제 22 장

선지자 미가야가 아합에게 경고하다(대하 18:2-27)

1 아람과 이스라엘 사이에 전쟁이 없이 삼 년을 지냈더라

2 셋째 해에 유다의 여호사밧 왕이 이스라엘의 왕에게 내려가매

3 이스라엘의 왕이 그의 신하들에게 이르되 길르앗 라못은 본래 우리의 것인 줄을 너희가 알지 못하느냐 우리가 어찌 아람의 왕의 손에서 도로 찾지 아니하고 잠잠히 있으리요 하고

4 여호사밧에게 이르되 당신은 나와 함께 길르앗 라못으로 가서 싸우시겠느냐 여호사밧이 이스라엘 왕에게 이르되 나는 당신과 같고 내 백성은 당신의 백성과 같고 내 말들도 당신의 말들과 같으니이다

5 여호사밧이 또 이스라엘의 왕에게 이르되 청하건대 먼저 여호와의 말씀이 어떠하신지 물어 보소서

6 이스라엘의 왕이 이에 선지자 사백 명쯤 모으고 그들에게 이르되 내가 길르앗 라못에 가서 싸우랴 말랴 그들이 이르되 올라가소서 주께서 그 성읍을 왕의 손에 넘기시리이다

7 여호사밧이 이르되 이 외에 우리가 물을 만한 여호와의 선지자가 여기 있지 아니하니이까

8 이스라엘의 왕이 여호사밧 왕에게 이르되 아직도 이믈라의 아들 미가야 한 사람이 있으니 그로 말미암아 여호와께 물을 수 있으나 그는 내게 대하여 길한 일은 예언하지 아니하고 흉한 일만 예언하기로 내가 그를 미워하나이다 여호사밧이 이르되 왕은 그런 말씀을 마소서

9 이스라엘의 왕이 한 내시를 불러 이르되 이믈라의 아들 미가야를 속히 오게 하라 하니라

10 이스라엘의 왕과 유다의 여호사밧 왕이 왕복을 입고 사마리아 성문 어귀 광장에서 각기 왕좌에 앉아 있고 모든 선지자가 그들의 앞에서 예언을 하고 있는데

11 그나아나의 아들 시드기야는 자기를 위하여 철로 뿔들을 만들어 가지고 말하되 여호와의 말씀이 왕이 이것들로 아람 사람을 찔러 진멸하리라 하셨다 하고

12 모든 선지자도 그와 같이 예언하여 이르기를 길르앗 라못으로 올라가 승리를 얻으소서 여호와께서 그 성읍을 왕의 손에 넘기시리이다 하더라

13 미가야를 부르러 간 사신이 일러 이르되 선지자들의 말이 하나 같이 왕에게 길하게 하니 청하건대 당신의 말도 그들 중 한 사람의 말처럼 길하게 하소서

14 미가야가 이르되 여호와께서 살아 계심을 두고 맹세하노니 여호와께서 내게 말씀하시는 것 곧 그것을 내가 말하리라 하고

15 이에 왕에게 이르니 왕이 그에게 이르되 미가야야 우리가 길르앗 라못으로 싸우러 가랴 또는 말랴 그가 왕께 이르되 올라가서 승리를 얻으소서 여호와께서 그 성읍을 왕의 손에 넘기시리이다

16 왕이 그에게 이르되 내가 몇 번이나 네게 맹세하게 하여야 네가 여호와의 이름으로 진실한 것으로만 내게 말하겠느냐

17 그가 이르되 내가 보니 온 이스라엘이 목자 없는 양 같이 산에 흩어졌는데 여호와의 말씀이 이 무리에게 주인이 없으니 각각 평안히 자기의 집으로 돌아갈 것이니라 하셨나이다

18 이스라엘의 왕이 여호사밧 왕에게 이르되 저 사람이 내게 대하여 길한 것을 예언하지 아니하고 흉한 것을 예언하겠다고 당신에게 말씀하지 아니하였나이까

19 미가야가 이르되 그런즉 왕은 여호와의 말씀을 들으소서 내가 보니 여호와께서 그의 보좌에 앉으셨고 하늘의 만군이 그의 좌우편에 모시고 서 있는데

20 여호와께서 말씀하시기를 누가 아합을 꾀어 그를 길르앗 라못에 올라가서 죽게 할꼬 하시니 하나는 이렇게 하겠다 하고 또 하나는 저렇게 하겠다 하였는데

21 한 영이 나아와 여호와 앞에 서서 말하되 내가 그를 꾀겠나이다

22 여호와께서 그에게 이르시되 어떻게 하겠느냐 이르되 내가 나가서 거짓말하는 영이 되어 그의 모든 선지자들의 입에 있겠나이다 여호와께서 이르시되 너는 꾀겠고 또 이루리라 나가서 그리하라 하셨은즉

23 이제 여호와께서 거짓말하는 영을 왕의 이 모든 선지자의 입에 넣으셨고 또 여호와께서 왕에 대하여 화를 말씀하셨나이다

24 그나아나의 아들 시드기야가 가까이 와서 미가야의 뺨을 치며 이르되 여호와의 영이 나를 떠나 어디로 가서 네게 말씀하시더냐

25 미가야가 이르되 네가 골방에 들어가서 숨는 그 날에 보리라

26 이스라엘의 왕이 이르되 미가야를 잡아 성주 아몬과 왕자 요아스에게로 끌고 돌아가서

27 말하기를 왕의 말씀이 이 놈을 옥에 가두고 내가 평안히 돌아올 때까지 고생의 떡과 고생의 물을 먹이라 하였다 하라

28 미가야가 이르되 왕이 참으로 평안히 돌아오시게 될진대 여호와께서 나를 통하여 말씀하지 아니하셨으리이다 또 이르되 너희 백성들아 다 들을지어다 하니라

아합의 죽음(대하 18:28-34)

29 이스라엘의 왕과 유다의 여호사밧 왕이 길르앗 라못으로 올라가니라

30 이스라엘의 왕이 여호사밧에게 이르되 나는 변장하고 전쟁터로 들어가려 하노니 당신은 왕복을 입으소서 하고 이스라엘의 왕이 변장하고 전쟁터로 들어가니라

31 아람 왕이 그의 병거의 지휘관 삼십이 명에게 명령하여 이르기를 너희는 작은 자나 큰 자와 더불어 싸우지 말고 오직 이스라엘 왕과 싸우라 한지라

32 병거의 지휘관들이 여호사밧을 보고 그들이 이르되 이가 틀림없이 이스라엘의 왕이라 하고 돌이켜 그와 싸우려 한즉 여호사밧이 소리를 지르는지라

33 병거의 지휘관들이 그가 이스라엘의 왕이 아님을 보고 쫓기를 그치고 돌이켰더라

34 한 사람이 무심코 활을 당겨 이스라엘 왕의 갑옷 솔기를 맞힌지라 왕이 그 병거 모는 자에게 이르되 내가 부상하였으니 네 손을 돌려 내가 전쟁터에서 나가게 하라 하였으나

35 이 날에 전쟁이 맹렬하였으므로 왕이 병거 가운데에 붙들려 서서 아람 사람을 막다가 저녁에 이르러 죽었는데 상처의 피가 흘러 병거 바닥에 고였더라

36 해가 질 녘에 진중에서 외치는 소리가 있어 이르되 각기 성읍으로 또는 각기 본향으로 가라 하더라

37 왕이 이미 죽으매 그의 시체를 메어 사마리아에 이르러 왕을 사마리아에 장사하니라

38 그 병거를 사마리아 못에서 씻으매 개들이 그의 피를 핥았으니 여호와께서 하신 말씀과 같이 되었더라 거기는 창기들이 목욕하는 곳이었더라

39 아합의 남은 행적과 그가 행한 모든 일과 그가 건축한 상아궁과 그가 건축한 모든 성읍은 이스라엘 왕 역대지략에 기록되지 아니하였느냐

40 아합이 그의 조상들과 함께 자매 그의 아들 아하시야가 대신하여 왕이 되니라

유다 왕 여호사밧(대하 20:31-21:1)

41 이스라엘의 아합 왕 제사년에 아사의 아들 여호사밧이 유다의 왕이 되니

42 여호사밧이 왕이 될 때에 나이가 삼십오 세라 예루살렘에서 이십오 년 동안 다스리니라 그의 어머니의 이름은 아수바라 실히의 딸이더라

43 여호사밧이 그의 아버지 아사의 모든 길로 행하며 돌이키지 아니하고 여호와 앞에서 정직히 행하였으나 산당은 폐하지 아니하였으므로 백성이 아직도 산당에서 제사를 드리며 분향하였더라

44 여호사밧이 이스라엘의 왕과 더불어 화평하니라

45 여호사밧의 남은 사적과 그가 부린 권세와 그가 어떻게 전쟁하였는지는 다 유다 왕 역대지략에 기록되지 아니하였느냐

46 그가 그의 아버지 아사의 시대에 남아 있던 1)남색하는 자들을 그 땅에서 쫓아내었더라

47 그 때에 에돔에는 왕이 없고 섭정 왕이 있었더라

48 여호사밧이 다시스의 선박을 제조하고 오빌로 금을 구하러 보내려 하였더니 그 배가 에시온게벨에서 파선하였으므로 가지 못하게 되매

49 아합의 아들 아하시야가 여호사밧에게 이르되 내 종으로 당신의 종과 함께 배에 가게 하라 하나 여호사밧이 허락하지 아니하였더라

50 여호사밧이 그의 조상들과 함께 자매 그의 조상 다윗 성에 그의 조상들과 함께 장사되고 그의 아들 여호람이 대신하여 왕이 되니라

이스라엘 왕 아하시야

51 유다의 여호사밧 왕 제십칠년에 아합의 아들 아하시야가 사마리아에서 이스라엘의 왕이 되어 이 년 동안 이스라엘을 다스리니라

52 그가 여호와 앞에서 악을 행하여 그의 아버지의 길과 그의 어머니의 길과 이스라엘에게 범죄하게 한 느밧의 아들 여로보암의 길로 행하며

53 바알을 섬겨 그에게 예배하여 이스라엘의 하나님 여호와를 노하시게 하기를 그의 아버지의 온갖 행위 같이 하였더라

Y el rey de Israel dijo a sus siervos: ¿No sabéis que Ramot de Galaad es nuestra, y nosotros no hemos hecho nada para tomarla de mano del rey de Siria? 4. Y dijo a Josafat: ¿Quieres venir conmigo a pelear contra Ramot de Galaad? Y Josafat respondió al rey de Israel: Yo soy como tú, y mi pueblo como tu pueblo, y mis caballos como tus caballos. 5. Dijo luego Josafat al rey de Israel: Yo te ruego que consultes hoy la palabra de Jehová. 6. Entonces el rey de Israel reunió a los profetas, como cuatrocientos hombres, a los cuales dijo: ¿Iré a la guerra contra Ramot de Galaad, o la dejaré? Y ellos dijeron: Sube, porque Jehová la entregará en mano del rey. 7. Y dijo Josafat: ¿Hay aún aquí algún profeta de Jehová, por el cual consultemos? 8. El rey de Israel respondió a Josafat: Aún hay un varón por el cual podríamos consultar a Jehová, Micaías hijo de Imla; mas yo le aborrezco, porque nunca me profetiza bien, sino solamente mal. Y Josafat dijo: No hable el rey así. 9. Entonces el rey de Israel llamó a un oficial, y le dijo: Trae pronto a Micaías hijo de Imla. 10. Y el rey de Israel y Josafat rey de Judá estaban sentados cada uno en su silla, vestidos de sus ropas reales, en la plaza junto a la entrada de la puerta de Samaria; y todos los profetas profetizaban delante de ellos. 11. Y Sedequías hijo de Quenaana se había hecho unos cuernos de hierro, y dijo: Así ha dicho Jehová: Con estos acornearás a los sirios hasta acabarlos. 12. Y todos los profetas profetizaban de la misma manera, diciendo: Sube a Ramot de Galaad, y serás prosperado; porque Jehová la entregará en mano del rey. 13. Y el mensajero que había ido a llamar a Micaías, le habló diciendo: He aquí que las palabras de los profetas a una voz anuncian al rey cosas buenas; sea ahora tu palabra conforme a la palabra de alguno de ellos, y anuncia también buen éxito. 14. Y Micaías respondió: Vive Jehová, que lo que Jehová me hablare, eso diré. 15. Vino, pues, al rey, y el rey le dijo: Micaías, ¿iremos a pelear contra Ramot de Galaad, o la dejaremos? Él le respondió: Sube, y serás prosperado, y Jehová la entregará en mano del rey. 16. Y el rey le dijo: ¿Hasta cuántas veces he de exigirte que no me digas sino la verdad en el nombre de Jehová? 17. Entonces él dijo: Yo vi a todo Israel esparcido por los montes, como ovejas que no tienen pastor; y Jehová dijo: Estos no tienen señor; vuélvase cada uno a su casa en paz. 18. Y el rey de Israel dijo a Josafat: ¿No te lo había yo dicho? Ninguna cosa buena profetizará él acerca de mí, sino solamente el mal. 19. Entonces él dijo: Oye, pues, palabra de Jehová: Yo vi a Jehová sentado en su trono, y todo el ejército de los cielos estaba junto a él, a su derecha y a su izquierda. 20. Y Jehová dijo: ¿Quién inducirá a Acab, para que suba y caiga en Ramot de Galaad? Y uno decía de una manera, y otro decía de otra. 21. Y salió un espíritu y se puso delante de Jehová, y dijo: Yo le induciré. Y Jehová le dijo: ¿De qué manera? 22. Él dijo: Yo saldré, y seré espíritu de mentira en boca de todos sus profetas. Y él dijo: Le inducirás, y aun lo conseguirás; ve, pues, y hazlo así. 23. Then the king of Israel gathered the prophets together, about four hundred men, and said to them, “Shall I go to battle against Ramoth-gilead, or shall I refrain?” And they said, “Go up, for the Lord will give it into the hand of the king.” 7. But Jehoshaphat said, “Is there not here another prophet of the Lord of whom we may inquire?” 8. And the king of Israel said to Jehoshaphat, “There is yet one man by whom we may inquire of the Lord, Micaiah the son of Imlah, but I hate him, for he never prophesies good concerning me, but evil.” And Jehoshaphat said, “Let not the king say so.” 9. Then the king of Israel summoned an officer and said, “Bring quickly Micaiah the son of Imlah.” 10. Now the king of Israel and Jehoshaphat the king of Judah were sitting on their thrones, arrayed in their robes, at the threshing floor at the entrance of the gate of Samaria, and all the prophets were prophesying before them. 11. And Zedekiah the son of Chenaanah made for himself horns of iron and said, “Thus says the Lord, ‘With these you shall push the Syrians until they are destroyed.’” 12. And all the prophets prophesied so and said, “Go up to Ramoth-gilead and triumph; the Lord will give it into the hand of the king.” Micaiah Prophesies Against Ahab 13. And the messenger who went to summon Micaiah said to him, “Behold, the words of the prophets with one accord are favorable to the king. Let your word be like the word of one of them, and speak favorably.” 14. But Micaiah said, “As the Lord lives, what the Lord says to me, that I will speak.” 15. And when he had come to the king, the king said to him, “Micaiah, shall we go to Ramoth-gilead to battle, or shall we refrain?” And he answered him, “Go up and triumph; the Lord will give it into the hand of the king.” 16. But the king said to him, “How many times shall I make you swear that you speak to me nothing but the truth in the name of the Lord?” 17. And he said, “I saw all Israel scattered on the mountains, as sheep that have no shepherd. And the Lord said, ‘These have no master; let each return to his home in peace.’” 18. And the king of Israel said to Jehoshaphat, “Did I not tell you that he would not prophesy good concerning me, but evil?” 19. And Micaiah said, “Therefore hear the word of the Lord: I saw the Lord sitting on his throne, and all the host of heaven standing beside him on his right hand and on his left; 20. and the Lord said, ‘Who will entice Ahab, that he may go up and fall at Ramoth-gilead?’ And one said one thing, and another said another. 21. Then a spirit came forward and stood before the Lord, saying, ‘I will entice him.’ 22. And the Lord said to him, ‘By what means?’ And he said, ‘I will go out, and will be a lying spirit in the mouth of all his prophets.’ And he said, ‘You are to entice him, and you shall succeed; go out and do so.’ 23. Now therefore behold, the Lord has put a lying spirit in the mouth of all these your prophets; the Lord has declared disaster for you.” 24. Then Zedekiah the son of Chenaanah came near and struck Micaiah on the cheek and said, “How did the Spirit of the Lord go from me to speak to you?” 25. And Micaiah said, “Behold, you shall see on that day when you go into an inner chamber to hide yourself.” 26. And the king of Israel said, “Seize Micaiah, and take him back to Amon the governor of the city and to Joash the king’s son, 27. and say, ‘Thus says the king, “Put this fellow in prison and feed him meager rations of bread and water, until I come in peace.”’” 28. And Micaiah said, “If you return in peace, the Lord has not spoken by me.” And he said, “Hear, all you peoples!” Ahab Killed in Battle 29. So the king of Israel and Jehoshaphat the king of Judah went up to Ramoth-gilead. 30. And the king of Israel said to Jehoshaphat, “I will disguise myself and go into battle, but you wear your robes.” And the king of Israel disguised himself and went into battle. 31. Now the king of Syria had commanded the thirty-two captains of his chariots, “Fight with neither small nor great, but only with the king of Israel.” 32. And when the captains of the chariots saw Jehoshaphat, they said, “It is surely the king of Israel.” So they turned to fight against him. And Jehoshaphat cried out. 33. And when the captains of the chariots saw that it was not the king of Israel, they turned back from pursuing him. 34. But a certain man drew his bow at random and struck the king of Israel between the scale armor and the breastplate. Therefore he said to the driver of his chariot, “Turn around and carry me out of the battle, for I am wounded.” 35. And the battle continued that day, and the king was propped up in his chariot facing the Syrians, until at evening he died. And the blood of the wound flowed into the bottom of the chariot. 36. And about sunset a cry went through the army, “Every man to his city, and every man to his country!” 37. So the king died, and was brought to Samaria. And they buried the king in Samaria. 38. And they washed the chariot by the pool of Samaria, and the dogs licked up his blood, and the prostitutes washed themselves in it, according to the word of the Lord that he had spoken. 39. Now the rest of the acts of Ahab and all that he did, and the ivory house that he built and all the cities that he built, are they not written in the Book of the Chronicles of the Kings of Israel? 40. So Ahab slept with his fathers, and Ahaziah his son reigned in his place. Jehoshaphat Reigns in Judah 41. Jehoshaphat the son of Asa began to reign over Judah in the fourth year of Ahab king of Israel. 42. Jehoshaphat was thirty-five years old when he began to reign, and he reigned twenty-five years in Jerusalem. His mother’s name was Azubah the daughter of Shilhi. 43. He walked in all the way of Asa his father. He did not turn aside from it, doing what was right in the sight of the Lord. Yet the high places were not taken away, and the people still sacrificed and made offerings on the high places. 44. Jehoshaphat also made peace with the king of Israel. 45. Now the rest of the acts of Jehoshaphat, and his might that he showed, and how he warred, are they not written in the Book of the Chronicles of the Kings of Judah? 46. And from the land he exterminated the remnant of the male cult prostitutes who remained in the days of his father Asa. 47. There was no king in Edom; a deputy was king. 48. Jehoshaphat made ships of Tarshish to go to Ophir for gold, but they did not go, for the ships were wrecked at Ezion-geber. 49. Then Ahaziah the son of Ahab said to Jehoshaphat, “Let my servants go with your servants in the ships,” but Jehoshaphat was not willing. 50. And Jehoshaphat slept with his fathers and was buried with his fathers in the city of David his father, and Jehoram his son reigned in his place. Ahaziah Reigns in Israel 51. Micaías profetiza la derrota de Acab

Tres años pasaron sin guerra entre los sirios e Israel.
Y aconteció al tercer año, que Josafat rey de Judá descendió al rey de Israel.

Jehoshaphat Reigns in Judah
Jehoshaphat the son of Asa began to reign over Judah in the fourth year of Ahab king of Israel.
Jehoshaphat was thirty-five years old when he began to reign, and he reigned twenty-five years in Jerusalem. His mother’s name was Azubah the daughter of Shilhi.
He walked in all the way of Asa his father. He did not turn aside from it, doing what was right in the sight of the Lord. Yet the high places were not taken away, and the people still sacrificed and made offerings on the high places.
Jehoshaphat also made peace with the king of Israel.

And from the land he exterminated the remnant of the male cult prostitutes who remained in the days of his father Asa.
There was no king in Edom; a deputy was king.
Jehoshaphat made ships of Tarshish to go to Ophir for gold, but they did not go, for the ships were wrecked at Ezion-geber.
Then Ahaziah the son of Ahab said to Jehoshaphat, “Let my servants go with your servants in the ships,” but Jehoshaphat was not willing.
And Jehoshaphat slept with his fathers and was buried with his fathers in the city of David his father, and Jehoram his son reigned in his place.

Ahaziah Reigns in Israel
Ahaziah the son of Ahab began to reign over Israel in Samaria in the seventeenth year of Jehoshaphat king of Judah, and he reigned two years over Israel.
He did what was evil in the sight of the Lord and walked in the way of his father and in the way of his mother and in the way of Jeroboam the son of Nebat, who made Israel to sin.
He served Baal and worshiped him and provoked the Lord, the God of Israel, to anger in every way that his father had done.
