제 9 장

포로 생활에서 돌아온 백성

1   온 이스라엘이 그 계보대로 계수되어 그들은 이스라엘 왕조실록에 기록되니라 유다가 범죄함으로 말미암아 바벨론으로 사로잡혀 갔더니

2   그들의 땅 안에 있는 성읍에 처음으로 거주한 이스라엘 사람들은 제사장들과 레위 사람들과 느디님 사람들이라

3   유다 자손과 베냐민 자손과 에브라임과 므낫세 자손 중에서 예루살렘에 거주한 자는

4   유다의 아들 베레스 자손 중에 우대이니 그는 암미훗의 아들이요 오므리의 손자요 이므리의 증손이요 바니의 현손이며

5   실로 사람 중에서는 맏아들 아사야와 그의 아들들이요

6   세라 자손 중에서는 여우엘과 그 형제 육백구십 명이요

7   베냐민 자손 중에서는 핫스누아의 증손 호다위아의 손자 므술람의 아들 살루요

8   여로함의 아들 이브느야와 미그리의 손자 웃시의 아들 엘라요 이브니야의 증손 르우엘의 손자 스바댜의 아들 무술람이요

9   또 그의 형제들이라 그들의 계보대로 계수하면 구백오십육 명이니 다 종족의 가문의 우두머리들이더라

예루살렘에 정착한 제사장들

10   제사장 중에서는 여다야와 여호야립과 야긴과

11   하나님의 성전을 맡은 자 아사랴이니 그는 힐기야의 아들이요 므술람의 손자요 사독의 증손이요 므라욧의 현손이요 아히둡의 오대손이며

12   또 아다야이니 그는 여로함의 아들이요 바스훌의 손자요 말기야의 증손이며 또 마아새니 그는 아디엘의 아들이요 야세라의 손자요 므술람의 증손이요 므실레밋의 현손이요 임멜의 오대손이며

13   또 그의 형제들이니 종족의 가문의 우두머리라 하나님의 성전의 임무를 수행할 힘있는 자는 모두 천칠백육십 명이더라

예루살렘에 정착한 레위 사람들

14   레위 사람 중에서는 므라리 자손 스마야이니 그는 핫숩의 아들이요 아스리감의 손자요 하사뱌의 증손이며

15   또 박박갈과 헤레스와 갈랄과 맛다냐이니 그는 미가의 아들이요 시그리의 손자요 아삽의 증손이며

16   또 오바댜이니 그는 스마야의 아들이요 갈랄의 손자요 여두둔의 증손이며 또 베레갸이니 그는 아사의 아들이요 엘가나의 손자라 느도바 사람의 마을에 거주하였더라

예루살렘에 정착한 회막 문지기

17   문지기는 살룸과 악굽과 달몬과 아히만과 그의 형제들이니 살룸은 그 우두머리라

18   이 사람들은 전에 왕의 문 동쪽 곧 레위 자손의 진영의 문지기이며

19   고라의 증손 에비아삽의 손자 고레의 아들 살룸과 그의 종족 형제 곧 고라의 자손이 수종 드는 일을 맡아 성막 문들을 지켰으니 그들의 조상들도 여호와의 진영을 맡고 출입문을 지켰으며

20   여호와께서 함께 하신 엘르아살의 아들 비느하스가 옛적에 그의 무리를 거느렸고

21   므셀레먀의 아들 스가랴는 회막 문지기가 되었더라

22   택함을 입어 문지기 된 자가 모두 이백열두 명이니 이는 그들의 마을에서 그들의 계보대로 계수된 자요 다윗과 선견자 사무엘이 전에 세워서 이 직분을 맡긴 자라

23   그들과 그들의 자손이 그 순차를 좇아 여호와의 성전 곧 성막 문을 지켰는데

24   이 문지기가 동, 서, 남, 북 사방에 섰고

25   그들의 마을에 있는 형제들은 이레마다 와서 그들과 함께 있으니

26   이는 문지기의 우두머리 된 레위 사람 넷이 중요한 직분을 맡아 하나님의 성전 모든 방과 곳간을 지켰음이라

27   그들은 하나님의 성전을 맡은 직분이 있으므로 성전 주위에서 밤을 지내며 아침마다 문을 여는 책임이 그들에게 있었더라

나머지 레위 사람들

28   그 중에 어떤 자는 섬기는 데 쓰는 기구를 맡아서 그 수효대로 들여가고 수효대로 내오며

29   또 어떤 자는 성소의 기구와 모든 그릇과 고운 가루와 포도주와 기름과 유향과 향품을 맡았으며

30   또 제사장의 아들 중의 어떤 자는 향품으로 향기름을 만들었으며

31   고라 자손 살룸의 맏아들 맛디댜라 하는 레위 사람은 전병을 굽는 일을 맡았으며

32   또 그의 형제 그핫 자손 중에 어떤 자는 진설하는 떡을 맡아 안식일마다 준비하였더라

33   또 찬송하는 자가 있으니 곧 레위 우두머리라 그들은 골방에 거주하면서 주야로 자기 직분에 전념하므로 다른 일은 하지 아니하였더라

34   그들은 다 레위 가문의 우두머리이며 그들의 족보의 우두머리로서 예루살렘에 거주하였더라

사울의 족보(대상 8:29-38)

35   기브온의 조상 여이엘은 기브온에 거주하였으니 그의 아내의 이름은 마아가라

36   그의 맏아들은 압돈이요 다음은 술과 기스와 바알과 넬과 나답과

37   그돌과 아히오와 스가랴와 미글롯이며

38   미글롯은 시므암을 낳았으니 그들은 그들의 친족들과 더불어 마주하고 예루살렘에 거주하였더라

39   넬은 기스를 낳고 기스는 사울을 낳고 사울은 요나단과 말기수아와 아비나답과 에스바알을 낳았으며

40   요나단의 아들은 므립바알이라 므립바알은 미가를 낳았고

41   미가의 아들들은 비돈과 멜렉과 다레아와 아하스이며

42   아하스는 야라를 낳고 야라는 알레멧과 아스마웻과 시므리를 낳고 시므리는 모사를 낳고

43   모사는 비느아를 낳았으며 비느아의 아들은 르바야요 그의 아들은 엘르아사요 그의 아들은 아셀이며

44   아셀이 여섯 아들이 있으니 그들의 이름은 아스리감과 보그루와 이스마엘과 스아랴와 오바댜와 하난이라 아셀의 아들들이 이러하였더라

Los que regresaron de Babilonia

(Neh. 11.1-24)

1Contado todo Israel por sus genealogías, fueron escritos en el libro de los reyes de Israel. Y los de Judá fueron transportados a Babilonia por su rebelión. 2Los primeros moradores que entraron en sus posesiones en las ciudades fueron israelitas, sacerdotes, levitas y sirvientes del templo. 3Habitaron en Jerusalén, de los hijos de Judá, de los hijos de Benjamín, de los hijos de Efraín y Manasés: 4Utai hijo de Amiud, hijo de Omri, hijo de Imri, hijo de Bani, de los hijos de Fares hijo de Judá. 5Y de los silonitas, Asaías el primogénito, y sus hijos. 6De los hijos de Zera, Jeuel y sus hermanos, seiscientos noventa. 7Y de los hijos de Benjamín: Salú hijo de Mesulam, hijo de Hodavías, hijo de Asenúa, 8Ibneías hijo de Jeroham, Ela hijo de Uzi, hijo de Micri, y Mesulam hijo de Sefatías, hijo de Reuel, hijo de Ibnías. 9Y sus hermanos por sus linajes fueron novecientos cincuenta y seis. Todos estos hombres fueron jefes de familia en sus casas paternas.

10De los sacerdotes: Jedaías, Joiarib, Jaquín, 11Azarías hijo de Hilcías, hijo de Mesulam, hijo de Sadoc, hijo de Meraiot, hijo de Ahitob, príncipe de la casa de Dios; 12Adaía hijo de Jeroham, hijo de Pasur, hijo de Malquías; Masai hijo de Adiel, hijo de Jazera, hijo de Mesulam, hijo de Mesilemit, hijo de Imer, 13y sus hermanos, jefes de sus casas paternas, en número de mil setecientos sesenta, hombres muy eficaces en la obra del ministerio en la casa de Dios.

14De los levitas: Semaías hijo de Hasub, hijo de Azricam, hijo de Hasabías, de los hijos de Merari, 15Bacbacar, Heres, Galal, Matanías hijo de Micaía, hijo de Zicri, hijo de Asaf; 16Obadías hijo de Semaías, hijo de Galal, hijo de Jedutún; y Berequías hijo de Asa, hijo de Elcana, el cual habitó en las aldeas de los netofatitas.

17Y los porteros: Salum, Acub, Talmón, Ahimán y sus hermanos. Salum era el jefe. 18Hasta ahora entre las cuadrillas de los hijos de Leví han sido estos los porteros en la puerta del rey que está al oriente. 19Salum hijo de Coré, hijo de Ebiasaf, hijo de Coré, y sus hermanos los coreítas por la casa de su padre, tuvieron a su cargo la obra del ministerio, guardando las puertas del tabernáculo, como sus padres guardaron la entrada del campamento de Jehová. 20Y Finees hijo de Eleazar fue antes capitán sobre ellos; y Jehová estaba con él. 21Zacarías hijo de Meselemías era portero de la puerta del tabernáculo de reunión. 22Todos estos, escogidos para guardas en las puertas, eran doscientos doce cuando fueron contados por el orden de sus linajes en sus villas, a los cuales constituyó en su oficio David y Samuel el vidente. 23Así ellos y sus hijos eran porteros por sus turnos a las puertas de la casa de Jehová, y de la casa del tabernáculo. 24Y estaban los porteros a los cuatro lados; al oriente, al occidente, al norte y al sur. 25Y sus hermanos que estaban en sus aldeas, venían cada siete días según su turno para estar con ellos. 26Porque cuatro principales de los porteros levitas estaban en el oficio, y tenían a su cargo las cámaras y los tesoros de la casa de Dios. 27Estos moraban alrededor de la casa de Dios, porque tenían el cargo de guardarla, y de abrirla todas las mañanas.

28Algunos de estos tenían a su cargo los utensilios para el ministerio, los cuales se metían por cuenta, y por cuenta se sacaban. 29Y otros de ellos tenían el cargo de la vajilla, y de todos los utensilios del santuario, de la harina, del vino, del aceite, del incienso y de las especias. 30Y algunos de los hijos de los sacerdotes hacían los perfumes aromáticos. 31Matatías, uno de los levitas, primogénito de Salum coreíta, tenía a su cargo las cosas que se hacían en sartén. 32Y algunos de los hijos de Coat, y de sus hermanos, tenían a su cargo los panes de la proposición, los cuales ponían por orden cada día de reposo.

33También había cantores, jefes de familias de los levitas, los cuales moraban en las cámaras del templo, exentos de otros servicios, porque de día y de noche estaban en aquella obra. 34Estos eran jefes de familias de los levitas por sus linajes, jefes que habitaban en Jerusalén.

Genealogía de Saúl

35En Gabaón habitaba Jehiel padre de Gabaón, el nombre de cuya mujer era Maaca; 36y su hijo primogénito Abdón, luego Zur, Cis, Baal, Ner, Nadab, 37Gedor, Ahío, Zacarías y Miclot; 38y Miclot engendró a Simeam. Estos habitaban también en Jerusalén con sus hermanos enfrente de ellos. 39Ner engendró a Cis, Cis engendró a Saúl, y Saúl engendró a Jonatán, Malquisúa, Abinadab y Es-baal. 40Hijo de Jonatán fue Merib-baal, y Merib-baal engendró a Micaía. 41Y los hijos de Micaía: Pitón, Melec, Tarea y Acaz. 42Acaz engendró a Jara, Jara engendró a Alemet, Azmavet y Zimri, y Zimri engendró a Mosa, 43y Mosa engendró a Bina, cuyo hijo fue Refaías, del que fue hijo Elasa, cuyo hijo fue Azel. 44Y Azel tuvo seis hijos, los nombres de los cuales son: Azricam, Bocru, Ismael, Searías, Obadías y Hanán. A Genealogy of the Returned Exiles

1So all Israel was recorded in genealogies, and these are written in the Book of the Kings of Israel. And Judah was taken into exile in Babylon because of their breach of faith. 2Now the first to dwell again in their possessions in their cities were Israel, the priests, the Levites, and the temple servants. 3And some of the people of Judah, Benjamin, Ephraim, and Manasseh lived in Jerusalem: 4Uthai the son of Ammihud, son of Omri, son of Imri, son of Bani, from the sons of Perez the son of Judah. 5And of the Shilonites: Asaiah the firstborn, and his sons. 6Of the sons of Zerah: Jeuel and their kinsmen, 690. 7Of the Benjaminites: Sallu the son of Meshullam, son of Hodaviah, son of Hassenuah, 8Ibneiah the son of Jeroham, Elah the son of Uzzi, son of Michri, and Meshullam the son of Shephatiah, son of Reuel, son of Ibnijah; 9and their kinsmen according to their generations, 956. All these were heads of fathers’ houses according to their fathers’ houses.

10 Of the priests: Jedaiah, Jehoiarib, Jachin, 11and Azariah the son of Hilkiah, son of Meshullam, son of Zadok, son of Meraioth, son of Ahitub, the chief officer of the house of God; 12and Adaiah the son of Jeroham, son of Pashhur, son of Malchijah, and Maasai the son of Adiel, son of Jahzerah, son of Meshullam, son of Meshillemith, son of Immer; 13besides their kinsmen, heads of their fathers’ houses, 1,760, mighty men for the work of the service of the house of God.

14 Of the Levites: Shemaiah the son of Hasshub, son of Azrikam, son of Hashabiah, of the sons of Merari; 15and Bakbakkar, Heresh, Galal and Mattaniah the son of Mica, son of Zichri, son of Asaph; 16and Obadiah the son of Shemaiah, son of Galal, son of Jeduthun, and Berechiah the son of Asa, son of Elkanah, who lived in the villages of the Netophathites.

17The gatekeepers were Shallum, Akkub, Talmon, Ahiman, and their kinsmen (Shallum was the chief); 18until then they were in the king’s gate on the east side as the gatekeepers of the camps of the Levites. 19Shallum the son of Kore, son of Ebiasaph, son of Korah, and his kinsmen of his fathers’ house, the Korahites, were in charge of the work of the service, keepers of the thresholds of the tent, as their fathers had been in charge of the camp of the Lord, keepers of the entrance. 20And Phinehas the son of Eleazar was the chief officer over them in time past; the Lord was with him. 21Zechariah the son of Meshelemiah was gatekeeper at the entrance of the tent of meeting. 22All these, who were chosen as gatekeepers at the thresholds, were 212. They were enrolled by genealogies in their villages. David and Samuel the seer established them in their office of trust. 23So they and their sons were in charge of the gates of the house of the Lord, that is, the house of the tent, as guards. 24The gatekeepers were on the four sides, east, west, north, and south. 25And their kinsmen who were in their villages were obligated to come in every seven days, in turn, to be with these, 26for the four chief gatekeepers, who were Levites, were entrusted to be over the chambers and the treasures of the house of God. 27And they lodged around the house of God, for on them lay the duty of watching, and they had charge of opening it every morning.

28Some of them had charge of the utensils of service, for they were required to count them when they were brought in and taken out. 29Others of them were appointed over the furniture and over all the holy utensils, also over the fine flour, the wine, the oil, the incense, and the spices. 30Others, of the sons of the priests, prepared the mixing of the spices, 31and Mattithiah, one of the Levites, the firstborn of Shallum the Korahite, was entrusted with making the flat cakes. 32Also some of their kinsmen of the Kohathites had charge of the showbread, to prepare it every Sabbath.

33Now these, the singers, the heads of fathers’ houses of the Levites, were in the chambers of the temple free from other service, for they were on duty day and night. 34These were heads of fathers’ houses of the Levites, according to their generations, leaders. These lived in Jerusalem.

Saul’s Genealogy Repeated

35 In Gibeon lived the father of Gibeon, Jeiel, and the name of his wife was Maacah, 36and his firstborn son Abdon, then Zur, Kish, Baal, Ner, Nadab, 37Gedor, Ahio, Zechariah, and Mikloth; 38and Mikloth was the father of Shimeam; and these also lived opposite their kinsmen in Jerusalem, with their kinsmen. 39Ner fathered Kish, Kish fathered Saul, Saul fathered Jonathan, Malchi-shua, Abinadab, and Eshbaal. 40And the son of Jonathan was Merib-baal, and Merib-baal fathered Micah. 41The sons of Micah: Pithon, Melech, Tahrea, and Ahaz. 42And Ahaz fathered Jarah, and Jarah fathered Alemeth, Azmaveth, and Zimri. And Zimri fathered Moza. 43Moza fathered Binea, and Rephaiah was his son, Eleasah his son, Azel his son. 44Azel had six sons and these are their names: Azrikam, Bocheru, Ishmael, Sheariah, Obadiah, and Hanan; these were the sons of Azel.
