I say unto you, that this poor widow hath cast in more than they all:
4 For all these have of their abundance cast in unto the offerings of God: but she of her penury hath cast in all the living that she had.
5 ¶ And as some spake of the temple, how it was adorned with goodly stones and gifts, he said,
6 As for these things which ye behold, the days will come, in the which there shall not be left one astone upon another, that shall not be thrown down.
7 And they asked him, saying, Master, but when shall these things be? and what asign will there be when these things shall come to pass?
8 And he said, Take heed that ye be not deceived: for many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ; and the time draweth near: go ye not therefore after them.
9 But when ye shall hear of wars and commotions, be not terrified: for these things must first come to pass; but the end is not by and by.
10 Then said he unto them, aNation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom:
11 And great earthquakes shall be in divers places, and famines, and apestilences; and fearful sights and great signs shall there be from heaven.
12 But before all these, they shall lay their hands on you, and apersecute you, delivering you up to the synagogues, and into prisons, being brought before kings and rulers for my name’s sake.
13 And it shall turn to you for a testimony.
14 Settle it therefore in your hearts, not to ameditate before what ye shall banswer:
15 For I will give you a mouth and awisdom, which all your adversaries shall not be able to bgainsay nor resist.
16 And ye shall be betrayed both by parents, and brethren, and kinsfolks, and friends; and some of you shall they cause to be put to death.
17 And ye shall be hated of all men for my name’s asake.
18 But there shall not an ahair of your head perish.
19 In your apatience bpossess ye your souls.
20 And when ye shall see aJerusalem compassed with barmies, then know that the cdesolation thereof is nigh.
21 Then let them which are in Judæa flee to the mountains; and let them which are in the midst of it depart out; and let not them that are in the acountries enter thereinto.
22 For these be the days of vengeance, that all things which are written may be fulfilled.
23 But woe unto them that are with child, and to them that give suck, in those days! for there shall be great distress in the land, and wrath upon this people.
24 And they shall fall by the edge of the sword, and shall be aled away bcaptive into all cnations: and Jerusalem shall be dtrodden down of the eGentiles, until the times of the Gentiles be fulfilled.
25 ¶ aAnd there shall be signs in the sun, and in the bmoon, and in the stars; and upon the earth distress of nations, with perplexity; the sea and the waves roaring;
26 Men’s hearts afailing them for fear, and for looking after those things which are coming on the earth: for the powers of heaven shall be bshaken.
27 And then shall they see the Son of man coming in a acloud with power and great glory.
28 And when these things begin to come to pass, then look up, and lift up your heads; for your aredemption draweth nigh.
29 And he spake to them a parable; Behold the afig tree, and all the trees;
30 When they now shoot forth, ye see and know of your own selves that summer is now nigh at hand.
31 So likewise ye, when ye see these things come to pass, know ye that the kingdom of God is nigh at hand.
32 Verily I say unto you, aThis generation shall not pass away, till all be fulfilled.
33 Heaven and earth shall pass away: but my words shall not pass away.
34 ¶ And take heed to yourselves, lest at any time your hearts be overcharged with asurfeiting, and drunkenness, and bcares of this life, and so that cday come upon you dunawares.
35 For as a asnare shall it come on all them that dwell on the face of the whole earth.
36 aWatch ye therefore, and bpray always, cthat ye may be accounted dworthy to escape all these things that shall come to pass, and to stand before the eSon of man.
37 And in the day time he was ateaching in the temple; and at night he went out, and abode in the mount that is called the mount of Olives.
38 And all the people came early in the morning to him in the temple, for to hear him.
