제 24 장

제사장 직분을 맡은 사람들

1   아론 자손의 계열들이 이러하니라 아론의 아들들은 나답과 아비후와 엘르아살과 이다말이라

2   나답과 아비후가 그들의 아버지보다 먼저 죽고 그들에게 아들이 없으므로 엘르아살과 이다말이 제사장의 직분을 행하였더라

3   다윗이 엘르아살의 자손 사독과 이다말의 자손 아히멜렉과 더불어 그들을 나누어 각각 그 섬기는 직무를 맡겼는데

4   엘르아살의 자손 중에 우두머리가 이다말의 자손보다 많으므로 나눈 것이 이러하니 엘르아살 자손의 우두머리가 열여섯 명이요 이다말 자손은 그 조상들의 가문을 따라 여덟 명이라

5   이에 제비 뽑아 피차에 차등이 없이 나누었으니 이는 성전의 일을 다스리는 자와 하나님의 일을 다스리는 자가 엘르아살의 자손 중에도 있고 이다말의 자손 중에도 있음이라

6   레위 사람 느다넬의 아들 서기관 스마야가 왕과 방백과 제사장 사독과 아비아달의 아들 아히멜렉과 및 제사장과 레위 사람의 우두머리 앞에서 그 이름을 기록하여 엘르아살의 자손 중에서 한 집을 뽑고 이다말의 자손 중에서 한 집을 뽑았으니

7   첫째로 제비 뽑힌 자는 여호야립이요 둘째는 여다야요

8   셋째는 하림이요 넷째는 스오림이요

9   다섯째는 말기야요 여섯째는 미야민이요

10   일곱째는 학고스요 여덟째는 아비야요

11   아홉째는 예수아요 열째는 스가냐요

12   열한째는 엘리아십이요 열두째는 야김이요

13   열셋째는 훕바요 열넷째는 예세브압이요

14   열다섯째는 빌가요 열여섯째는 임멜이요

15   열일곱째는 헤실이요 열여덟째는 합비세스요

16   열아홉째는 브다히야요 스무째는 여헤스겔이요

17   스물한째는 야긴이요 스물두째는 가물이요

18   스물셋째는 들라야요 스물넷째는 마아시야라

19   이와 같은 직무에 따라 여호와의 성전에 들어가서 그의 아버지 아론을 도왔으니 이는 이스라엘의 하나님 여호와께서 명하신 규례더라

레위 자손 중에 남은 자들

20   레위 자손 중에 남은 자는 이러하니 아므람의 아들들 중에는 수바엘이요 수바엘의 아들들 중에는 예드야며

21   르하뱌에게 이르러는 그의 아들들 중에 우두머리 잇시야요

22   이스할의 아들들 중에는 슬로못이요 슬로못의 아들들 중에는 야핫이요

23   헤브론의 아들들은 장자 여리야와 둘째 아마랴와 셋째 야하시엘과 넷째 여가므암이요

24   웃시엘의 아들들은 미가요 미가의 아들들 중에는 사밀이요

25   미가의 아우는 잇시야라 잇시야의 아들들 중에는 스가랴이며

26   므라리의 아들들은 마흘리와 무시요 야아시야의 아들들은 브노이니

27   므라리의 자손 야아시야에게서 난 자는 브노와 소함과 삭굴과 이브리요

28   마흘리의 아들 중에는 엘르아살이니 엘르아살은 아들이 없으며

29   기스에게 이르러는 그의 아들 여라므엘이요

30   무시의 아들들은 마흘리와 에델과 여리못이니 이는 다 그 조상의 가문에 따라 기록한 레위 자손이라

31   이 여러 사람도 다윗 왕과 사독과 아히멜렉과 제사장과 레위 우두머리 앞에서 그들의 형제 아론 자손처럼 제비 뽑혔으니 장자의 가문과 막내 동생의 가문이 다름이 없더라

1También los hijos de Aarón fueron distribuidos en grupos. Los hijos de Aarón: Nadab, Abiú, Eleazar e Itamar. 2Mas como Nadab y Abiú murieron antes que su padre, y no tuvieron hijos, Eleazar e Itamar ejercieron el sacerdocio. 3Y David, con Sadoc de los hijos de Eleazar, y Ahimelec de los hijos de Itamar, los repartió por sus turnos en el ministerio. 4Y de los hijos de Eleazar había más varones principales que de los hijos de Itamar; y los repartieron así: De los hijos de Eleazar, dieciséis cabezas de casas paternas; y de los hijos de Itamar, por sus casas paternas, ocho. 5Los repartieron, pues, por suerte los unos con los otros; porque de los hijos de Eleazar y de los hijos de Itamar hubo príncipes del santuario, y príncipes de la casa de Dios. 6Y el escriba Semaías hijo de Natanael, de los levitas, escribió sus nombres en presencia del rey y de los príncipes, y delante de Sadoc el sacerdote, de Ahimelec hijo de Abiatar y de los jefes de las casas paternas de los sacerdotes y levitas, designando por suerte una casa paterna para Eleazar, y otra para Itamar.

7La primera suerte tocó a Joiarib, la segunda a Jedaías, 8la tercera a Harim, la cuarta a Seorim, 9la quinta a Malquías, la sexta a Mijamín, 10la séptima a Cos, la octava a Abías, 11la novena a Jesúa, la décima a Secanías, 12la undécima a Eliasib, la duodécima a Jaquim, 13la decimatercera a Hupa, la decimacuarta a Jesebeab, 14la decimaquinta a Bilga, la decimasexta a Imer, 15la decimaséptima a Hezir, la decimaoctava a Afses, 16la decimanovena a Petaías, la vigésima a Hezequiel, 17la vigesimaprimera a Jaquín, la vigesimasegunda a Gamul, 18la vigesimatercera a Delaía, la vigesimacuarta a Maazías. 19Estos fueron distribuidos para su ministerio, para que entrasen en la casa de Jehová, según les fue ordenado por Aarón su padre, de la manera que le había mandado Jehová el Dios de Israel.

20Y de los hijos de Leví que quedaron: Subael, de los hijos de Amram; y de los hijos de Subael, Jehedías. 21Y de los hijos de Rehabías, Isías el jefe. 22De los izharitas, Selomot; e hijo de Selomot, Jahat. 23De los hijos de Hebrón: Jerías el jefe, el segundo Amarías, el tercero Jahaziel, el cuarto Jecamán. 24Hijo de Uziel, Micaía; e hijo de Micaía, Samir. 25Hermano de Micaía, Isías; e hijo de Isías, Zacarías. 26Los hijos de Merari: Mahli y Musi; hijo de Jaazías, Beno. 27Los hijos de Merari por Jaazías: Beno, Soham, Zacur e Ibri. 28Y de Mahli, Eleazar, quien no tuvo hijos. 29Hijo de Cis, Jerameel. 30Los hijos de Musi: Mahli, Edar y Jerimot. Estos fueron los hijos de los levitas conforme a sus casas paternas. 31Estos también echaron suertes, como sus hermanos los hijos de Aarón, delante del rey David, y de Sadoc y de Ahimelec, y de los jefes de las casas paternas de los sacerdotes y levitas; el principal de los padres igualmente que el menor de sus hermanos.

David Organizes the Priests

1The divisions of the sons of Aaron were these. The sons of Aaron: Nadab, Abihu, Eleazar, and Ithamar. 2But Nadab and Abihu died before their father and had no children, so Eleazar and Ithamar became the priests. 3With the help of Zadok of the sons of Eleazar, and Ahimelech of the sons of Ithamar, David organized them according to the appointed duties in their service. 4Since more chief men were found among the sons of Eleazar than among the sons of Ithamar, they organized them under sixteen heads of fathers’ houses of the sons of Eleazar, and eight of the sons of Ithamar. 5They divided them by lot, all alike, for there were sacred officers and officers of God among both the sons of Eleazar and the sons of Ithamar. 6And the scribe Shemaiah, the son of Nethanel, a Levite, recorded them in the presence of the king and the princes and Zadok the priest and Ahimelech the son of Abiathar and the heads of the fathers’ houses of the priests and of the Levites, one father’s house being chosen for Eleazar and one chosen for Ithamar.

7The first lot fell to Jehoiarib, the second to Jedaiah, 8the third to Harim, the fourth to Seorim, 9the fifth to Malchijah, the sixth to Mijamin, 10the seventh to Hakkoz, the eighth to Abijah, 11the ninth to Jeshua, the tenth to Shecaniah, 12the eleventh to Eliashib, the twelfth to Jakim, 13the thirteenth to Huppah, the fourteenth to Jeshebeab, 14the fifteenth to Bilgah, the sixteenth to Immer, 15the seventeenth to Hezir, the eighteenth to Happizzez, 16the nineteenth to Pethahiah, the twentieth to Jehezkel, 17the twenty-first to Jachin, the twenty-second to Gamul, 18the twenty-third to Delaiah, the twenty-fourth to Maaziah. 19These had as their appointed duty in their service to come into the house of the Lord according to the procedure established for them by Aaron their father, as the Lord God of Israel had commanded him.

20And of the rest of the sons of Levi: of the sons of Amram, Shubael; of the sons of Shubael, Jehdeiah. 21Of Rehabiah: of the sons of Rehabiah, Isshiah the chief. 22Of the Izharites, Shelomoth; of the sons of Shelomoth, Jahath. 23The sons of Hebron: Jeriah the chief, Amariah the second, Jahaziel the third, Jekameam the fourth. 24The sons of Uzziel, Micah; of the sons of Micah, Shamir. 25The brother of Micah, Isshiah; of the sons of Isshiah, Zechariah. 26The sons of Merari: Mahli and Mushi. The sons of Jaaziah: Beno. 27The sons of Merari: of Jaaziah, Beno, Shoham, Zaccur, and Ibri. 28Of Mahli: Eleazar, who had no sons. 29Of Kish, the sons of Kish: Jerahmeel. 30The sons of Mushi: Mahli, Eder, and Jerimoth. These were the sons of the Levites according to their fathers’ houses. 31These also, the head of each father’s house and his younger brother alike, cast lots, just as their brothers the sons of Aaron, in the presence of King David, Zadok, Ahimelech, and the heads of fathers’ houses of the priests and of the Levites.
