제 26 장

성전 문지기

1   고라 사람들의 문지기 반들은 이러하니라 아삽의 가문 중 고레의 아들 므셀레먀라

2   므셀레먀의 아들들인 맏아들 스가랴와 둘째 여디야엘과 셋째 스바댜와 넷째 야드니엘과

3   다섯째 엘람과 여섯째 여호하난과 일곱째 엘여호에내이며

4   오벧에돔의 아들들은 맏아들 스마야와 둘째 여호사밧과 셋째 요아와 넷째 사갈과 다섯째 느다넬과

5   여섯째 암미엘과 일곱째 잇사갈과 여덟째 브울래대이니 이는 하나님이 오벧에돔에게 복을 주셨음이라

6   그의 아들 스마야도 두어 아들을 낳았으니 그들의 조상의 가문을 다스리는 자요 큰 용사라

7   스마야의 아들들은 오드니와 르바엘과 오벳과 엘사밧이며 엘사밧의 형제 엘리후와 스마갸는 능력이 있는 자이니

8   이는 다 오벧에돔의 자손이라 그들과 그의 아들들과 그의 형제들은 다 능력이 있어 그 직무를 잘하는 자이니 오벧에돔에게서 난 자가 육십이 명이며

9   또 므셀레먀의 아들과 형제 열여덟 명은 능력이 있는 자라

10   므라리 자손 중 호사에게도 아들들이 있으니 그의 장자는 시므리라 시므리는 본래 맏아들이 아니나 그의 아버지가 장자로 삼았고

11   둘째는 힐기야요 셋째는 드발리야요 넷째는 스가랴이니 호사의 아들들과 형제들이 열세 명이더라

12   이상은 다 문지기의 반장으로서 그 형제처럼 직임을 얻어 여호와의 성전에서 섬기는 자들이라

13   각 문을 지키기 위하여 그의 조상의 가문을 따라 대소를 막론하고 다 제비 뽑혔으니

14   셀레먀는 동쪽을 뽑았고 그의 아들 스가랴는 명철한 모사라 모사를 위하여 제비 뽑으니 북쪽을 뽑았고

15   오벧에돔은 남쪽을 뽑았고 그의 아들들은 곳간에 뽑혔으며

16   숩빔과 호사는 서쪽을 뽑아 큰 길로 통한 살래겟 문 곁에 있어 서로 대하여 파수하였으니

17   동쪽 문에 레위 사람이 여섯이요 북쪽 문에 매일 네 사람이요 남쪽 문에 매일 네 사람이요 곳간에는 둘씩이며

18   서쪽 뜰에 있는 큰 길에 네 사람 그리고 뜰에 두 사람이라

19   고라와 므라리 자손의 문지기의 직책은 이러하였더라

성전 곳간을 맡은 사람들

20   레위 사람 중에 아히야는 하나님의 전 곳간과 성물 곳간을 맡았으며

21   라단의 자손은 곧 라단에게 속한 게르손 사람의 자손이니 게르손 사람 라단에게 속한 가문의 우두머리는 여히엘리라

22   여히엘리의 아들들은 스담과 그의 아우 요엘이니 여호와의 성전 곳간을 맡았고

23   아므람 자손과 이스할 자손과 헤브론 자손과 웃시엘 자손 중에

24   모세의 아들 게르솜의 자손 스브엘은 곳간을 맡았고

25   그의 형제 곧 엘리에셀에게서 난 자는 그의 아들 르하뱌와 그의 아들 여사야와 그의 아들 요람과 그의 아들 시그리와 그의 아들 슬로못이라

26   이 슬로못과 그의 형제는 성물의 모든 곳간을 맡았으니 곧 다윗 왕과 가문의 우두머리와 천부장과 백부장과 군대의 모든 지휘관이 구별하여 드린 성물이라

27   그들이 싸울 때에 노략하여 얻은 물건 중에서 구별하여 드려 여호와의 성전을 개수한 일과

28   선견자 사무엘과 기스의 아들 사울과 넬의 아들 아브넬과 스루야의 아들 요압이 무엇이든지 구별하여 드린 성물은 다 슬로못과 그의 형제의 지휘를 받았더라

29   이스할 자손 중에 그나냐와 그의 아들들은 성전 밖에서 이스라엘의 일을 다스리는 관원과 재판관이 되었고

30   헤브론 자손 중에 하사뱌와 그의 동족 용사 천칠백 명은 요단 서쪽에서 이스라엘을 주관하여 여호와의 모든 일과 왕을 섬기는 직임을 맡았으며

31   헤브론 자손 중에서는 여리야가 그의 족보와 종족대로 헤브론 자손의 우두머리가 되었더라 다윗이 왕 위에 있은 지 사십 년에 길르앗 야셀에서 그들 중에 구하여 큰 용사를 얻었으니

32   그의 형제 중 이천칠백 명이 다 용사요 가문의 우두머리라 다윗 왕이 그들로 르우벤과 갓과 므낫세 반 지파를 주관하여 하나님의 모든 일과 왕의 일을 다스리게 하였더라

Porteros y oficiales

1También fueron distribuidos los porteros: de los coreítas, Meselemías hijo de Coré, de los hijos de Asaf. 2Los hijos de Meselemías: Zacarías el primogénito, Jediael el segundo, Zebadías el tercero, Jatniel el cuarto, 3Elam el quinto, Johanán el sexto, Elioenai el séptimo. 4Los hijos de Obed-edom: Semaías el primogénito, Jozabad el segundo, Joa el tercero, el cuarto Sacar, el quinto Natanael, 5el sexto Amiel, el séptimo Isacar, el octavo Peultai; porque Dios había bendecido a Obed-edom. 6También de Semaías su hijo nacieron hijos que fueron señores sobre la casa de sus padres; porque eran varones valerosos y esforzados. 7Los hijos de Semaías: Otni, Rafael, Obed, Elzabad, y sus hermanos, hombres esforzados; asimismo Eliú y Samaquías. 8Todos estos de los hijos de Obed-edom; ellos con sus hijos y sus hermanos, hombres robustos y fuertes para el servicio; sesenta y dos, de Obed-edom. 9Y los hijos de Meselemías y sus hermanos, dieciocho hombres valientes. 10De Hosa, de los hijos de Merari: Simri el jefe (aunque no era el primogénito, mas su padre lo puso por jefe), 11el segundo Hilcías, el tercero Tebalías, el cuarto Zacarías; todos los hijos de Hosa y sus hermanos fueron trece.

12Entre estos se hizo la distribución de los porteros, alternando los principales de los varones en la guardia con sus hermanos, para servir en la casa de Jehová. 13Echaron suertes, el pequeño con el grande, según sus casas paternas, para cada puerta. 14Y la suerte para la del oriente cayó a Selemías. Y metieron en las suertes a Zacarías su hijo, consejero entendido; y salió la suerte suya para la del norte. 15Y para Obed-edom la puerta del sur, y a sus hijos la casa de provisiones del templo. 16Para Supim y Hosa, la del occidente, la puerta de Salequet, en el camino de la subida, correspondiéndose guardia con guardia. 17Al oriente seis levitas, al norte cuatro de día; al sur cuatro de día; y a la casa de provisiones de dos en dos. 18En la cámara de los utensilios al occidente, cuatro al camino, y dos en la cámara. 19Estas son las distribuciones de los porteros, hijos de los coreítas y de los hijos de Merari.

20Y de los levitas, Ahías tenía cargo de los tesoros de la casa de Dios, y de los tesoros de las cosas santificadas. 21Cuanto a los hijos de Laadán hijo de Gersón: de Laadán, los jefes de las casas paternas de Laadán gersonita fueron los jehielitas.

22Los hijos de Jehieli, Zetam y Joel su hermano, tuvieron cargo de los tesoros de la casa de Jehová. 23De entre los amramitas, de los izharitas, de los hebronitas y de los uzielitas, 24Sebuel hijo de Gersón, hijo de Moisés, era jefe sobre los tesoros. 25En cuanto a su hermano Eliezer, hijo de este era Rehabías, hijo de este Jesaías, hijo de este Joram, hijo de este Zicri, del que fue hijo Selomit. 26Este Selomit y sus hermanos tenían a su cargo todos los tesoros de todas las cosas santificadas que había consagrado el rey David, y los jefes de las casas paternas, los capitanes de millares y de centenas, y los jefes del ejército; 27de lo que habían consagrado de las guerras y de los botines, para reparar la casa de Jehová. 28Asimismo todas las cosas que había consagrado el vidente Samuel, y Saúl hijo de Cis, Abner hijo de Ner y Joab hijo de Sarvia, y todo lo que cualquiera consagraba, estaba a cargo de Selomit y de sus hermanos.

29De los izharitas, Quenanías y sus hijos eran gobernadores y jueces sobre Israel en asuntos exteriores. 30De los hebronitas, Hasabías y sus hermanos, hombres de vigor, mil setecientos, gobernaban a Israel al otro lado del Jordán, al occidente, en toda la obra de Jehová, y en el servicio del rey. 31De los hebronitas, Jerías era el jefe de los hebronitas repartidos en sus linajes por sus familias. En el año cuarenta del reinado de David se registraron, y fueron hallados entre ellos hombres fuertes y vigorosos en Jazer de Galaad. 32Y sus hermanos, hombres valientes, eran dos mil setecientos, jefes de familias, los cuales el rey David constituyó sobre los rubenitas, los gaditas y la media tribu de Manasés, para todas las cosas de Dios y los negocios del rey.

Divisions of the Gatekeepers

1As for the divisions of the gatekeepers: of the Korahites, Meshelemiah the son of Kore, of the sons of Asaph. 2And Meshelemiah had sons: Zechariah the firstborn, Jediael the second, Zebadiah the third, Jathniel the fourth, 3Elam the fifth, Jehohanan the sixth, Eliehoenai the seventh. 4And Obed-edom had sons: Shemaiah the firstborn, Jehozabad the second, Joah the third, Sachar the fourth, Nethanel the fifth, 5Ammiel the sixth, Issachar the seventh, Peullethai the eighth, for God blessed him. 6Also to his son Shemaiah were sons born who were rulers in their fathers’ houses, for they were men of great ability. 7The sons of Shemaiah: Othni, Rephael, Obed and Elzabad, whose brothers were able men, Elihu and Semachiah. 8All these were of the sons of Obed-edom with their sons and brothers, able men qualified for the service; sixty-two of Obed-edom. 9And Meshelemiah had sons and brothers, able men, eighteen. 10And Hosah, of the sons of Merari, had sons: Shimri the chief (for though he was not the firstborn, his father made him chief), 11Hilkiah the second, Tebaliah the third, Zechariah the fourth: all the sons and brothers of Hosah were thirteen.

12These divisions of the gatekeepers, corresponding to their chief men, had duties, just as their brothers did, ministering in the house of the Lord. 13And they cast lots by fathers’ houses, small and great alike, for their gates. 14The lot for the east fell to Shelemiah. They cast lots also for his son Zechariah, a shrewd counselor, and his lot came out for the north. 15Obed-edom’s came out for the south, and to his sons was allotted the gatehouse. 16For Shuppim and Hosah it came out for the west, at the gate of Shallecheth on the road that goes up. Watch corresponded to watch. 17On the east there were six each day, on the north four each day, on the south four each day, as well as two and two at the gatehouse. 18And for the colonnade on the west there were four at the road and two at the colonnade. 19These were the divisions of the gatekeepers among the Korahites and the sons of Merari.

Treasurers and Other Officials

20And of the Levites, Ahijah had charge of the treasuries of the house of God and the treasuries of the dedicated gifts. 21The sons of Ladan, the sons of the Gershonites belonging to Ladan, the heads of the fathers’ houses belonging to Ladan the Gershonite: Jehieli.

22 The sons of Jehieli, Zetham, and Joel his brother, were in charge of the treasuries of the house of the Lord. 23Of the Amramites, the Izharites, the Hebronites, and the Uzzielites— 24and Shebuel the son of Gershom, son of Moses, was chief officer in charge of the treasuries. 25His brothers: from Eliezer were his son Rehabiah, and his son Jeshaiah, and his son Joram, and his son Zichri, and his son Shelomoth. 26This Shelomoth and his brothers were in charge of all the treasuries of the dedicated gifts that David the king and the heads of the fathers’ houses and the officers of the thousands and the hundreds and the commanders of the army had dedicated. 27From spoil won in battles they dedicated gifts for the maintenance of the house of the Lord. 28Also all that Samuel the seer and Saul the son of Kish and Abner the son of Ner and Joab the son of Zeruiah had dedicated—all dedicated gifts were in the care of Shelomoth and his brothers.

29Of the Izharites, Chenaniah and his sons were appointed to external duties for Israel, as officers and judges. 30Of the Hebronites, Hashabiah and his brothers, 1,700 men of ability, had the oversight of Israel westward of the Jordan for all the work of the Lord and for the service of the king. 31Of the Hebronites, Jerijah was chief of the Hebronites of whatever genealogy or fathers’ houses. (In the fortieth year of David’s reign search was made and men of great ability among them were found at Jazer in Gilead.) 32King David appointed him and his brothers, 2,700 men of ability, heads of fathers’ houses, to have the oversight of the Reubenites, the Gadites and the half-tribe of the Manassites for everything pertaining to God and for the affairs of the king.
