제 24 장

1 여호야김 시대에 바벨론의 왕 느부갓네살이 올라오매 여호야김이 삼 년간 섬기다가 돌아서 그를 배반하였더니

2 여호와께서 그의 종 선지자들을 통하여 하신 말씀과 같이 갈대아의 부대와 아람의 부대와 모압의 부대와 암몬 자손의 부대를 여호야김에게로 보내 유다를 쳐 멸하려 하시니

3 이 일이 유다에 임함은 곧 여호와의 말씀대로 그들을 자기 앞에서 물리치고자 하심이니 이는 므낫세의 지은 모든 죄 때문이며

4 또 그가 무죄한 자의 피를 흘려 그의 피가 예루살렘에 가득하게 하였음이라 여호와께서 사하시기를 즐겨하지 아니하시니라

5 여호야김의 남은 사적과 행한 모든 일은 유다 왕 역대지략에 기록되지 아니하였느냐

6 여호야김이 그의 조상들과 함께 자매 그의 아들 여호야긴이 대신하여 왕이 되니라

7 애굽 왕이 다시는 그 나라에서 나오지 못하였으니 이는 바벨론 왕이 애굽 강에서부터 유브라데 강까지 애굽 왕에게 속한 땅을 다 점령하였음이더라

유다 왕 여호야긴(대하 36:9-10)

8 여호야긴이 왕이 될 때에 나이가 십팔 세라 예루살렘에서 석 달간 다스리니라 그의 어머니의 이름은 느후스다요 예루살렘 엘라단의 딸이더라

9 여호야긴이 그의 아버지의 모든 행위를 따라서 여호와께서 보시기에 악을 행하였더라

10 그 때에 바벨론의 왕 느부갓네살의 신복들이 예루살렘에 올라와서 그 성을 에워싸니라

11 그의 신복들이 에워쌀 때에 바벨론의 왕 느부갓네살도 그 성에 이르니

12 유다의 왕 여호야긴이 그의 어머니와 신복과 지도자들과 내시들과 함께 바벨론 왕에게 나아가매 왕이 잡으니 때는 바벨론의 왕 여덟째 해이라

13 그가 여호와의 성전의 모든 보물과 왕궁 보물을 집어내고 또 이스라엘의 왕 솔로몬이 만든 것 곧 여호와의 성전의 금 그릇을 다 파괴하였으니 여호와의 말씀과 같이 되었더라

14 그가 또 예루살렘의 모든 백성과 모든 지도자와 모든 용사 만 명과 모든 장인과 대장장이를 사로잡아 가매 비천한 자 외에는 그 땅에 남은 자가 없었더라

15 그가 여호야긴을 바벨론으로 사로잡아 가고 왕의 어머니와 왕의 아내들과 내시들과 나라에 권세 있는 자도 예루살렘에서 바벨론으로 사로잡아 가고

16 또 용사 칠천 명과 장인과 대장장이 천 명 곧 용감하여 싸움을 할 만한 모든 자들을 바벨론 왕이 바벨론으로 사로잡아 가고

17 바벨론 왕이 또 여호야긴의 숙부 맛다니야를 대신하여 왕으로 삼고 그의 이름을 고쳐 시드기야라 하였더라

유다 왕 시드기야(대하 36:11-12; 렘 52:1-3상)

18 시드기야가 왕이 될 때에 나이가 이십일 세라 예루살렘에서 십일 년간 다스리니라 그의 어머니의 이름은 하무달이요 립나인 예레미야의 딸이더라

19 그가 여호야김의 모든 행위를 따라 여호와 보시기에 악을 행한지라

20 여호와께서 예루살렘과 유다를 진노하심이 그들을 그 앞에서 쫓아내실 때까지 이르렀더라

Pero Jehová envió contra Joacim tropas de caldeos, tropas de sirios, tropas de moabitas y tropas de amonitas, los cuales envió contra Judá para que la destruyesen, conforme a la palabra de Jehová que había hablado por sus siervos los profetas. 3. Ciertamente vino esto contra Judá por mandato de Jehová, para quitarla de su presencia, por los pecados de Manasés, y por todo lo que él hizo; 4. asimismo por la sangre inocente que derramó, pues llenó a Jerusalén de sangre inocente; Jehová, por tanto, no quiso perdonar. 5. In his days, Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon came up, and Jehoiakim became his servant for three years. Then he turned and rebelled against him.
And the Lord sent against him bands of the Chaldeans and bands of the Syrians and bands of the Moabites and bands of the Ammonites, and sent them against Judah to destroy it, according to the word of the Lord that he spoke by his servants the prophets.
Surely this came upon Judah at the command of the Lord, to remove them out of his sight, for the sins of Manasseh, according to all that he had done,
and also for the innocent blood that he had shed. For he filled Jerusalem with innocent blood, and the Lord would not pardon.
Now the rest of the deeds of Jehoiakim and all that he did, are they not written in the Book of the Chronicles of the Kings of Judah?
So Jehoiakim slept with his fathers, and Jehoiachin his son reigned in his place.
And the king of Egypt did not come again out of his land, for the king of Babylon had taken all that belonged to the king of Egypt from the Brook of Egypt to the river Euphrates.

Jehoiachin was eighteen years old when he became king, and he reigned three months in Jerusalem. His mother’s name was Nehushta the daughter of Elnathan of Jerusalem.
And he did what was evil in the sight of the Lord, according to all that his father had done.

Jerusalem Captured
At that time the servants of Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon came up to Jerusalem, and the city was besieged.
And Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon came to the city while his servants were besieging it,
and Jehoiachin the king of Judah gave himself up to the king of Babylon, himself and his mother and his servants and his officials and his palace officials. The king of Babylon took him prisoner in the eighth year of his reign
and carried off all the treasures of the house of the Lord and the treasures of the king’s house, and cut in pieces all the vessels of gold in the temple of the Lord, which Solomon king of Israel had made, as the Lord had foretold.
