제 2 장

다윗이 솔로몬에게 마지막으로 이르다

1 다윗이 죽을 날이 임박하매 그의 아들 솔로몬에게 명령하여 이르되

2 내가 이제 세상 모든 사람이 가는 길로 가게 되었노니 너는 힘써 대장부가 되고

3 네 하나님 여호와의 명령을 지켜 그 길로 행하여 그 법률과 계명과 율례와 증거를 모세의 율법에 기록된 대로 지키라 그리하면 네가 무엇을 하든지 어디로 가든지 형통할지라

4 여호와께서 내 일에 대하여 말씀하시기를 만일 네 자손들이 그들의 길을 삼가 마음을 다하고 성품을 다하여 진실히 내 앞에서 행하면 이스라엘 왕위에 오를 사람이 네게서 끊어지지 아니하리라 하신 말씀을 확실히 이루게 하시리라

5 스루야의 아들 요압이 내게 행한 일 곧 이스라엘 군대의 두 사령관 넬의 아들 아브넬과 예델의 아들 아마사에게 행한 일을 네가 알거니와 그가 그들을 죽여 태평 시대에 전쟁의 피를 흘리고 전쟁의 피를 자기의 허리에 띤 띠와 발에 신은 신에 묻혔으니

6 네 지혜대로 행하여 그의 백발이 평안히 스올에 내려가지 못하게 하라

7 마땅히 길르앗 바르실래의 아들들에게 은총을 베풀어 그들이 네 상에서 먹는 자 중에 참여하게 하라 내가 네 형 압살롬의 낯을 피하여 도망할 때에 그들이 내게 나왔느니라

8 바후림 베냐민 사람 게라의 아들 시므이가 너와 함께 있나니 그는 내가 마하나임으로 갈 때에 악독한 말로 나를 저주하였느니라 그러나 그가 요단에 내려와서 나를 영접하므로 내가 여호와를 두고 맹세하여 이르기를 내가 칼로 너를 죽이지 아니하리라 하였노라

9 그러나 그를 무죄한 자로 여기지 말지어다 너는 지혜 있는 사람이므로 그에게 행할 일을 알지니 그의 백발이 피 가운데 스올에 내려가게 하라

다윗이 죽다

10 다윗이 그의 조상들과 함께 누워 다윗 성에 장사되니

11 다윗이 이스라엘 왕이 된 지 사십 년이라 헤브론에서 칠 년 동안 다스렸고 예루살렘에서 삼십삼 년 동안 다스렸더라

12 솔로몬이 그의 아버지 다윗의 왕위에 앉으니 그의 나라가 심히 견고하니라

아도니야가 죽임을 당하다

13 학깃의 아들 아도니야가 솔로몬의 어머니 밧세바에게 나아온지라 밧세바가 이르되 네가 화평한 목적으로 왔느냐 대답하되 화평한 목적이니이다

14 또 이르되 내가 말씀드릴 일이 있나이다 밧세바가 이르되 말하라

15 그가 이르되 당신도 아시는 바이거니와 이 왕위는 내 것이었고 온 이스라엘은 다 얼굴을 내게로 향하여 왕으로 삼으려 하였는데 그 왕권이 돌아가 내 아우의 것이 되었음은 여호와께로 말미암음이니이다

16 이제 내가 한 가지 소원을 당신에게 구하오니 내 청을 거절하지 마옵소서 밧세바가 이르되 말하라

17 그가 이르되 청하건대 솔로몬 왕에게 말씀하여 그가 수넴 여자 아비삭을 내게 주어 아내를 삼게 하소서 왕이 당신의 청을 거절하지 아니하리이다

18 밧세바가 이르되 좋다 내가 너를 위하여 왕께 말하리라

19 밧세바가 이에 아도니야를 위하여 말하려고 솔로몬 왕에게 이르니 왕이 일어나 영접하여 절한 후에 다시 왕좌에 앉고 그의 어머니를 위하여 자리를 베푸니 그가 그의 오른쪽에 앉는지라

20 밧세바가 이르되 내가 한 가지 작은 일로 왕께 구하오니 내 청을 거절하지 마소서 왕이 대답하되 내 어머니여 구하소서 내가 어머니의 청을 거절하지 아니하리이다

21 이르되 청하건대 수넴 여자 아비삭을 왕의 형 아도니야에게 주어 아내로 삼게 하소서

22 솔로몬 왕이 그의 어머니에게 대답하여 이르되 어찌하여 아도니야를 위하여 수넴 여자 아비삭을 구하시나이까 그는 나의 형이오니 그를 위하여 왕권도 구하옵소서 그뿐 아니라 제사장 아비아달과 스루야의 아들 요압을 위해서도 구하옵소서 하고

23 여호와를 두고 맹세하여 이르되 아도니야가 이런 말을 하였은즉 그의 생명을 잃지 아니하면 하나님은 내게 벌 위에 벌을 내리심이 마땅하니이다

24 그러므로 이제 나를 세워 내 아버지 다윗의 왕위에 오르게 하시고 허락하신 말씀대로 나를 위하여 집을 세우신 여호와께서 살아 계심을 두고 맹세하노니 아도니야는 오늘 죽임을 당하리라 하고

25 여호야다의 아들 브나야를 보내매 그가 아도니야를 쳐서 죽였더라

아비아달의 추방과 요압의 처형

26 왕이 제사장 아비아달에게 이르되 네 고향 아나돗으로 가라 너는 마땅히 죽을 자이로되 네가 내 아버지 다윗 앞에서 주 여호와의 궤를 메었고 또 내 아버지가 모든 환난을 받을 때에 너도 환난을 받았은즉 내가 오늘 너를 죽이지 아니하노라 하고

27 아비아달을 쫓아내어 여호와의 제사장 직분을 파면하니 여호와께서 실로에서 엘리의 집에 대하여 하신 말씀을 응하게 함이더라

28 그 소문이 요압에게 들리매 그가 여호와의 장막으로 도망하여 제단 뿔을 잡으니 이는 그가 다윗을 떠나 압살롬을 따르지 아니하였으나 아도니야를 따랐음이더라

29 어떤 사람이 솔로몬 왕에게 아뢰되 요압이 여호와의 장막으로 도망하여 제단 곁에 있나이다 솔로몬이 여호야다의 아들 브나야를 보내며 이르되 너는 가서 그를 치라

30 브나야가 여호와의 장막에 이르러 그에게 이르되 왕께서 나오라 하시느니라 그가 대답하되 아니라 내가 여기서 죽겠노라 브나야가 돌아가서 왕께 아뢰어 이르되 요압이 이리이리 내게 대답하더이다

31 왕이 이르되 그의 말과 같이 하여 그를 죽여 묻으라 요압이 까닭 없이 흘린 피를 나와 내 아버지의 집에서 네가 제하리라

32 여호와께서 요압의 피를 그의 머리로 돌려보내실 것은 그가 자기보다 의롭고 선한 두 사람을 쳤음이니 곧 이스라엘 군사령관 넬의 아들 아브넬과 유다 군사령관 예델의 아들 아마사를 칼로 죽였음이라 이 일을 내 아버지 다윗은 알지 못하셨나니

33 그들의 피는 영영히 요압의 머리와 그의 자손의 머리로 돌아갈지라도 다윗과 그의 자손과 그의 집과 그의 왕위에는 여호와께로 말미암는 평강이 영원히 있으리라

34 여호야다의 아들 브나야가 곧 올라가서 그를 쳐죽이매 그가 광야에 있는 자기의 집에 매장되니라

35 왕이 이에 여호야다의 아들 브나야를 요압을 대신하여 군사령관으로 삼고 또 제사장 사독으로 아비아달을 대신하게 하니라

시므이가 처형되다

36 왕이 사람을 보내어 시므이를 불러서 이르되 너는 예루살렘에서 너를 위하여 집을 짓고 거기서 살고 어디든지 나가지 말라

37 너는 분명히 알라 네가 나가서 기드론 시내를 건너는 날에는 반드시 죽임을 당하리니 네 피가 네 머리로 돌아가리라

38 시므이가 왕께 대답하되 이 말씀이 좋사오니 내 주 왕의 말씀대로 종이 그리 하겠나이다 하고 이에 날이 오래도록 예루살렘에 머무니라

39 삼 년 후에 시므이의 두 종이 가드 왕 마아가의 아들 아기스에게로 도망하여 간지라 어떤 사람이 시므이에게 말하여 이르되 당신의 종이 가드에 있나이다

40 시므이가 그 종을 찾으려고 일어나 그의 나귀에 안장을 지우고 가드로 가서 아기스에게 나아가 그의 종을 가드에서 데려왔더니

41 시므이가 예루살렘에서부터 가드에 갔다가 돌아온 일을 어떤 사람이 솔로몬에게 말한지라

42 왕이 사람을 보내어 시므이를 불러서 이르되 내가 너에게 여호와를 두고 맹세하게 하고 경고하여 이르기를 너는 분명히 알라 네가 밖으로 나가서 어디든지 가는 날에는 죽임을 당하리라 하지 아니하였느냐 너도 내게 말하기를 내가 들은 말씀이 좋으니이다 하였거늘

43 네가 어찌하여 여호와를 두고 한 맹세와 내가 네게 이른 명령을 지키지 아니하였느냐

44 왕이 또 시므이에게 이르되 네가 네 마음으로 아는 모든 악 곧 내 아버지에게 행한 바를 네가 스스로 아나니 여호와께서 네 악을 네 머리로 돌려보내시리라

45 그러나 솔로몬 왕은 복을 받고 다윗의 왕위는 영원히 여호와 앞에서 견고히 서리라 하고

46 여호야다의 아들 브나야에게 명령하매 그가 나가서 시므이를 치니 그가 죽은지라 이에 나라가 솔로몬의 손에 견고하여지니라

Guarda los preceptos de Jehová tu Dios, andando en sus caminos, y observando sus estatutos y mandamientos, sus decretos y sus testimonios, de la manera que está escrito en la ley de Moisés, para que prosperes en todo lo que hagas y en todo aquello que emprendas; 4. para que confirme Jehová la palabra que me habló, diciendo: Si tus hijos guardaren mi camino, andando delante de mí con verdad, de todo su corazón y de toda su alma, jamás, dice, faltará a ti varón en el trono de Israel. 5. Ya sabes tú lo que me ha hecho Joab hijo de Sarvia, lo que hizo a dos generales del ejército de Israel, a Abner hijo de Ner y a Amasa hijo de Jeter, a los cuales él mató, derramando en tiempo de paz la sangre de guerra, y poniendo sangre de guerra en el talabarte que tenía sobre sus lomos, y en los zapatos que tenía en sus pies. 6. Tú, pues, harás conforme a tu sabiduría; no dejarás descender sus canas al Seol en paz. 7. Mas a los hijos de Barzilai galaadita harás misericordia, que sean de los convidados a tu mesa; porque ellos vinieron de esta manera a mí, cuando iba huyendo de Absalón tu hermano. 8. También tienes contigo a Simei hijo de Gera, hijo de Benjamín, de Bahurim, el cual me maldijo con una maldición fuerte el día que yo iba a Mahanaim. Mas él mismo descendió a recibirme al Jordán, y yo le juré por Jehová diciendo: Yo no te mataré a espada. 9. Pero ahora no lo absolverás; pues hombre sabio eres, y sabes cómo debes hacer con él; y harás descender sus canas con sangre al Seol. Muerte de David (1 Cr. 29.26-30) 10. Y durmió David con sus padres, y fue sepultado en su ciudad. 11. Los días que reinó David sobre Israel fueron cuarenta años; siete años reinó en Hebrón, y treinta y tres años reinó en Jerusalén. 12. Y se sentó Salomón en el trono de David su padre, y su reino fue firme en gran manera. Salomón afirma su reino 13. Entonces Adonías hijo de Haguit vino a Betsabé madre de Salomón; y ella le dijo: ¿Es tu venida de paz? Él respondió: Sí, de paz. 14. En seguida dijo: Una palabra tengo que decirte. Y ella dijo: Di. 15. Él dijo: Tú sabes que el reino era mío, y que todo Israel había puesto en mí su rostro para que yo reinara; mas el reino fue traspasado, y vino a ser de mi hermano, porque por Jehová era suyo. 16. Ahora yo te hago una petición; no me la niegues. Y ella le dijo: Habla. 17. Él entonces dijo: Yo te ruego que hables al rey Salomón (porque él no te lo negará), para que me dé a Abisag sunamita por mujer. 18. Y Betsabé dijo: Bien; yo hablaré por ti al rey. 19. Vino Betsabé al rey Salomón para hablarle por Adonías. Y el rey se levantó a recibirla, y se inclinó ante ella, y volvió a sentarse en su trono, e hizo traer una silla para su madre, la cual se sentó a su diestra. 20. Y ella dijo: Una pequeña petición pretendo de ti; no me la niegues. Y el rey le dijo: Pide, madre mía, que yo no te la negaré. 21. Y ella dijo: Dése Abisag sunamita por mujer a tu hermano Adonías. 22. El rey Salomón respondió y dijo a su madre: ¿Por qué pides a Abisag sunamita para Adonías? Demanda también para él el reino; porque él es mi hermano mayor, y ya tiene también al sacerdote Abiatar, y a Joab hijo de Sarvia. 23. Y el rey Salomón juró por Jehová, diciendo: Así me haga Dios y aun me añada, que contra su vida ha hablado Adonías estas palabras. 24. Ahora, pues, vive Jehová, quien me ha confirmado y me ha puesto sobre el trono de David mi padre, y quien me ha hecho casa, como me había dicho, que Adonías morirá hoy. 25. Entonces el rey Salomón envió por mano de Benaía hijo de Joiada, el cual arremetió contra él, y murió. 26. Y el rey dijo al sacerdote Abiatar: Vete a Anatot, a tus heredades, pues eres digno de muerte; pero no te mataré hoy, por cuanto has llevado el arca de Jehová el Señor delante de David mi padre, y además has sido afligido en todas las cosas en que fue afligido mi padre. 27. Así echó Salomón a Abiatar del sacerdocio de Jehová, para que se cumpliese la palabra de Jehová que había dicho sobre la casa de Elí en Silo. 28. Y Jehová hará volver su sangre sobre su cabeza; porque él ha dado muerte a dos varones más justos y mejores que él, a los cuales mató a espada sin que mi padre David supiese nada: a Abner hijo de Ner, general del ejército de Israel, y a Amasa hijo de Jeter, general del ejército de Judá. 33. Be strong, and show yourself a man, 3. and keep the charge of the Lord your God, walking in his ways and keeping his statutes, his commandments, his rules, and his testimonies, as it is written in the Law of Moses, that you may prosper in all that you do and wherever you turn, 4. that the Lord may establish his word that he spoke concerning me, saying, ‘If your sons pay close attention to their way, to walk before me in faithfulness with all their heart and with all their soul, you shall not lack a man on the throne of Israel.’ 5. “Moreover, you also know what Joab the son of Zeruiah did to me, how he dealt with the two commanders of the armies of Israel, Abner the son of Ner, and Amasa the son of Jether, whom he killed, avenging in time of peace for blood that had been shed in war, and putting the blood of war on the belt around his waist and on the sandals on his feet. 6. Act therefore according to your wisdom, but do not let his gray head go down to Sheol in peace. 7. But deal loyally with the sons of Barzillai the Gileadite, and let them be among those who eat at your table, for with such loyalty they met me when I fled from Absalom your brother. 8. And there is also with you Shimei the son of Gera, the Benjaminite from Bahurim, who cursed me with a grievous curse on the day when I went to Mahanaim. But when he came down to meet me at the Jordan, I swore to him by the Lord, saying, ‘I will not put you to death with the sword.’ 9. Now therefore do not hold him guiltless, for you are a wise man. You will know what you ought to do to him, and you shall bring his gray head down with blood to Sheol.” The Death of David 10. hen David slept with his fathers and was buried in the city of David. 11. And the time that David reigned over Israel was forty years. He reigned seven years in Hebron and thirty-three years in Jerusalem. 12. So Solomon sat on the throne of David his father, and his kingdom was firmly established. Solomon’s Reign Established 13. Then Adonijah the son of Haggith came to Bathsheba the mother of Solomon. And she said, “Do you come peacefully?” He said, “Peacefully.” 14. Then he said, “I have something to say to you.” She said, “Speak.” 15. He said, “You know that the kingdom was mine, and that all Israel fully expected me to reign. However, the kingdom has turned about and become my brother’s, for it was his from the Lord. 16. And now I have one request to make of you; do not refuse me.” She said to him, “Speak.” 17. And he said, “Please ask King Solomon—he will not refuse you—to give me Abishag the Shunammite as my wife.” 18. Bathsheba said, “Very well; I will speak for you to the king.” 19. So Bathsheba went to King Solomon to speak to him on behalf of Adonijah. And the king rose to meet her and bowed down to her. Then he sat on his throne and had a seat brought for the king’s mother, and she sat on his right. 20. Then she said, “I have one small request to make of you; do not refuse me.” And the king said to her, “Make your request, my mother, for I will not refuse you.” 21. She said, “Let Abishag the Shunammite be given to Adonijah your brother as his wife.” 22. King Solomon answered his mother, “And why do you ask Abishag the Shunammite for Adonijah? Ask for him the kingdom also, for he is my older brother, and on his side are Abiathar the priest and Joab the son of Zeruiah.” 23. Then King Solomon swore by the Lord, saying, “God do so to me and more also if this word does not cost Adonijah his life! 24. Now therefore as the Lord lives, who has established me and placed me on the throne of David my father, and who has made me a house, as he promised, Adonijah shall be put to death today.” 25. So King Solomon sent Benaiah the son of Jehoiada, and he struck him down, and he died. 26. And to Abiathar the priest the king said, “Go to Anathoth, to your estate, for you deserve death. But I will not at this time put you to death, because you carried the ark of the Lord God before David my father, and because you shared in all my father’s affliction.” 27. So Solomon expelled Abiathar from being priest to the Lord, thus fulfilling the word of the Lord that he had spoken concerning the house of Eli in Shiloh. 28. When the news came to Joab—for Joab had supported Adonijah although he had not supported Absalom—Joab fled to the tent of the Lord and caught hold of the horns of the altar. 29. And when it was told King Solomon, “Joab has fled to the tent of the Lord, and behold, he is beside the altar,” Solomon sent Benaiah the son of Jehoiada, saying, “Go, strike him down.” 30. So Benaiah came to the tent of the Lord and said to him, “The king commands, ‘Come out.’” But he said, “No, I will die here.” Then Benaiah brought the king word again, saying, “Thus said Joab, and thus he answered me.” 31. The king replied to him, “Do as he has said, strike him down and bury him, and thus take away from me and from my father’s house the guilt for the blood that Joab shed without cause. 32. The Lord will bring back his bloody deeds on his own head, because, without the knowledge of my father David, he attacked and killed with the sword two men more righteous and better than himself, Abner the son of Ner, commander of the army of Israel, and Amasa the son of Jether, commander of the army of Judah. 33. So shall their blood come back on the head of Joab and on the head of his descendants forever. But for David and for his descendants and for his house and for his throne there shall be peace from the Lord forevermore.” 34. Then Benaiah the son of Jehoiada went up and struck him down and put him to death. And he was buried in his own house in the wilderness. 35. The king put Benaiah the son of Jehoiada over the army in place of Joab, and the king put Zadok the priest in the place of Abiathar. 36. Then the king sent and summoned Shimei and said to him, “Build yourself a house in Jerusalem and dwell there, and do not go out from there to any place whatever. 37. For on the day you go out and cross the brook Kidron, know for certain that you shall die. Your blood shall be on your own head.” 38. And Shimei said to the king, “What you say is good; as my lord the king has said, so will your servant do.” So Shimei lived in Jerusalem many days. 39. But it happened at the end of three years that two of Shimei’s servants ran away to Achish, son of Maacah, king of Gath. And when it was told Shimei, “Behold, your servants are in Gath,” 40. Shimei arose and saddled a donkey and went to Gath to Achish to seek his servants. Shimei went and brought his servants from Gath. 41. And when Solomon was told that Shimei had gone from Jerusalem to Gath and returned, 42. the king sent and summoned Shimei and said to him, “Did I not make you swear by the Lord and solemnly warn you, saying, ‘Know for certain that on the day you go out and go to any place whatever, you shall die’? And you said to me, ‘What you say is good; I will obey.’ 43. Why then have you not kept your oath to the Lord and the commandment with which I commanded you?” 44. The king also said to Shimei, “You know in your own heart all the harm that you did to David my father. So the Lord will bring back your harm on your own head. 45. But King Solomon shall be blessed, and the throne of David shall be established before the Lord forever.” 46. Then the king commanded Benaiah the son of Jehoiada, and he went out and struck him down, and he died. So the kingdom was established in the hand of Solomon.

Mandato de David a Salomón

Llegaron los días en que David había de morir, y ordenó a Salomón su hijo, diciendo:
Yo sigo el camino de todos en la tierra; esfuérzate, y sé hombre.
Guarda los preceptos de Jehová tu Dios, andando en sus caminos, y observando sus estatutos y mandamientos, sus decretos y sus testimonios, de la manera que está escrito en la ley de Moisés, para que prosperes en todo lo que hagas y en todo aquello que emprendas;
para que confirme Jehová la palabra que me habló, diciendo: Si tus hijos guardaren mi camino, andando delante de mí con verdad, de todo su corazón y de toda su alma, jamás, dice, faltará a ti varón en el trono de Israel.
Ya sabes tú lo que me ha hecho Joab hijo de Sarvia, lo que hizo a dos generales del ejército de Israel, a Abner hijo de Ner y a Amasa hijo de Jeter, a los cuales él mató, derramando en tiempo de paz la sangre de guerra, y poniendo sangre de guerra en el talabarte que tenía sobre sus lomos, y en los zapatos que tenía en sus pies.
Tú, pues, harás conforme a tu sabiduría; no dejarás descender sus canas al Seol en paz.
Mas a los hijos de Barzilai galaadita harás misericordia, que sean de los convidados a tu mesa; porque ellos vinieron de esta manera a mí, cuando iba huyendo de Absalón tu hermano.
También tienes contigo a Simei hijo de Gera, hijo de Benjamín, de Bahurim, el cual me maldijo con una maldición fuerte el día que yo iba a Mahanaim. Mas él mismo descendió a recibirme al Jordán, y yo le juré por Jehová diciendo: Yo no te mataré a espada.
Pero ahora no lo absolverás; pues hombre sabio eres, y sabes cómo debes hacer con él; y harás descender sus canas con sangre al Seol.

Muerte de David (1 Cr. 29.26-30)
Y durmió David con sus padres, y fue sepultado en su ciudad.
Los días que reinó David sobre Israel fueron cuarenta años; siete años reinó en Hebrón, y treinta y tres años reinó en Jerusalén.
Y se sentó Salomón en el trono de David su padre, y su reino fue firme en gran manera.

Salomón afirma su reino
Entonces Adonías hijo de Haguit vino a Betsabé madre de Salomón; y ella le dijo: ¿Es tu venida de paz? Él respondió: Sí, de paz.
En seguida dijo: Una palabra tengo que decirte. Y ella dijo: Di.
Él dijo: Tú sabes que el reino era mío, y que todo Israel había puesto en mí su rostro para que yo reinara; mas el reino fue traspasado, y vino a ser de mi hermano, porque por Jehová era suyo.
Ahora yo te hago una petición; no me la niegues. Y ella le dijo: Habla.
Él entonces dijo: Yo te ruego que hables al rey Salomón (porque él no te lo negará), para que me dé a Abisag sunamita por mujer.
Y Betsabé dijo: Bien; yo hablaré por ti al rey.
Vino Betsabé al rey Salomón para hablarle por Adonías. Y el rey se levantó a recibirla, y se inclinó ante ella, y volvió a sentarse en su trono, e hizo traer una silla para su madre, la cual se sentó a su diestra.
Y ella dijo: Una pequeña petición pretendo de ti; no me la niegues. Y el rey le dijo: Pide, madre mía, que yo no te la negaré.
Y ella dijo: Dése Abisag sunamita por mujer a tu hermano Adonías.
El rey Salomón respondió y dijo a su madre: ¿Por qué pides a Abisag sunamita para Adonías? Demanda también para él el reino; porque él es mi hermano mayor, y ya tiene también al sacerdote Abiatar, y a Joab hijo de Sarvia.
Y el rey Salomón juró por Jehová, diciendo: Así me haga Dios y aun me añada, que contra su vida ha hablado Adonías estas palabras.
Ahora, pues, vive Jehová, quien me ha confirmado y me ha puesto sobre el trono de David mi padre, y quien me ha hecho casa, como me había dicho, que Adonías morirá hoy.
Entonces el rey Salomón envió por mano de Benaía hijo de Joiada, el cual arremetió contra él, y murió.
Y el rey dijo al sacerdote Abiatar: Vete a Anatot, a tus heredades, pues eres digno de muerte; pero no te mataré hoy, por cuanto has llevado el arca de Jehová el Señor delante de David mi padre, y además has sido afligido en todas las cosas en que fue afligido mi padre.
Así echó Salomón a Abiatar del sacerdocio de Jehová, para que se cumpliese la palabra de Jehová que había dicho sobre la casa de Elí en Silo.

David’s Instructions to Solomon
