제 24 장
1 안식 후 첫날 새벽에 이 여자들이 그 준비한 향품을 가지고 무덤에 가서
2 돌이 무덤에서 굴려 옮겨진 것을 보고
3 들어가니 주 예수의 시체가 보이지 아니하더라
4 이로 인하여 근심할 때에 문득 찬란한 옷을 입은 두 사람이 곁에 섰는지라
5 여자들이 두려워 얼굴을 땅에 대니 두 사람이 이르되 어찌하여 살아 있는 자를 죽은 자 가운데서 찾느냐
6 여기 계시지 않고 살아나셨느니라 갈릴리에 계실 때에 너희에게 어떻게 말씀하셨는지를 기억하라
7 이르시기를 인자가 죄인의 손에 넘겨져 십자가에 못 박히고 제삼일에 다시 살아나야 하리라 하셨느니라 한대
8 그들이 예수의 말씀을 기억하고
9 무덤에서 돌아가 이 모든 것을 열한 사도와 다른 모든 이에게 알리니
10 (이 여자들은 막달라마리아와 요안나와 야고보의 모친마리아라 또 그들과 함께 한 다른 여자들도 이것을 사도들에게 알리니라)
11 사도들은 그들의 말이 허탄한 듯이 들려 믿지 아니하나
12 베드로는 일어나 무덤에 달려가서 구부려 들여다 보니 세마포만 보이는지라 그 된 일을 놀랍게 여기며 집으로 돌아가니라
엠마오 길에서 제자들에게 나타나시다(막 16:12-13)
13 그 날에 그들 중 둘이 예루살렘에서 이십오 리 되는 엠마오라 하는 마을로 가면서
14 이 모든 된 일을 서로 이야기하더라
15 그들이 서로 이야기하며 문의할 때에 예수께서 가까이 이르러 그들과 동행하시나
16 그들의 눈이 가리어져서 그인 줄 알아보지 못하거늘
17 예수께서 이르시되 너희가 길 가면서 서로 주고받고 하는 이야기가 무엇이냐 하시니 두 사람이 슬픈 빛을 띠고 머물러 서더라
18 그 한 사람인 글로바라 하는 자가 대답하여 이르되 당신이 예루살렘에 체류하면서도 요즘 거기서 된 일을 혼자만 알지 못하느냐
19 이르시되 무슨 일이냐 이르되 나사렛 예수의 일이니 그는 하나님과 모든 백성 앞에서 말과 일에 능하신 선지자이거늘
20 우리 대제사장들과 관리들이 사형 판결에 넘겨 주어 십자가에 못 박았느니라
21 우리는 이 사람이 이스라엘을 속량할 자라고 바랐노라 이뿐 아니라 이 일이 일어난 지가 사흘째요
22 또한 우리 중에 어떤 여자들이 우리로 놀라게 하였으니 이는 그들이 새벽에 무덤에 갔다가
23 그의 시체는 보지 못하고 와서 그가 살아나셨다 하는 천사들의 나타남을 보았다 함이라
24 또 우리와 함께 한 자 중에 두어 사람이 무덤에 가 과연 여자들이 말한 바와 같음을 보았으나 예수는 보지 못하였느니라 하거늘
25 이르시되 미련하고 선지자들이 말한 모든 것을 마음에 더디 믿는 자들이여
26 그리스도가 이런 고난을 받고 자기의 영광에 들어가야 할 것이 아니냐 하시고
27 이에 모세와 모든 선지자의 글로 시작하여 모든 성경에 쓴 바 자기에 관한 것을 자세히 설명하시니라
28 그들이 가는 마을에 가까이 가매 예수는 더 가려 하는 것 같이 하시니
29 그들이 강권하여 이르되 우리와 함께 유하사이다 때가 저물어가고 날이 이미 기울었나이다 하니 이에 그들과 함께 유하러 들어가시니라
30 그들과 함께 음식 잡수실 때에 떡을 가지사 축사하시고 떼어 그들에게 주시니
31 그들의 눈이 밝아져 그인 줄 알아 보더니 예수는 그들에게 보이지 아니하시는지라
32 그들이 서로 말하되 길에서 우리에게 말씀하시고 우리에게 성경을 풀어 주실 때에 우리 속에서 마음이 뜨겁지 아니하더냐 하고
33 곧 그 때로 일어나 예루살렘에 돌아가 보니 열한 제자 및 그들과 함께 한 자들이 모여 있어
34 말하기를 주께서 과연 살아나시고 시몬에게 보이셨다 하는지라
35 두 사람도 길에서 된 일과 예수께서 떡을 떼심으로 자기들에게 알려지신 것을 말하더라
열한 제자에게 나타나시다(마 28:16-20; 막 16:14-18; 요 20:19-23; 행 1:6-8)
36 이 말을 할 때에 예수께서 친히 그들 가운데 서서 이르시되 너희에게 평강이 있을지어다 하시니
37 그들이 놀라고 무서워하여 그 보는 것을 영으로 생각하는지라
38 예수께서 이르시되 어찌하여 두려워하며 어찌하여 마음에 의심이 일어나느냐
39 내 손과 발을 보고 나인 줄 알라 또 나를 만져 보라 영은 살과 뼈가 없으되 너희 보는 바와 같이 나는 있느니라
40 이 말씀을 하시고 손과 발을 보이시나
41 그들이 너무 기쁘므로 아직도 믿지 못하고 놀랍게 여길 때에 이르시되 여기 무슨 먹을 것이 있느냐 하시니
42 이에 구운 생선 한 토막을 드리니
43 받으사 그 앞에서 잡수시더라
44 또 이르시되 내가 너희와 함께 있을 때에 너희에게 말한 바 곧 모세의 율법과 선지자의 글과 시편에 나를 가리켜 기록된 모든 것이 이루어져야 하리라 한 말이 이것이라 하시고
45 이에 그들의 마음을 열어 성경을 깨닫게 하시고
46 또 이르시되 이같이 그리스도가 고난을 받고 제삼일에 죽은 자 가운데서 살아날 것과
47 또 그의 이름으로 죄 사함을 받게 하는 회개가 예루살렘에서 시작하여 모든 족속에게 전파될 것이 기록되었으니
48 너희는 이 모든 일의 증인이라
49 볼지어다 내가 내 아버지께서 약속하신 것을 너희에게 보내리니 너희는 위로부터 능력으로 입혀질 때까지 이 성에 머물라 하시니라
하늘로 올려지시다(막 16:19-20; 행 1:9-11)
50 예수께서 그들을 데리고 베다니 앞까지 나가사 손을 들어 그들에게 축복하시더니
51 축복하실 때에 그들을 떠나 [하늘로 올려지시니]
52 그들이 [그에게 경배하고] 큰 기쁨으로 예루살렘에 돌아가
53 늘 성전에서 하나님을 찬송하니라
CAPÍTULO 24
Los ángeles anuncian la resurrección de Cristo — Jesús anda por el camino a Emaús — Se aparece en Su cuerpo resucitado de carne y hueso, come, testifica de Su divinidad y promete el Espíritu Santo — Asciende al cielo.
1 Y el primer día de la semana, muy de mañana, ellas fueron al sepulcro, llevando las especias aromáticas que habían preparado, y algunas otras mujeres con ellas.
2 aY hallaron removida la piedra del sepulcro.
3 Y, al entrar, no hallaron el cuerpo del Señor Jesús.
4 Y aconteció que, estando ellas perplejas por esto, he aquí se pusieron de pie junto a ellas dos varones con vestiduras resplandecientes;
5 y como ellas tuvieron temor e inclinaron el rostro a tierra, les dijeron: ¿Por qué buscáis entre los muertos al que vive?
6 No está aquí, sino que ha aresucitado; acordaos de lo que os habló, cuando aún estaba en Galilea,
7 diciendo: Es menester que el Hijo del Hombre sea entregado en manos de hombres pecadores, y que sea crucificado y resucite al tercer día.
8 Entonces ellas se acordaron de sus palabras,
9 y volviendo del sepulcro, dieron nuevas de todas estas cosas a los once y a todos los demás.
10 Y eran María Magdalena, y Juana, y María, madre de Jacobo, y las demás con ellas, las que dijeron estas cosas a los apóstoles.
11 Mas a ellos les parecían locura las palabras de ellas, y no las creyeron.
12 Pero levantándose Pedro, corrió al sepulcro y, cuando miró dentro, vio solo los lienzos allí; y se fue a casa, maravillándose de lo que había sucedido.
13 Y he aquí, dos de ellos iban el mismo día a una aldea llamada Emaús, que estaba acomo a sesenta estadios de Jerusalén.
14 E iban hablando entre sí de todas aquellas cosas que habían acaecido.
15 Y aconteció que, mientras hablaban entre sí y se preguntaban el uno al otro, aJesús mismo se acercó e iba con ellos juntamente.
16 Pero los ojos de ellos estaban avelados, para que no le conociesen.
17 Y les dijo: ¿Qué pláticas son estas que tenéis entre vosotros mientras camináis, estando tristes?
18 Y respondiendo uno de ellos, que se llamaba aCleofas, le dijo: ¿Eres tú el único forastero en Jerusalén que no ha sabido las cosas que en ella han acontecido en estos días?
19 Entonces él les dijo: ¿Qué cosas? Y ellos le dijeron: De Jesús nazareno, que fue varón aprofeta, poderoso en obra y en palabra delante de Dios y de todo el pueblo;
20 y cómo le entregaron los principales sacerdotes y nuestros gobernantes a sentencia de muerte y le crucificaron.
21 Mas nosotros esperábamos que él era el que iba a aredimir a Israel; y ahora, además de todo esto, hoy es el tercer día desde que esto ha acontecido.
22 Aunque también nos han asombrado unas mujeres de entre nosotros, las que fueron temprano al sepulcro;
23 y como no hallaron su cuerpo, vinieron diciendo que también habían visto visión de ángeles, quienes les dijeron que él vive.
24 Y fueron algunos de los nuestros al sepulcro y hallaron así como las mujeres habían dicho, pero a él no le vieron.
25 Entonces él les dijo: ¡Oh ainsensatos y btardos de corazón para creer todo lo que los profetas han dicho!
26 ¿No era necesario que el Cristo padeciera estas cosas y que entrara en su gloria?
27 Y comenzando desde aMoisés y siguiendo por todos los bprofetas, les declaraba en todas las cEscrituras lo que de él decían.
28 Y llegaron a la aldea adonde iban; y él hizo como que iba más lejos.
29 Pero ellos le insistieron, diciendo: Quédate con nosotros, porque se hace tarde, y el día ya ha declinado. Entró, pues, a quedarse con ellos.
30 Y aconteció que, estando sentado con ellos a la mesa, tomó el pan, lo bendijo, y lo partió y les dio.
31 Entonces fueron abiertos los ojos de ellos y le reconocieron; mas él se desapareció de su vista.
32 Y se decían el uno al otro: ¿No ardía nuestro acorazón en nosotros mientras nos bhablaba en el camino y cuando nos abría las Escrituras?
33 Y levantándose en esa misma hora, volvieron a Jerusalén; y hallaron a los once reunidos y a los que estaban con ellos,
34 que decían: Verdaderamente ha resucitado el Señor y ha aaparecido a bSimón.
35 Entonces ellos contaron las cosas que les habían acontecido en el camino, y cómo le habían reconocido al partir el pan.
36 Y mientras ellos aún hablaban de estas cosas, Jesús se puso en medio de ellos y les dijo: aPaz a vosotros.
37 Entonces ellos, espantados y atemorizados, pensaban que veían un espíritu.
38 Mas él les dijo: ¿Por qué estáis turbados y surgen dudas en vuestros corazones?
39 Mirad mis manos y mis pies, que yo mismo soy; apalpad y ved, porque un bespíritu no tiene ccarne ni huesos como dveis que yo tengo.
40 Y diciendo esto, les mostró las manos y los pies.
41 Y como aún ellos, de gozo, no lo creían y estaban maravillados, les dijo: ¿Tenéis aquí algo de comer?
42 Entonces ellos le dieron parte de un pescado asado y un panal de miel.
43 Y él lo tomó y comió delante de ellos.
44 Y él les dijo: Estas son las palabras que os hablé estando aún con vosotros: que era necesario que ase cumpliesen todas las cosas que están escritas de mí en la ley de Moisés, y en los profetas y en los salmos.
45 Entonces les abrió el aentendimiento para que comprendiesen las Escrituras;
46 y les dijo: Así está escrito, y así fue necesario que el Cristo padeciese y aresucitase de los muertos al tercer día;
47 y que se predicase en su nombre el aarrepentimiento y la bremisión de pecados en todas las naciones, comenzando desde Jerusalén.
48 Y vosotros sois atestigos de estas cosas.
49 Y he aquí, yo enviaré la promesa de mi Padre sobre vosotros; mas vosotros quedaos en la ciudad de Jerusalén hasta que seáis investidos con poder de lo alto.
50 Y los llevó fuera hasta Betania y, alzando sus manos, los bendijo.
51 Y aconteció que, mientras los bendecía, se alejó de ellos y fue allevado arriba al cielo.
52 Y ellos, después de haberle adorado, volvieron a Jerusalén con gran gozo;
53 y estaban siempre en el atemplo, alabando y bendiciendo a Dios. Amén.
CHAPTER 24
Angels announce the resurrection of Christ—He walks on the Emmaus road—He appears with a body of flesh and bones, eats food, testifies of His divinity, and promises the Holy Ghost—He ascends into heaven.
1 Now upon the first day of the week, very early in the morning, they came unto the asepulchre, bringing the spices which they had prepared, and certain others with them.
2 aAnd they found the stone rolled away from the sepulchre.
3 And they entered in, and found not the body of the Lord Jesus.
4 And it came to pass, as they were much perplexed thereabout, behold, two men stood by them in shining garments:
5 And as they were afraid, and bowed down their faces to the earth, they said unto them, Why seek ye the living among the dead?
6 He is not here, but is arisen: remember how he spake unto you when he was yet in Galilee,
7 Saying, The Son of man must be delivered into the hands of sinful men, and be crucified, and the third day rise again.
8 And they remembered his words,
9 And returned from the sepulchre, and told all these things unto the eleven, and to all the rest.
10 It was Mary Magdalene, and Joanna, and Mary the mother of James, and other women that were with them, which told these things unto the apostles.
11 And their words seemed to them as idle tales, and they believed them not.
12 Then arose Peter, and ran unto the sepulchre; and stooping down, he beheld the linen clothes laid by themselves, and departed, wondering in himself at that which was come to pass.
13 ¶ And, behold, two of them went that same day to a village called Emmaus, which was from Jerusalem aabout threescore furlongs.
14 And they talked together of all these things which had happened.
15 And it came to pass, that, while they acommuned together and reasoned, bJesus himself drew near, and went with them.
16 But their eyes were aholden that they should not know him.
17 And he said unto them, What manner of communications are these that ye have one to another, as ye walk, and are sad?
18 And the one of them, whose name was aCleopas, answering said unto him, Art thou only a stranger in Jerusalem, and hast not known the things which are come to pass there in these days?
19 And he said unto them, What things? And they said unto him, Concerning Jesus of Nazareth, which was a prophet mighty in deed and word before God and all the people:
20 And how the chief priests and our rulers delivered him to be condemned to death, and have crucified him.
21 But we trusted that it had been he which should have redeemed Israel: and beside all this, to day is the third day since these things were done.
22 Yea, and certain women also of our company made us astonished, which were early at the sepulchre;
23 And when they found not his body, they came, saying, that they had also seen a vision of angels, which said that he was alive.
24 And certain of them which were with us went to the sepulchre, and found it even so as the women had said: but him they saw not.
25 Then he said unto them, O afools, and slow of bheart to cbelieve all that the prophets have spoken:
26 Ought not Christ to have suffered these things, and to enter into his glory?
27 And beginning at aMoses and all the bprophets, he cexpounded unto them in all the dscriptures the things concerning himself.
28 And they drew nigh unto the village, whither they went: and he made as though he would have gone further.
29 But they constrained him, saying, Abide with us: for it is toward evening, and the day is far spent. And he went in to tarry with them.
30 And it came to pass, as he sat at meat with them, he took bread, and blessed it, and brake, and gave to them.
31 And their eyes were opened, and they knew him; and he vanished out of their sight.
32 And they said one to another, Did not our aheart bburn within us, while he ctalked with us by the way, and while he opened to us the scriptures?
33 And they rose up the same hour, and returned to Jerusalem, and found the eleven gathered together, and them that were with them,
34 Saying, The Lord is risen indeed, and hath aappeared to bSimon.
35 And they told what things were done in the way, and how he was known of them in breaking of bread.
36 ¶ And as they thus spake, Jesus himself astood in the midst of them, and saith unto them, bPeace be unto you.
37 But they were terrified and affrighted, and supposed that they had seen a spirit.
38 And he said unto them, Why are ye troubled? and why do athoughts arise in your hearts?
39 Behold my hands and my feet, that it is I myself: ahandle me, and see; for a bspirit hath not cflesh and bones, as ye dsee me have.
40 And when he had thus spoken, he shewed them his hands and his feet.
41 And while they yet believed not for joy, and awondered, he said unto them, Have ye here any meat?
42 And they gave him a piece of a broiled fish, and of an honeycomb.
43 And he took it, and did eat before them.
44 And he said unto them, These are the words which I spake unto you, while I was yet with you, that all things must be afulfilled, which were written in the law of Moses, and in the prophets, and in the psalms, concerning me.
45 Then opened he their aunderstanding, that they might understand the scriptures,
46 And said unto them, Thus it is written, and thus it abehoved Christ to suffer, and to brise from the dead the third day:
47 And that arepentance and bremission of sins should be cpreached in his name among all nations, beginning at Jerusalem.
48 And ye are awitnesses of these things.
49 ¶ And, behold, I send the apromise of my Father upon you: but tarry ye in the city of Jerusalem, until ye be bendued with power from on high.
50 ¶ And he led them out as far as to Bethany, and he lifted up his hands, and blessed them.
51 And it came to pass, while he blessed them, he was parted from them, and acarried up into heaven.
52 And they worshipped him, and returned to Jerusalem with great joy:
53 And were continually in the atemple, praising and blessing God. Amen.
